Props to Rhino good job Jack

I want to give my props to Jack Rhino London for busting his ass and doing the best he could in the NOC.No Jack isnt the most symertrical guy, nor is he the youngest, but he gave it his all.I have competed for 12 years and I retired last year, and the only things that matter is your tried your best and you looked the best you coud with the genetics god gave you.Not everybody can have round muscle bellies likes dexter, or a small waiste like shawn, or turn pro at 22 like Lee priest. In bodybuilding you should never compare or compete with any one but yourself, as long as you look better, bigger and sharper ever year, your a winner in my book. The reason why I say this is because you can do anything about the genetics god gave you or the political aspects of bodybuilding , so all you can do be the best bodybuilder you can be.Anyways good job Jack, you looked good, no your not Lee Priest but you did your best, and in my book your a winner.....God Bless ....John

If you an amatuer then i agree with you...But if your a pro, then you don't just do it for yourself anymore...Because usually with becoming a pro, comes the fan base...Lee Priest has said many times that he sometimes can't stand competing but he realises that his fans want to see him up there...

Yet, you've bashed my pictures when I did my first NPC bodybuilding show.

Nice words except you're only saying it because Jack is your friend, not because you really mean it and you don't want him to get the same treatment that I've gotten around here for my pictures.

Unfortunately, you know what's going to happen  now.

Stay strong, Rhino.

I don't see any reason at all for Jack London to pursue a Pro Bodybuilding career. If he would be winning, or having a real shot at winning, perhaps it could be something to ponder.

Then, perhaps, the health risks and all other aspects could've been justified.

Now? I don't think so.

What now then? From what I understand, London has crazy powerlifting talent. He should hook up with a guy like Dave Tate to set him up to make a conversion, it would take him a good 6-7 months to get in the groove and do his first meet, and another 6 months to start produce results IMO.

But a 900+ squat as a junior... that's crazy.

I was there cheering for Rhino and all of the competitors.
.
This was a shot in the dark for all who put this show togther. Not to mention what it takes to get you body and mind ready for a show.  No matter what some of the competitors looked like, how many of you would have prepped and stepped on that stage?

fans buy the supplements that the said pro is slinging....Take the top 10 in the world out of the equation and what do you have....Guys like Mike "Who"Morris selling his autographs at a  show...Who is he selling them to?????That is what i call paying a pro to compete....

Do you really think for one second that King Kamali really wanted to get on stage when he knew he was way off in NY????why do you think he did it? You think for himself?...You have to get on stage to be relevant to the fans...

well i'll tell ya what...If the IFBB wanted to give me a pro card for nothing, I wouldn't take it...Why, because i know in my heart that i'm not anywhere near the pro level....YOu make it sound like they were competing in a state show...And should be be praised for just getting up there...That is BS...You think if Derik Jeter goes 0-40, he won't get booed at every game until he competes the way he should again...Of course he would...If a guy comes up from triple A to pitch because a guy went down hurt and he gets totally shelled...Guess what? He will be back down to triple....

Don't get it twisted.

I asked about prepping and stepping on stage, not your condition when you got on stage.

Could you, would you, did you do any of it ever?

And no, I never did.

Wombat, That being said maybe back down to the minors, but still in the game working to get better.

Rhino will be back, bigger & better.  He's a pro now.  He's got the time to get everything ready.  & when Wayne has enough men to start a masters show, Rhino will be compete well in it.  Rhino & everyone else who broke ranks to appear in this new federation deserve our thanks.  The stranglehold on pro-dom has just started to slip.

So i take it that you are in alot of Ken JOnes threads stating the same thing when 99% of the people are wondering why he is a pro...I believe kenny got his IFBB card by competing for it...Maybe im wrong...

From the looks of it, Little League would be a more appropriate level.

What the PDI should do to protect it's integrity is make all the guys that did NOT place better than 6th place re-qualify in one of their events through the year.  You should not begin a new professional organization with less than top 10 or even 15 national level bodybuilders....it just isn't smart business.  This was the first show.  like I said earlier there were some very good physiques up there and 1 top tier pro......to deserve to stand on stage next to these guys and call yourself professional you should be able to carry your own weight.  I personally wouldn't compete EVER unless I was at the level.  That's just me.  I've seen many guys at shows that just should not be qualified to compete.  This IS the professionals after all.  In jacks case I know he gave it his all.  I heard he said it was just a hobby for him, but it is the pros and if it's just a hobby than maybe he should re think his choice to accept pro status.  If it is not just a hobby than he could and I'm sure will get back to the drawing board and come in the way he should at that level.
