HuhI think Ronnie at 300lbs is going down.....he tried that a few years back and SHOULD have lost- just like he should have lost in 2001.

I'm already betting $100 with thisiskeith... I think King Ron will win #9 and he thinks Cutler will beat Ron.

If you wanna make a bet for some taco bell, I'm in!

240 - If I thought the judging was fair in this sport, I'd make a bet in a minute.....but we ALL know that the judging sucks in the world of BB. If Ronnie comes in decent shape, he'll take it. Cutler ( or someone else) will have to look pretty spectacular to overtake Ronnie even if he's in marginal shape.

It's too bad......but I will be pulling for Cutler - we need a new Olympia and I think he would represent the sport the best. Coleman could be doing so much more with this title, but he's not. Cutler will get it out there................

Its tough man, I mean im a fan of both ROnnies, and Jay Cuts..

Im wishing them both the best, let whoever looks better on the big day win, thats all.

They are both Champions to me..these past few years, its been a toss up between them both..its a shame they are ahead of the competiton at the same time in their careers....  If Ronnie retired we might see Jay hoarding sandows for the next 5 years.  8)  Jay is young, only 32! Look at Freeman at over 40...but we all know Jay wont do that, im sure he will retire and heel his body at 35-36...

I think you've said it best......great quote - but I keep hearing that Jay needs to heal his body - Is the guy in injured? Too many drugs?? What's the deal? I thought he takes great care of himself - if anything, I think Ronnie is the one in trouble. I talked to a buddy of mine who trains people in Colorado - at World Gym in Denver. He saw Ronnie last year at an autograph signing and he said Ronnie could barely move or make legible conversation with people - he was completley out of it. At another signing, he was better......but who the hell knows - I take that kind of info with a grain of salt.

yeha, i haven't had any in 3 months probably.  But those commercials make it look so awesome.  I actually got up super early and had to eat on the run this AM and had a mcgriddle from McD.  That bitch was terrific.  like a virgin carmen electra melting in my mouth.  Heavenly.

Thanks weightpit,

Jay is fine, healthy..What I meant was hes a smart cat- I dont see him doing this into his late 30s....I just think hes gonna take his health into consideration and retire relatively earlier than some top pros, it helps hes smart with money/investments....but who knows...only Jay...

Its gotta be rough on a 42yo to be walking around carrying 300+lbs all year. I'd feel like crap too at that weight.  :)

In it 2 win it

Good point - I'm Jay's height - 5'9" and I weigh 215.....and I feel it bad some days!! I don't know how he can walk around at 300lbs - plus I'm 38.

Herc...you're right....I think Jay really wants this title and wants to win it a few times......but I don't see him competing past my age. I would be surprised. Why Ronnie keeps doing it is beyond me - but the guy looks awesome.

I agree.  I feel a very distinct difference from being between 150-160 before and now being 190 or so at 5'9.  It is very noticeable and I don't know how Jay and some of the other mass monsters can manage comfortably with well over 100 more pounds on their frame.

Oh I totally agree.......30 lbs makes a hell of a difference. There are days my legs feel like 200lb blocks of cement....aches and pains here and there that I never felt before.....especially after back day!!

Here's a perfect example - I don't know the back ground of this pic, but Ronnie looks like he's about to keel over. Can any one explain the story behind this pic??

This is the kind of thing you seldom hear pros mention.  I would imagine some of them definitely mask little aches and pains with painkillers but even then you will have the actual physical weight of being 300 pounds to deal with.  Maybe it isn't painful per se, but it must be very tiring.

You are so right - BUT....if you have seen one of Ronnie's DVD's, it shows him going to a Chiropractor and Ronnie talks about some of the bad injuries he's had - both shoulders ( he didn't divulge) and a herniated disc where he couldn't walk for two weeks, to mention a few. And we know about some of the injuries to Dorian Yates.......

Right now, a few aleves a day help me out.

Huh???? What does that pic settle??? That Coleman looks big in spandex and a Tee shirt?? You can't make anything else out??

I love how you folks are saying that the contest is over from ONE picture that doesn't even show anything. Plus, you "experst" who say  Jay has a bad mid-section and frame like a 'frig must be blind......he's got just about the best abs and abdominals in the business......

I think Ronnie at 300lbs is going down.....he tried that a few years back and SHOULD have lost- just like he should have lost in 2001.

Look out for Cutler to take it this year......

E. ;D

its just oxygen...Its not a big deal...Go to any Walmart in the world and take a look around and you will see a couple people walking around with an oxygen tank by their side...

We all know that once you get under 5-6% bodyfat and stay their for some period of time, its gonna take its toll...Now pull out all the water from your system using all kinds of different drugs ect...Oxygen is the least of problems for any of these "athletes"

I like it how it's become "my" comment...I was only reporting what has been brought to my attention from credible sources.

I haven't seen Ronnie, personally...and pointed out on the show, that great champions find a way to get it done.

Bob, don't take this the wrong way, because I like you, i honestly do. I love the War Of Worlds etc. however, you may say that you were reporting on other comments which is fair enough, but your comments were said in such a way that it was as if you meant them and that as if they were true. Personally, i'm the kind of person not to belive 'gossip' or 'hear say' and not report it unless i can be sure it is true. Unless you can confirm what you heard, then you should not have reported it - fact. I suggest when being such an influentional person as you are in this business, then you take a similar stance, ignore the gossip, report the truth.

Regards

Utlan

P.S. This year is Ronnie's no. 9, because this year, like most of the other years, he deserves it, f**k the haters.

Taco Bell?

Here's what you do.  Buy taco.  Smash taco with hammer.  Throw smached taco in toilet.  The results are the same, you just removed the middle man.

Motherboy (the band).
