Judging by the posted rules, I would say just about all in the O would have broken those rules , they are so open to interpretation it is ridiculous , very very hard to defend open ended rules such as that !!

In their own by-laws it states Lee is has a right to a hearing and can file an appeal. If he wants to do the Olympia he can. I promise he will place very low and someone please has a video recorder going with the sound up cause those 1000 people are going to make the noise of 5000. It's going to be worth just going to see that. But, I'll wait for it to hit cable.

I do not expect Lee to be suspended. MAYBE they will try to with hold his earnings from the O until a later hearing or something, but not suspended. Either way more IFBB BB's will be competing in the PDI in the future, no doubt.
Instead of being a goffer and follower, Lee proved he is a leader and more will be following his lead.

Monster irony that the measure you fought for, would be the same one that lee would use to nail them for suspending him. Lee is guaranteed $4000 for stepping onstage at the Olympia. Even if he doesn't diet and comes in last place.

So when you say 'there is no guarantee that you'd finish in the money', I'm not sure that's correct.

It would also be irrelevant, IF he were suspended anyway...You can't sue on the grounds that IF I weren't suspended, I would've made money. The fact that you WERE suspended for your own actions, make it a non-issue...

Lee if you get suspended (which they can't really), you should go to the show anyway. And in the stands do an impromptu posing routine during the show. It would bring down the house. You would be plastered everywhere in every magazine. You would immeditely be the hero

Whether he deserves it or not...

Lee is one of the biggest names in BB right now. His name recognition is huge compared to most. He doesn’t even have to place in the top of the O and he will still be one of the most well known names in BB. It's pretty amazing if you ask me. And no, its not because hes a "bad boy" or because he stirs shit on getbig. It's much more than that. People who barely know 3-4 pro bodybuilders know who Lee Priest is. Supplement companies know this, the IFBB knows this. He has a huge fan base.

This will be interesting to say the least.

You have to remember if they suspend Lee, Lee will sue. He has showed he does what he says he will do. Unlike other pros. And no matter what Lee will win with an out of court settlement. The IFBB is one of the most crooked organizations on the planet and they promote drug use. Do you think they want to be in a courtroom. HELL NO!. But if I was I would reject any offer and make sure they go to court. Oh my what news that would be. Bye Bye IFBB.

I think the whole crux of the argument will be wether or not the rules are actually enforceable and in what way have they enforced such rules in the past,not to mention the open interpretation of the rules and the fact they stipulate no specifics per say to act upon !!

This is all happening in the great ol' US of A....and the whole world knows that anything is possible in America!Many think Lee will be banned from the 'O'(IFBB)...i think not.He's too much of an asset to lose....especially since a lot of the pros you see these days dont display a respectable/appealing physique like Lee does.So to kick Lee out would just reduce the number of good marketable pro bodybuilders in the IFBB stable.Just my two cents.

Bear with me on this...

Lee supports the fledgling PDI by competing in their first show....

The IFBB then fines/expels/suspends Lee for doing so...

Then the whole IFBB top brass are eligible to be fined/expelled/suspended...

...doesn't fining/expeling/suspending a top name bodybuilder thereby forcing him to compete in the ONLY other pro bodybuilding federation also constitute supporting the PDI?
