You realize that "Article 1.7" allows the IFBB to suspend or expell ANY bodybuilder for participating in a seminar that they don't give prior approval for?

Hmmm, so they can suspend EVERY pro bodybuilder right now and none of them would be able to argue...  :o

My point is they made it vague on purpose to give them leeway, BUT if Lee ever did take them to court over this, a clause like that could null the entire thing. Good thing for Lee.

The wording of that law/rule is so open for interpretation it is like a salad coriander !!!

This MUST mean that Steve Wannabigmacburger must due to get suspended as well for his attendance and support of a non sanctioned IFBB event !!!

You would think that they would given the opportunity to have an 'expedited' hearing before the O.

What is the point of waiting until after the O from Lee's stand point? The O is the biggest show in BB, Lee would need to take action ASAP in order to be eligible for it. It is possible to get a court injunction until after the O? Can a lawyer chime in on this?

Yes....it's not different than a "failure to appear".....it just means it could make matters worse....or if you appear.....protest their findings & win....the suspension may be lifted.

But I seriously doubt thats going to happen

I have done a few court injunctions in my time through bussines and I would suggest it is very possible, a court injunction puts a hold on all ruleings and/or subsiquent events untill as a time it can be sorted out in a court of law , thus everything stays "Status QUO" untill such a time a ruleing is made !!, thus lee would still be a viable member of the IFBB and be allowed to compete in the O !!

Get onto this lee ASAP , get a Canadian lawer/barrister and get him/her to court asap , probibly cost you around 2k odd for a injunction !!
