Montreal Pro: Milos Sarcev's take on king beating wolf...
« on: September 03, 2006, 08:04:21 PM »
Direct Quote from Milos Sarcev...

And this is = disgusting...

If IFBB judges can see this actually happening (King beating Dennis) they should be drug tested (or have serious eye exam...)

While Kamali improved DRAMATICALLY in one week and his conditioning was by far the best that he has achieved since his pro debut (GREAT JOB BOB!!!) - there is not a SINGLE aspect of bodybuilding, a single pose, a single muscle...a single - single that Kamali could win over Dennis (except if you are judging darkness of the hair...).

It is SHAME that we have to see something like this still happening on the IFBB stages...

Marcos (Cahon) - I would use your words this time and say exactly what you said to Dennis - NO WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY you should have lost to him....and I actually fel good about saying it (

I don't know who this milos is, but I doubt he has the knowledge of experience of the judges there tonight.  Who were the judges anyway?

Oh, that Milos.
http://musclememory.com/show.php?s=sarcev&g=M

Musclememory says that he's only done 68 IFBB Pro shows in his career, winning the Canada Pro cup and Toronto pro cup in 1997,

Sounds like this milos probably knows a thing about bodybuilding judging.  I guess i was wrong.  Do you think he might be right when he said:

I'm looking forward to reading the magazine coverage of the event. I'm sure Wheeler will be just as candid as Misko.

72 IFBB pro shows...not 68...

And to confirm what I said: it is absolute SHAME that something like this could happen (again and again in the IFBB pro shows).

It is the time for us (public) to start asking judges to give us their official scores and REASONS for decisions they have made...
So, we could possibly start with finding out WHO judged the show and how (and more importantly WHY) they scored each and every round.

If I am a judge I would certainly have no problem elaborating how and why I judged the show and why I have placed certain competitor ahead of the other...
Maybe (just maybe?) judges from the Montreal would have no problem letting us know HOW and WHY they placed Kamali ahead of Wolf...

Bob as the IFBB athletes representative should ASK the athletes if we would like the option to hear the judges giving us their official judging decisions...
After all - it would be very educational for all of us to find out HOW judges think...and what they (really ;)) are looking for...

So if they start with:

#1) V-taper - they could tell us how and why they saw Kamali beating Wolf in this department...

#2) Flat abdomen ---(Kamali beating Wolf ::))...or small waistline...

#3) Aesthetics

#4) Symmetry and balance

#5) Conditioning

#6) 4 Symmetry round poses (one pose going to Kamali's favor would be more than enough...)

#7) 8 Muscularity round poses (also ONE pose that Kamali could beat Wolf would be enough...)

etc

etc

etc

Dennis needs to work on the execution of his front double bicep pose but I still don't think King took him out in that one either...

Good point Milos and you have the ability to put it to Bob to garner support for this.

I'd be interested to hear Bob's personal take on this issue (Dennis/Kamali).  I have a feeling for professional reasons he will not say much though.

Too much backslapping in this sport.  This board doesn't really side with Kamali about anything but the pictures don't lie.

The Chickster has said today that he thought King was superior to Wolf and basically everyone who thought otherwise didn't know what they were looking at...

King was improved but his legs were small and smooth and his arms were too weak IMO.

Even if King was sharper than Wolf, which it doesn't really appear he was, does an extra 1% sharpness give you the edge over a guy who kills you on so many bodyparts?

Hah, well I thought sanity might prevail and he'd choose to say nothing in particular, rather than trying to feed the board with bullshit.

Seems I gave him too much credit.  Dennis was obviously sharper than King.  Dennis is larger than king in most respects too.  Pointless me saying this of course because we all know it is true.

Kings arms have a poor genetic shape, thats mostly his problem.  They don't look all that bad from rear double bi but from the front they are heinous.  They look tiny.

Milos,  when that day comes when you officially retire I would love to see you on a judging panel.  There need to be more former bb judges because who knows a bb's physique best....a bb.  That said...Dennis did get a raw deal  and I think King was not better than him on that night and definitely not in Texas.

So are you saying you agree with Milos (and pretty much everyone on the board, except Ron, Lift, and the rest of the IFBB sycophants) that Dennis looked better?
