In the recent issue of Flex magazine, Shawn Perine wrote an engaging interview with the great Flex Wheeler. In it, Flex was asked who would be the next Mr. Olympia. He replied:


"I would say Mustafa Mohammad could be Mr. Olympia. If you look at the guy, he has no lagging body parts and the craziest muscles you could imagine. He doesn't have a big waist either"


Personally, I agree that MM could win the crown once Ronnie steps down. With more muscle than nearly everyone else, he just needs to get his conditioning better. Maybe if he wasn't such a lazy when it came to contest prep he would have won already. Though I disagree with Wheeler's assesment of Mustafa's waist, it is nevertheless a very strong endorsement. Despite what some pros would have us think, Mustafa Mohammad is a legitimate challenger for the Olympia title.

he placed 4th at the San Fran behind Gustavo, Branch, and Melvin; all of whom were already qualified for the Olympia. MM has already earned his place at the big dance thanks to Bob's favourite technicality.

damn!!! He looks really good. I saw him @ the IRONMAN early this year and he wasn't anything special. Just some MASSIVE wheels! but with some good contest prep, mustafa could really make an impact.

Flex doesn't seem to realize that MM could never win the big one....Why, because when he turns around, his extremely wide hips make his back seem less impressive...Don't get me wrong the guy has a huge back.  But the hips will never get smaller....And he looks bottom heavy onstage...

Flex Wheeler loves to put the Mr. Olympia on any tom dick or harry whos hot at the moment.  After Vic.M won the show of strength Flex tabbed him the next mr. o.  Then when Gustavo placed third at the O last year Flex said that Gustavo will win the Olympia.  Now hes tabbing mohammed?  Whatever.

mustafa should ALWAYS place at least top 8 based on size, thickness, and shape alone. you wont find anyone as thick as him without a huge belly

the reason he is so thick is becuase he is literally FAT (relative to the other competitors) on stage. Could you imagine if Ronnie came in with fat glutes how THICK he would look?
