I'd like to see Dillet train back with yates for a year.

He'd be broken in half.

His back and shoulders are far off from what they used to be.

He doesn't look too bad. Take his age into account and he's still quite impressive. Something drastic has to be done about that back though if he ever wants to qualify for the Olympia again.

Paul can't pose to save his life and I personally think that he must have a screw loose to continue to pose like that.

Here is Paul in 1991. Look at his width. What happened since??

You know what.... even though Paul Dillet doesn't look like the Paul Dillet of yore, he didn't back out, and he made his comeback. Maybe for some of his fans, that was good enough.

he doesn't look terrible.  he doesn't look like dillet 93 or 94, but he doesn't look bad.  for his first comeback show, it's a good start.

Paul does like quite good for his first comeback show.  He will make the improvements (physique-wise and presentation-wise). However...did ne really think that his present physique could conquer a JJ or Dareem?  :-\  Very bold statements for Paul indeed.

He is still completely unphotogenic in the face.  Never seen anyone that every single pic of their face always looked like a deformed deer in the headlights.

I hope he used Public Enemies song  Don't Believe The Hype to pose to.

his calves are non existant. He said he has virtually no cartilage in his shoulders, and that his shoulder are grinding bone on bone. So that could be the reason why his delts and back look shitty, and the noticeable discomfort in his posing.

Considering that he stopped training all together, he looked respectable.  Remember, he did not have the luxury of a full offseason to get big then diet down.  With another year of training he move up

Yeah, he didn't look like offseason Ronnie. Just nothing compared to the main guys. I'd like to see him make a good comeback, but he has alot of work to do. That's not counting his back that lacked throughout his prime, too.

After 1 year comeback training, dude looks fookin good, only so much muscle memory will do, have to give the body time. He's never gonna look as good as in 91 or 93. Extensive surgeries to both delts amongst other tears, and not as receptive to juice as before. Age will do that to you.
IMO, looks phenomenal for a 40something (not all 42 yr olds can win O's, you gotta peak right) with a year back of training under belt after 3 or 4 years off.
The lat thing, granted they're not the best, and he got given good genes except very high lat insertion and poor calves, but the lats are there, he just cant pose for shit. Never could.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe he can jack it up to the Dillet of old, but I doubt it. Still, as someone said, at least he didn't back out due to some injury, or ninja attack, and hes doing it for the fans as well as reviving the ol' career in hope of a cash injection from somewhere.

Should enter the Masters O if there is one again, there he'll do damage.

Nice to see Dillet back on a pro stage however I think his days as a competitor are behind him really. His legs looked all right but he was missing delts, back & upper chest! He didn't seem to display the outrageous vascularity he was known for back in the day either.
