The lighter weight sure did make a difference. Kamali looked a lot better. Good to see him figure that out. His abdomen looked a lot better and he looked impressive from every side pose.
I also think his shoulders look a bit more smooth and lumpy. Not a huge deal. Who knows.
I would guess most of the guys got away from using synthol these days. Site injections are just oil based injections placed in a certain spot to temporarily give a bit more volume and inflammation in the area. They don't make a huge difference but can cause a muscle to look a bit fuller. The downside is it can cause a muscle to look smoother or temporarily swollen/irregular which, if it does, should count against a competitor.
