Of course, the athletes rep advised Lee not to compete in the show that got him suspended. Lee knew the possible consequences of his actions before going in. If Lee wishes to defend himself that should be his responsibility.

The IFBB is not a league, it's a federation...the Pro Division is, which is a part of the IFBB.
