Obviously you are not as you wouldn't have posted this !!

Any how what happened to the testing for Diuretics and such like that was made mandatory at Pro level??

And didn't BEN WEIDER make a international press statement that emphasised his commitment to Drug Testing to that of the same commitment that is required by the IOC ??

And why is it so that at Armature Level in the IFBB , Drug testing IS meant to implemented by its national affiliations , but not at pro level ??

Not that I am for testing , I'm just curious about all these double standards ??

From what I understand, WADA could at any time bring their test team into any show and demand every Pro to supply a doping test. If any Pro refuses to do so, that would be an automatic 24 month ban. If testing positive, also a 24 month ban. If testing positive for a stimulant, such as ephederine, they could get away with less, like 3-6 months.

This is the result of the agreement that Benny Weider signed. You would have to ask WADA directly why they don't test IFBB bodybuilders. Perhaps they don't know they can.

Ron

A question I'd like to see is for Jim Manion:

Why are the male bodybuilders allowed to hike up their trunks up their asses while the fitness women are not?

And also, how will we see that the "no-gut" judging guidelines are being followed?

Maybe you guys forgot to read the topic....

The questions are for the ATHLETES at the PRESS CONFERENCE, this will not be a platform for questions of politics, rules, regulations, etc...also, Jim Manion will not be sitting on the stage with the athletes to answer questions of this nature.

The Olympia, and the Press conference is all about the competitors, and the show itself.

Here we go again.

hvae you emailed Wayne and asked him?  Have you emailed any athletes and asked them?

Or is the spectacle of asking uninvolved people on message boards, just a tad more informative?

Here we go again, 240 makes his usual response to a question about the PDI.
Both yourself and Keith are involved in the PDI so a question directed to him is justified. You've both acted as information providers in the past so what's wrong now? Anything to hide? Aren't you concerned that the athletes have still not been paid?

Okay....    Q for any competitor:  "Do you think the Olympia would be better if Lee Priest were competing?  Why is he not competing, and what do you think of this?"

Ok, fine.

Question for Dex Jax: Given the winners of Mr Olympia the last 15 years, why are you here and competing this weekend?

Once again, it seems we have a failure to communicate...

It says, the IFBB CAN implement drug testing at it's discretion, it doesn't say they WILL test...

I'm done trying to educate you and Lee on the subject.

Because you cant the rules are bullshit just admit it.

No, this wwasn't the forum to be used last year, as I'M the one who came up with the forum. Robin put it in my hands, and didn't give me any guidelines.  There is a reason that we don't have promoters/ judges/ officials sitting up there... this isn't the place (as Wayne was so fond of saying)... If any of the athletes wish to get answers to these type of querstions, we have that forum set up... it's called the ATHLETES MEETING.

Overshadowing the athletes will not be tolerated...

once again we have convenient interpretation of the rules by noneother than a yes man.

Chick, read section 8.1 (policy statement)

As the IFBB clearly has no intention of enforcing this policy, why is it even in the rulebook if it is false?
answer - the rulebook is a lame attempt to look like a legit federation, while the ifbb arbitrarily does as it pleases

Two questions for Ronnie:

1. Who writes the columns and articles that are signed with your name in FLEX?

2. What do you feel you have accomplished as an representative for the bodybuilding community?

Follow-up question for Jay Cutler, Günter, Dex and Gustavo:

"And a question for Jay, Günter, Dexter and Gustavo:
Guys, how would you work to represent bodybuilding if you were to win tomorrow?

Bob's sounding mighty official there, huh? I wonder when they're going to be giving him his very own blue blazer? The AMI/IFBB establishment seems to trust him completely...   too bad the same can't be said of the athletes he "represents".  ::)

I loved how Triple H pwned that fat joke Gene Rychlak: "No, I think he's broke a spleen"

Normally not a fan of Hunter Hearst Helmsley, but that was funny.

RON ASK A PDI QUESTION DARE YOU. YOU YOURSELF HAVE TOLD ME THE IFBB AND THEM HAVE EVEN HAD WORDS TO YOU ABOUT PDI ON THE BOARD....TRUE  HUH RON.COME ON RON TELL EVERYONE HERE WHAT THEY SAID LIKE YOU TOLD ME.

If you don't you know me i will i am already suspended .Ron it's your site screw your press pass let them kick all the press out but admit they were and are pissed about pdi talk here and wanted it removed.

If they really tried to pressure Ron to censor PDI info or opinions on his board, that shows you just how pathetic the people running the IFBB really are!

What a crock of Shit !!

First last years set up was farcical as no one could ask any questions what so ever and the questions that you asked where totally staged under the watch full eye of Robin Chang!! So by your own admission last years joke of a press conference was your fault !!, and they have let you handle it again this year , boy good management !!

Secondly what possible questions could a athlete get answered at the athletes meetings , as you yourself do not have any answers or authority what so ever to deliver a answer as all questions have to be run past JM first , thats if he wants to listen !!, and how could a athlete get answers to questions when the individuals such questions should be directed at are not allowed in the Athletes meetings in the first place !!

It is all just a merry go round of bullshit relay isn't it !!

The press should have the freedom to ask those whom are involved in this event what ever question they wish , it then becomes the choice of the individual that is being asked if they wish to answer or not , but the reason this does not happen because if the press were allowed to ask the questions they wanted they would be kicked out most likely !!

Oh they did Ron told me on the phone the other day..He might not admit it due to the fact the IFBB and all monitor this site like the CIA over the middle east.

Jeez Chic you are like a little kid.  Please tell us all you really aren't that stupid.  Pleeeeeeeeeease tell us that.  Cause just about everytime you try to defend your boss you sound so stupid.  Either that or you think we are stupid.  At their "discretion".  That is simple symantics meaning why would they test since testing would ruin them.  They had to put some kind of testing rule to even get in the front door with the IOC.  I am pretty sure they probably told them they would testing and when the IOC found out they don't really test that is why they considered Weider and his proposal to be in the Olympics a bigger joke than they really are.

And what is Horton going to do for work.  Kevin I hope you have neighbors with pets.  At least you can pics of them.  Your job is getting shorter and shorter.

In all seriousness, what question could anyone ask (without being contraversial) that hasn't been asked before? the press conference will be as boring as batshit.

As you put it "there seems to be a failure to communicate."  The athletes meeting?  Do you tell the one gy who shows up everything and then tell them to tell everyone else.  Maybe when they are eating at the Firehouse.
