King Kamali out of the Olympia

[ Q ] You have chosen to sit out the Olympia, despite qualifying. What is your reasoning for this?
 
[ A ] This was a personal decision made after I consulted with Jim Manion, MuscleTech, and my family.

i guess he sees the writing on the wall. shari knows that standing on that stage, he will look absolutley ridiculous. muscletech probably told him if you show up and look like shit, you'll be cut and will have to move back into the basement.

Let's see - Johnnie Jackson gets a win at the Montreal Pro, and all the boards light up about is King Kamali.  King Kamali is known all over the world - even though he places ok, everyone around the world knows King Kamali. And we all talk about Muscletech. Damn - excellent advertisement for Muscletech.

King Kamali is not dumb - he knows he might place 12-15th at the Olympia. Get $4,000 for it. He chooses not to compete and Muscletech is ok with that - as now he will spend two days at the expo getting all of his fans to Muscletech for autographs and pictures. And they will come...

we make jokes about how Muscle Tech told him not to do it, but I will bet you almost anything that is who is telling him NO.  He has already proved multiple times(Europa being the latest version) that he thinks he looks good and is going in the right direction...WRONG!  Muscle Tech said "NAAAAAAAAHHHH"

The guy looked like a pro bodybuilder at the Montreal Pro.

Due to the timing of the Olympia, I think it's perfectly reasonable for him to take a pass this time.

I thought we were all well aware of Kamali not competing in the Olympia right after his qualifying as stated by Bob....I for one flamed him right when Bob said he wouldn't compete because Kamali knew he would be a complete joke compared to the other competators and that his qualifying was a gift.....No hypocrisy here...... ::)

People flame him because he does something smart like not compete at the olympia but also posts on his website stupid shit about how he's proved the haters wrong. 

And lets be straight here - to shari, anybody who makes even an objective comment that is correct is a hater. 

Thats why he's a knobjockey, not because Shawn Ray has his knickers in a twist about some stupid offhand comment he made years ago.
