There are a lot of people that have a problem with DeMilia...If you don't think Paul Dilletts comments echo the sentiments of the overwhelming majority of Pro's...you would be gravely mistaken.
I've had my share of debates with Wayne, most notebly, that he didn't believe that athletes should get paid at the Olympia level...said so himself. I also took a huge burn to him calling and threatening athletes with their contracts, when I was trying to form a union for the guys...doesn't sound to me like a guy who claims to have the athletes best interest.
Yes, I have a publications contract with AMI.
Do I see it as a conflict of interest? No...why would I (or anyone else)...last time I checked, AMI and the IFBB were two different entities.
I couldn't tell you how many freebies were given to the military in 05...I can guarantee it didn't make up the majority of butts in the seats, as in the case of the NOC.
Any other questions?
BTW- The military givaways are in gratitude of the service they provide for the USA...big difference. You have a problem with it?
Do you mean the same Paul Dillett that Demilia saved a couple of times from sudden death (Paul should remember what happened backstage in NYC in 1998 Olympia)? And why Paul Dillett should be considered the common opinion of the IFBB athletes community?
Regarding your contract with AMI, I have been told that AMI is running the IFBB Mr Olympia and owns the former Weider publications M&F and Flex (Flex is the official IFBB magazine). As IFBB athletes' rep you have a contract with the company that runs the most important contest in the sport and the two of the most important magazines in bodybuilding. Is that perfectly correct for you?
I'm glad you show that great respect for our troops but please show some more respect for yourself and find a better excuse.
Enjoy yourself 'till you can...
