2010 IFBB/NPC Sacramento Pro Contest Info
The 2010 IFBB/NPC Sacramento bodybuilding, figure and bikini competition is going to be a good contest, with 190+ NPC Competitors, 14 IFBB Pro Bikini competitors, and 19 IFBB Men’s Bodybuilding 202lbs and under competitors.
The event will be held at the Crest Theatre, 1013 K Street, Sacramento, CA 95814, and the Host Hotel is the Courtyard Sacramento Airport Natomas, 2101 River Plaza Drive, Sacramento, CA 95833
All NPC Check-In’s are at the Host Hotel from 2 to 9pm on Friday, November 5th. NPC Bodybuilders may also check in on Saturday, November 6th at 8:15am in the morning at the Crest Theater.
IFBB Women’s Bikini Check in is at 6pm Friday evening at the Host Hotel. IFBB Men’s 202 and Under is at 6:30pm Friday evening at the Host Hotel.

2011 NPC Men’s Physique – Rules & Guidelines
Here we go, the latest information about the NPC Men’s Physique Division, starting in 2011. Beginning in 2011 a new division for men will be introduced – Men’s Physique. The following are the guidelines/rules.
Judging Criteria:
* Muscularity and Body Condition: Judges will be looking for fit contestants who display proper shape and symmetry combined with muscularity and overall condition. This is not a bodybuilding contest so extreme muscularity should be marked down.
* Stage Presence and Personality: Contestants will be asked to walk in board shorts (shorts must be just above the knee in length and can be one inch below the belly button, no spandex and no logos are permitted on the board shorts however a manufacturer’s logo such as Nike symbol or Billabong are acceptable. Competitors will enter the stage without a shirt and barefoot. No lewd acts are allowed. Example: The moon pose. Judges are looking for the contestant with the best stage presence and poise who can successfully convey his personality to the audience.
COMPETITION JUDGING
Presentation:
* Competitors will walk to the center of the stage alone and perform quarter (1/4) turns with optional pose of hand on hip or hand in pocket, face the judges as directed then proceed to the side of the stage.
Comparison Round:
* The competitors will be brought back out in a group and directed to do quarter turns
* Judges will have the opportunity to compare competitors against each other in quarter turns.
Promoters can choose to have one class or two. For contests with two classes:
* Up to including 5’8”
* Over 5’8”
National level contests do not permit competitors to crossover into Bodybuilding. All other competitions are permitted to have crossovers at the discretion of the promoter with district chairperson’s approval.
Who Qualifies for National Level Men’s Physique Competitions:
Competitors that place in the top five (5) in each class at national qualifying contests will have a one year qualification for national level events.
Note: For 2011 a place in the top five (5) of any Men’s Physique contest will qualify you for national level contests.

* NPC JUNIOR USA CHAMPIONSHIPS – Top 2 placers in the overall comparison earn IFBB Pro Card
* NPC JUNIOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS – Top 4 placers in the overall comparison earn IFBB Pro Card
* TEAM UNIVERSE – Height class winners earn IFBB Pro Card
* NPC USA CHAMPIONSHIPS – Height class winners earn IFBB Pro Card
* IFBB NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS – Top 2 placers in the overall comparison earn IFBB Pro Card

2010 NPC National Bodybuilding Championships
One week to go as we are heading to the 2010 NPC National Bodybulding, Figure and Bikini Championships. This year, the event is being held in Atlanta, Georgia, at the Centennial Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
Schedule of events for the fans are as follows: On Friday, Oct 15, at 4:30pm, the Men’s Bodybuilding and Women’s Bikini prejudging will occur. On Saturday, Oct 16, at 8am, the Women’s Bodybuilding and Figure prejudging will occur. On Saturday, Oct 16, at 6:30pm, all the finals will occur.
Prejudging tickets for Friday evening are $50 each. Prejudging tickets for Saturday are $35 each. Final tickets are $125 and $75.

2010 Olympia Weekend After Party
From Jason Dhir –> At 11pm on Saturday night September 25th, history will be made… The doors to HAZE nightclub will open to hold the first ever Official Olympia Party. The Olympia weekend has set the standard for the industries trade shows/competitions bringing in Hollywood celebrities, over the top entertainment and hundreds of pro athletes and models from around the globe. Hence, in order to bring a MEGA-Party such as this to Vegas (similar to what I do annually every March in Columbus, Ohio), there is ultimately only one site on the Vegas strip that can contain this Massive Mastodon of Mega and that is at HAZE Night club located at Aria Hotel/Resort.
This will be a new standard in Olympia After-Parties and is held at one next level location. I am not talking about a wine and cheese affair at a hotel welcoming room nor a half assed hot or not after party. I am talking an upper echelon, pinch me I am dreaming, reality check party… so fasten your seatbelts
2010 IFBB Detroit BB and Bikini Results
No question Stan McQuay was looking like he is going to do very well next weekend at the 2010 Olympia 202lb and Under Bodybuilding Contest with his overall win here, swaying all the judges! Daryl Gee, another incredible competitor was second, with third place going to Tricky Jackson. Mark Dugdale was just shy with 4th place, and PD Devers placed 5th in his first IFBB Pro contest after turning pro a month ago.

Two more rookies came to Detroit for the last IFBB Pro Bikini contest to qualify for the 2010 Olympia, and they both garnered the top spots. Noemi Olah from Hungary blew away the competition, and could be a very serious contender for the top six at the Olympia next week. Christy Merritt also wowed the judges, and Dina Al-Sabah, after improving at each contest, garned the last qualifying spot for the Bikini Olympia. Congratulations! Davana Medina, on her first pro contest as a bikini competitor, placed 5th, still a little too muscular but quite impressive.

2010 IFBB Mr. Europe Men’s BB Pro Results
Ronny Rockell dominated in the first Mr. Europe contest two weeks out before the 2010 Olympia. Top three get to go to the Olympia. Ronny and DJ were already qualified, so that left Francisco ‘Paco’ Bautista in 3rd with the qualification and trip to Vegas. Here are the results:

2010 IFBB Tournament of Champions Pro Bikini Results
Sonia Gonzales is the queen of California, winning another IFBB Pro Bikini contest here in Culver City (the first one was the Musclecontest.com back in March). With two weeks left for the first Bikini Olympia, Sonia looks to dominate, albiet Amanda Latona, Ali Rosen and Nathalia Melo might beat her there.
Also, two rookie IFBB pros debuted here, and both Brook Mora and Anca Marcus won the right (and will be) to compete at the Bikini Olympia in two weeks. Wow! Congratulations! Zhanna Roar and Dina Al-Sabah each were one point difference from Anca. Look for Dina to go to Detriot to compete in the last IFBB Pro Bikini contest for the O.
