All,

I would like to voice my displeasure at the suspension of Lee Priest. Our government and courts can not pick and choose which amendments to the constitution they do and dont follow. In this case you have made it obvious that while you do have a "rule book" that some rules matter and some don't. Your hypocrisy has forced me to cancel all magazine subscriptions and boycott the IFBB until I see all of this change. I may be only one person and its up to you if you choose to view me in that light.

Lee Priest decided to take a show not for any IFBB pro or to change. He did it to make fast buck knowing good and well that he could beat up on some amatuer bodybuilders. That's inexcusable in my opinion and he should have enough professionalism for himself and the sport of bodybuilding and not degrade the intergrity.

Lee, have fun watching REAL PROFESSIONALS WITH REAL COMPETITION COMPETE AT THE OLYMPIA....if you're even allowed in there

I guess my email was not very clear, I meant magazine subscriptions to Muscle and Fitness and Flex, I know the IFBB does not sell them. It is my own way of saying that I dont support this decision. Its not a financial impact to the IFBB but its saying that I care enough to give that up.

You can't enforce a punishment until after the appeal process is exhausted.

Bob made it very clear that the appeal wouldn't take place until AFTER that Olympia.

Yes you probably have to since that is where they are located. But, when you file suit it will be here. Lee I am really fired up on this. You can get allot done here with this. You need to get ahold of Rhino and see what his attorneys say. Rhino has the means to have some good legal advice. And another thing is until you have recieved the notice offically in written form then it means nothing. A phone call or interent post doesn't mean shit. A certified letter. When you file in your declaration you have to list why you suspension is not warranted. So you'll need to list the other sections the IFBB fails to uphold. I am notsure exactly how todo it but you have to include the tax situation with the IFBB and the US. They have gone decades without paying US taxes yet they make the majority of their money here and funnel it up to Canada. I am pretty sure the IRS andFederal government doesn't appreciate the IFBB making millions of dollars on the US soil and not paying taxes. And it will be great when their books have to be made public and an audit is done on their clothing line too. Dude yo got these guys by the balls now. DON"T LET GO

I always supported baseballs method of using an arbitrator to iron out issues of this kind. An independant arbitrator to hear both sides and rule accordingly. I know that wont happen in this case though...

No...he is suspended PENDING the hearing...that means he is suspended until he can appeal his case at the hearing on Oct. 17th.

That's as far as I can find language interrpreting this action...

As with many if not most IFBB Bodybuilders. Clifton Torres, Art Dylks, Batista, Freeman the list is longer than you know. Not everyone makes dime 1 through the IFBB, afterall even Chick refereed to them as 'independent contractors', how much support do you think the IFBB has for 'independent contractors". I stated in a post before that I'll gladly donate 100 bucks to any legal fund that goes to bat for Lee and Jabes. They've been thrown to the wolfs without a rep to support them. Would Ron start a fund, or just hang to the $$$ that we donate to the free Lee fund.

Interesting....I had no idea the IFBB had their offices in Pittsburgh. I am an Attorney in Pittsburgh and have many ties with the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Specifically, my Father does many Federal Suits involving anti-trust litigation. Given that we have both worked at the United States Attorneys Office, we know our way around the Federal Court system. I just saw chicks post that the ifbb sent him an official document, but he decided to let him know by way of a message board. Pick up the phone!!!!!! A message board, haha. I can imagine the baseball rep informing a player of their suspension on espn sports talk, lol.
