Over dieting when you still have fat to lose? And I'm sure his body didn't "shut down"... I'm sure he was on steroids, thyroid, ephedrine etc... keeping the metabolism high. There is no starvation mode when you are "assisted".

OK Enough of me teasing Jack.....I was just having a little fun.

its total bullshit that your body cant shut down while "on"...but I dont think thats the case at all.

after not competing for a few years, when i warmed up at the golds classic last year before the npc nationals....i was on zero carbs for 4 days untill i started carbing up on thursday...

on wednesday night, i was ready....on saturday i looked like ASS...and was FLAT from CARBS, and could not get a pump at all.

i did the east coast a week later, and for 6 days i went zero carbs but added fats...at the east coast i was tight, hard, and ripped.

i think the same thing happed to jack

BAD Vinny!

You've been a gentlemen about this entire thing from the beginning and now you pull a "Shawn Ray".
Yes many things have been said to you but I thought you were above all that.  :-\

You need to go walk your dog for a while and enjoy the sun.

The standard carb up, cut your water, take diuretics almost always does not work. Not that I am saying this is what Jack did. Guys almost always look better 2 weeks out.

Saying "Rhino did his best and that's all that mattered" is like telling an obese chick "Hey don't worry, looks don't matter, it's the inside that really matters"

Hey Jack , don't worry what these guys say, alot of these guys have never competed, just come back bigger and better next year. You are a great guy, and have respect for every one and deserve the same. You might not have been a 100% and i have been there more then once, just makes to come back better. Cant wait to see you up there nexted year. 8)

Thanks Frank.

Yes Vinny, I think I carbed up, and I never did that before. I think I need to go back to fats, not carbs, I always spill and look like I never dieted. This has happened to me before.

I didn't see any water retention. Lower body was tight and shredded. Back had fat to lose though.

I don't see any reason at all for Jack London to pursue a Pro Bodybuilding career. If he would be winning, or having a real shot at winning, perhaps it could be something to ponder.

Then, perhaps, the health risks and all other aspects could've been justified.

Now? I don't think so.

What now then? From what I understand, London has crazy powerlifting talent. He should hook up with a guy like Dave Tate to set him up to make a conversion, it would take him a good 6-7 months to get in the groove and do his first meet, and another 6 months to start produce results IMO.

But a 900+ squat as a junior... that's crazy.YIP

Is it stats found of the 900+ squat anywere or is it just Internet talk

For the record.....i'm just busting JACKS BALLS.

but with carbing up......think as we get older, the carb load just does not work well.

i have been in the same boat as jack in the past, so i actualy believe that he looked better the night before.

i dont think he was fat, i think he was holding so much water, that it just looked like it was fat.

It's just internet talk, but London claims he did it at Temple. A known powerlifting Mecca, home of Dr Squat and many others.

So I doubt he's bullshitting.

And I'm sure the stats could be found somewhere. Get in touch with Disa Hatfield, or Michael Soong. They probably know more on this.

My point is anyhow, if those numbers are correct, that London could be a top guy in WPO within 2-4 years of serious training.

Which he never can be in any kind of bodybuilding federation.

I know Vinny, I was only kidding too...

As for the carbing, I think this is exactly what happened. I should know better, it never wroked in the past.

Rhino,

In all seriousness, do you have any regrets about your bravado and physique claims here on getbig?

I never made any barvado claims. I said I derserved to be there, and I would do my best, I never made any claims.

Honestly, I overcarbed, but even at my best, I would have maybe been 12th or 13th. But that's okay, it's more than most will ever do.

No, I am happy. I fucked up, but then again, I am human.

So did the PDI drug test like they said they would,if so how was it you admit to taking diretics.

That's because you guys do this zero carb depletion nonsense. If you do this for several days there is no way you can expect to fill back out in a couple of days. The cell shrinks, thus causing a smaller amount of carbs than you could normally consume to make you spill (and not fill out).

Sean,  you have been my toughest critic, but I have to say, thats what I think happened.

I seemed to be right on the night before.

excellent advice to jack, i have been telling people this for quite sometime. My bet results with others has been getting them ready ealry and coasting into the show still eating.

So you think that had you been forced to qualify for the NOC that you would have? You placed 18th, which means that you would not have earned a Pro Card in the qualifier.  Correct me if I am wrong.

You are wrong, I beat several who qualified the night beofre, and you too should get off my fucking back, or qualify, and compete, either way-I don't care.
