"King" got a gift. He knows it, we all know it, and Shawn knows it too.

Unfortunately, it wouldn't be good for "IFBB man" Shawn Ray to come on here and criticize IFBB judging, so he's doing the smart thing and sitting on his hands and staying quiet.

Pretty impressive. Theres a lot of IFBB pros that train hard as hell who never make the top 15 and dream of being q'ed to make the Olympia, let alone the top 5.

Does this placing really need a response?
I mean, I'd like to say congratulations but actually I want to Apologize to Dennis Wolfe.
Dude, you looked great, Keep your head up.
Somtimes calls like these can end careers but you my friend have a bright future.
Stay the course and put it behind you.
You will be in the Mr. O this year, which is an incredible feat as a Rookie.
That being said, in reference to one of my last posts about Tamali in the famous words of Paul Anka:
And now, the End is near, and so you face the Final Curtain.
How can I bring myself to applaude this decision?
At best, it was favorism and at worse, Cick was right Tamali improved from last weeks fiasco regarding conditioning but not much else regarding his weak points.
But I believe we have sunk to a new low regarding this placement.
I'm actually a bit sick at the moment and very disappointed with this call by Professional Judges.
Anyone else agree :-\

Tamali improved from last weeks fiasco regarding conditioning but not much else regarding his weak points.

The only way Klownmali can "improve his weak points" is to have 20 lbs. of muscle tissue surgically removed from his obliques and added to his lower biceps.  Oh, and have about 30 feet of overgrown intestine removed!

Yeah I feel bad for Dennis.  The guy was on two times in a row and got the shaft both times.  King looked much better but not better than Dennis.

Dang, that there was as surgically precise as they come.  Also (I was not at the show) Chick stated that you had to be there to really know and I somewhat agree with this statement; although my eyes vote for Wolf. What could have been that different with Wolf's physique that if he didn't do his quarter turns correctly he would lose to Kamali?

Shawn,

Do you think the judges conspired to place King well or were they just bad judges?

No one can deny that Kamali looked 'good' onstage this past weekend.  He did his homework, sucked it up, and got himself into shape over the past week.

Yes, he got his ass kicked at the Texas show, but for today, he should be defined by how he responded to that beatdown - by going into his next event looking like an actual 'pro'.

Let him have his day in the sun, folks.  Don't be so quick to piss on his parade, just because.  This may be the high point of his professional career, and as bodybuilding fans, we should allow him to enjoy it.

Shawn doesn't have to eat his words, as far as I see, King has lost fans due to the gift he got this weekend. What did he do to get it?
