Could Mattarazzo have been top 5 throughout the 90's is he had a shorter torso

Could he have been up there with Yates, Levrone, Ray, Wheeler, and Dillett?

mikey would need to come in bigger. not much going on from the side. he would also need a bigger and better back.

he always came in great conditioning and looked great from the front.

one of my all time fav's. its a shame what happened to him.

In all seriousness, he probably got tired of trying to argue what only he could see (eg. peak Ronnie had small traps from the front, was unbalanced, unaesthetic, etc etc).

After being systematically and elegantly proven wrong for 355 pages, it was probably too much.

But I agree - he will be back.

by showing countless videos (which were ignored) and pics showing that everything he said about peak Ronnie was in fact, wrong.

eg.

fiction: ND argues dorian had a better front double bi than Ronnie.

reality:

no way in hell he did.

this is just but one tiny example. Review the thread for countless more.

I remember somewhere - probably Flex - there was a picture of Mike's dad with like 23 inch calves. Mike got a good start from birth. Anyone have some shots of those silly cows of his?

Don Ross and I sat in the front row at the 1991 USA and when Mike came on stage we looked at each other and just started laughing. His arms & calves were as crazy as any arms & calves ever. His razor sharpe flat-top haircut added to the whole package. Very cool and absolutely unique.

i can vouche for mike being a cool fucker. i didnt even know the guy other than seeing him at the gym a couple days a week and he would even conversate with my 18 yr old pipsqueek ass in the gym during precontest training for the olympia! i dont think there's another pro on earth that would do the same. he's still in the modesto area working at AJ's bailbonds. i dont recall ever seeing him train anything other than shoulders and abs and doing cardio and i would see him in there pretty regularly. never once did i see him train chest or back. i know he trained at at least one other gym though so maybe he trained other bodyparts at other gyms.

Calves were genetically outta this Universe. Heard he didn't train 'em.

I think his arms were natural "in the badell way".
Remember that he was already very big in 1991.
He did not gain much mass after that year.
Synthol was almost unknown at that time, except maybe in germany.

He turned pro at the 91 usa ,and i think he only did one other show in his state mass,he was rock hard and only listed at 228 5'10 ,long torso and short leg's which really exaggerated his calve's,but at what cost did all that extra bulking he did to contend with the big guy's.seemed like a cool guy.
