IFBB PBW Championships Contest in Tampa – Aug 11th – Competitor Lists
The 2012 IFBB PBW Championships will be held in Tampa, Florida on August 10-11th. Here is more information, and the IFBB competitors that are slated to compete in five IFBB contests. Also with this event is the NPC Tim Gardner Tampa Extravaganza contest.
Generation Iron – a new bodybuilding docudrama coming soon
American Media Inc. has partnered with writer/director Vlad Yudin and producing partner Edwin Mejia of the Vladar Company to produce and direct a bodybuilding docudrama titled, Generation Iron. They will follow the world’s top seven bodybuilders as they fight to bring home the 2012 Mr. Olympia title.
2012 NPC USA’s in Las Vegas July 27-28th – Mens Competitors
Over 800 competitors will be competing at the 2012 NPC USAs in Las Vegas on July 27th-28th. Prejudging begins on Friday at noon for Men’s Bodybuilding, followed by Women’s Bodybuilding, Women’s Physique and Bikini. Prejudging for Men’s Physique and Figure will be on Saturday morning. 2012 Olympia prize money reaches $900,000!
A staggering $900,000 is up for grabs at Joe Weider’s 2012 Olympia Fitness and Performance Weekend, plus a special surprise in store for next year. America Media Inc. (AMI) and the IFBB Pro League, producers of the Olympia weekend are thrilled to announce that the prize money for this year’s event has been increased to $900,000.

2012 Olympia expo DOUBLES in size – wow!
Last year, the expo booths sold out, and a lot more vendors wanted to come and enjoy the experience of the greatest bodybuilding competition in the world. This year, they will get a chance to, as the 2012 Olympia is going to double the area of the expo floor. We can’t wait. Here is the official press release.
NPC National Vice President / NJ State Chairman John Kemper passes away
R.I.P. John Kemper, who passed away on June 13th, 2012. He was the NPC National Vice-President, the NPC New Jersey State Chairman, an NPC Promoter, an NPC/IFBB Judge, and the creator of The World Famous Diamond Gym, New Jersey. Today is truly a sad day, and we all offer our condolences to his family.

One of the most prestigious contests in California, the NPC California bodybuilding, figure, physique and bikini contest, is headed to the Veterans Auditorium in Culver City this Saturday, May 26th.
