There was never any question if Branch Warren would win this contest. The question was if Branch Warren would take it easy from his impressive win at the 2012 Arnold Classic, or stay in shape and impress. Well, he stayed in shape, coming to Melbourne in incredible shape and impressive many down under.
2011 IFBB Australian Pro Figure Results
Erin Stern vs. Nicole Wilkins. Nicole beat Erin at the 2012 Arnold Classic, and two weeks later, Erin came back strong, defeating and defending her Australian pro title. Congratulations to Erin, and setting up an other epic battle for the 2012 Olympia. Here are the results.
Olympia Qualification Series Announced by the IFBB Pro League
Something had to happen. Last year, during and before the Olympia, it was realized that way too many competitors were being qualified to the best and most elite contest of the year, resulting in 28 competitors just in bikini alone on stage. And crowding what should have been just the top 15-18 competitors only.
2012 IFBB Musclecontest Pro Bikini Results
Sonia Gonzales, after winning the 2012 Bikini International a week ago in Columbus, Ohio, came back into her hometown state by storm, and continued her winning ways. Justine Munro, who injured herself a week ago in Columbus, and was unable to compete, looked great and placed second, while Narmin Assria continued to improve her physique, and placed third here in Torrance, California.
IFBB appoints Dan Solomon to the IFBB Press Commision
Dan Solomon, creator of the popular radio internet show, Pro Bodybuilding Radio, has been appointed to the IFBB Press Commission. Congratulations Dan! Dan’s role will be to help bring out information and news to help out Dr. Rafael Santonja worldwide bodybuilding initiatives.

Three IFBB Shows were held in Mesa, Arizona at the 2012 IFBB Desert Muscle Classic. A total of 4 competitors competed in the Men’s Pro Bodybuilding, 6 in Bikini, and 11 in the first ever Women’s Physique Pro contest. Here are the results.

Jay Cutler has bicep surgery – will be back for the 2012 Olympia
We all knew that there was an issue with Jay Cutler’s bicep from the 2011 Olympia on stage, and perhaps, that issue a few weeks before the contest caused him to not fully train correct, especially in the crucial last two weeks. This week, Jay Cutler had bicep surgery, and his recovering quite nicely. We all wish you the very best Jay!
2012 IFBB Flex Pro Fitness Results – Adela Garcia on a roll
Is there no stopping this champion? Wherever Adela enters a contest, she continues to dominate and win! With two weeks left for the 2012 Arnold, Adela had no competition here as the judges rewarded first places in both the swimsuit and the routine portions of the contest. It also means that under the new rules placed with the IFBB that no one from the contest is eligible for the 2012 Fitness Olympia, except Adela (who already qualified). Here are the results.
2012 IFBB Flex Pro Bodybuilding Results – Lionel Beyeke wins
The weather was beautiful here in Santa Monica, and Lionel Beyeke, who was on the cover of the February issue of Flex Magazine, was the favorite coming into the contest. He did not disappoint, dominating with his muscularity, and although not 100% conditioned, managed to win first place, and rightfully so. Ben Pakulski and Fouad Abiad were battling for second, and while Found was ahead of Ben after prejudging, finals do matter! Ed Correa was the most conditioned in the contest, but placed 5th, to the dismay of quite a few people. Here are the results.

Champion Nutrition’s Spokesperson Contest down to the ‘Final Six’
Champion Nutrition was looking for a spokesperson for their company, a person that will be contracted with them, head to the Arnold Classic, Olympia and a few other events, and perhaps be in some ads and more. So instead of just looking quietly, they asked people if they were interested by placing their picture and small profile on their Facebook page.
