When MuscleTech sponsored the IRONMAN 2004 Gustavo managed to beat a flawless Lee Priest. That fat Rican looked like he was in his third trimester. That company has way too much pull. And wasn't the Montreal a GNC show?

$ is pull.

Think about September 11th.  Bush allowed people to bring matches and lighters on a plane when a bomb can easily be made from those materials.  ::)  But the racist murderous fuck allowed it because the tobacco industry is big business and has a lot of $ = pull.

It's all politics and money is politics.  And yes, Gustavo did look pregnant at that show.  His distention was obvious, but he improved by the time of the 2005 Olympia.

funny you should mention sept 11 and money in the same sentence.

On sept 10, 2001, later afternoon, Donald Rumsfeld announced the Dept of Defense *lost* 2.3 TRILLION dollars.  It would have been the story of the decade if the next morning hadn't served as a helluva distractor.

I'll put it to you like this: at the VERY least they knew it was coming and LET it happen, if not directly plan it.

That would be treason on their part.
Dude, more American universities are teaching both theories on 911 now!

yeah, i don't even argue the events of 911 with people much anymore.  There is so much overwhelming evidence of coverup, no-plane at pentagon, and bombs in the towers, that anyone who doesn't know either hasn't looked at the facs, or doesn't want to know.

Let's leave the US politics out of this board and discussion.

But lets bring the Muscletech politics into it. Here is the poster of the show. I think GNC is the main sponsor here.  And Muscletech is just one of 30 sponsors on the posters. So how is it their show. I seriously don't think they put a lot of money into the show at all.

If I remember correctly, Quincy Taylor is a Pinnacle/Cytodyne athlete. And Dennis Wolf is a Weider/AMI signed athlete along with Nutrex. So obviously, Weider would of love to see Dennis qualify for the Olympia here, since they put him on a cover a few months ago. Do you think the Weider camp will cry over this to the IFBB because King Kamali, a Muscletech athlete, beat Dennis Wolf, a Weider/AMI athlete. Hmm....

LOL... good tie-in!

Does the show promoter release the numbers of who gave what?  I know some keep that info close, but it sure would be nice to see, not just for this show, but for all shows.  It would really suck if the higher $ sponsors at shows got a better look from the judges.

Bush allowed people to bring matches and lighters on a plane when a bomb can easily be made from those materials.

So Bush directly let someone bring matches and lighters onto planes?

Damn...60 Minutes needs to interview you, dude.  You've got info no one else does!

Muscletech didn't put once Cent into this show, neither did most of the companies who's logos are on that poster, SAN, XYIENCE, ET

Do you have a source?

Also, what does it take to get your name on that poster?  Those booths at the show come free?

I work in the industry, let's just leave it at that.

In a smaller show like this one a promoter will just plop logos onto the poster to make the show seem larger than it actually is.  If you're talking about the NY Pro, Ironman, etc sponsors will pay for logo and booth space and companies will pay for the exposure, but a small show in a small canadian town probably needs those logo's placed on his poster way more than BSN needs to fly all the way up to Canada to put up a booth to see a few french canadians for a few hours!

I disagree.. first of all Montreal is 3.5mil agglomeration with more bodybuilding fans per capita over there that in 80 percentile of the US I'm pretty sure. I went to many shows over there and I'm allways surprised by the enthousiasm. As a supp company if you make any market studies you know that and will capitalize on it.

Ask Alexxx....

Matt C,
You are such a jerk off.  You lift weights and inject anabolic steroids.  Therefore, being one of the bigger guys on this site, you think you know everything.  You are a small dick fish in this large pond.  You are actually an ignorant dipshit.  So shut the f*ck up

Ron, you are right about Dennis being with Nutrex/BMS but unfortunately he doesn not have Weider/AMI publication contract.

First, JJ deserved the win.

Second, looks like Muscletech is taking initiative.

The only gift was Kamili beating Wolf.

Altought 240 has recently cooled down a little, Jarret has a point you guys are generally a nuisance.... your comments rarelly have any value added but only there to boost your keyboard egos and look for an occasion to place a "meltdown" owned or "monster" somewhere, which by now is in diminishing returns.. lost of credibility.

Ya, we saw the f8ucking plane gif with the red line...
