The selection of IFBB officials.

As most people here know, the IFBB has a life president. Ben made sure no one could remove him from an office only he could fulfill. In the old days the IFBB appointed vice-presidents from around the world. These positions went to people who sold Weider products or who were known to the IFBB people. There were no elections for vice-presidents. Those vice-presidents often served as judges in important contests.

If guys like Weinberger are top officials in the IFBB then it seems it is business as usual. They select people who need validation and to wear that blazer they are loyal to the end. Candidates can't be dopes but they can't be too smart, either. Seems to me they are grooming Melvin G for a key role in that club.
