everyone seems to be riding Chick's jock pretty hard.  I believe he was just relaying a message.  I have a feeling that Lee was going to get suspended anyways...

but I wonder how much of this was just brought all upon himself to begin with.


I do feel Bob has loyalties to the IFBB....but I don't see him personally behind Lee's suspension but some of you are acting like he is.

Of course no one is willing to do what lee has done and that's stand on his own two feet and simply take a stand for what is RIGHT.  They (iFBB) does not pay them a salary, they have no right to deny anyone.  Some of these Bodybuilders can not even design their own diets and training program....they go to guys that never even done it before so we can't expect them to speak out.  Lee is unique...like arnold of his day.  lee should get some "IFBB, go f--- yourself"  shirts and sell them in front of the door and on his site...make some cash.

I dont agree with the fact that the IFBB prohibit an athlete to earn a living from entering an unsanctioned event but they have always made an example out of Lee. Remember when Joe gave him permission to sit out a show because he was ill and Wayne (you dont answer to him, you answer to me!) fined him $5000 for it!

Its like Dana white firing BJ Penn for fighting in another organisation. I dont see any change coming out of this, only long standing problems for all involved whether they give a shit or not.

Chick, I am normally a fan, but you are more and more looking like the IFBB rep and NOT the ATHLETE'S REP.  Starting this thread b4 Lee was notified is completely unprofessional, and really just unacceptable as a whole.  How would you like to be notified on a message board that all the athletes have now lost faith in you, and voted you out of your position?  (<----- bent over and takin it up the ass from Uncle Ben)  Not exaclty unlikely right now either I bet.


This is a sad day for the sport, and if you as the athletes rep, let alone being an athlete can't grasp that

The government doesn't regulate bodybuilding just like they don't regulate most sports. The few sports they have a big say in are the ones that receive government funding and use government owned facilities etc. The rest they don't care about trust me. They don't wanna get involved...

Lee can sue them but they have way more resources than he does and we all know what happens with law suits where one party is full of cash and one isn't...

End of the day the IFBB is an underground organisation. They are still just some dudes that hire a hall, print some posters, put on a bodybuilding show and pocket as much cash as they can.

End of the day they can say no to whoever they want... who is gonna stop them? they aren't regulated in ANY way...

The only way to bring the IFBB down is through their books... we all know they haven't paid the tax they should have...

The big names are likely going to want to stay out of this as this sport has always been about individuals. The top guys are doing very well and have nothing to complain about I don't think.

I agree Lee's suspension is garbage. It means nothing but that the IFBB is afraid of the PDI. If they are not, they would not care about its existence. This is clearly an indicator something is going on. I hope Lee does take them to court.

I don't know what sueing would do, but, if some kind of change could result from his intervention that would allow these guys to make more money, maybe they wouldn't be trying to kill themselves for one win a year and losing kidneys and doing questionable things for supplementary income.

Best of luck to you Lee, whether the other bodybuilders know it or not, you are benefiting them all and hopefully something will come of this. Everyone save the top guys can get something from this and I hope in the not too distant future things are a little more fair in the IFBB if it still exists.
