We're so irrelevant that you had to comment in this thread.

He's so irrelevant that his book went to number 1 on New York best seller list and Amazon.

We're so irrelevent that Neveda wont reconvene it's state convention just so it wont allow to send the winning Ron Paul delegates, (because we're no threat appearantly  ::))

We're so irrelevant that we still get media coverage, probabaly more than ever.

Ron is so irrelavant that traders cheer his name when he questions the federal reserve chairman.

Beach Bum thinks that people who take office shouldnt have to adhere to the constitution while those  of us that think they should are "CT'ers".

Beach Bum is an idiot.

Irrelevant meltdown.   ::)

BTW, here is Ron Paul begging you CT nuts to leave him alone.

As far as this presidential race, which is what this is all about.

Ron Paul is irrelevant

As far as a voice in politics and a voice of ideas and principles:  Ron Paul is relevant.

Ding.  He never had a shot to win the nomination.  But give him a spot to speak at the convention, put him in someone's cabinet, etc.

"As far as a voice in politics and a voice of ideas and principles:  Ron Paul is relevant. "

Yep.  Our gov needs to get back to more constitutionalism.  RP's voice and ideas are needed now more than ever.  The neocon republicans make me want to back away from the party too.  But Obama's quasi-socialist and far left views are in vast contrast to the foundations of our country.

Some of RP's supporters are somewhat fanatical but look at some of the people who are backing Obama.
The more people that recognize RP's message, the more powerful that collective voice is in changing politics in this country.  Will it happen...I don't know...but why stop trying.

Ding.  He never had a shot to win the nomination.

A lot of people didn't have a shot to win the nomination, but remain relevant.

For example....Richardson had no chance, but he might have the exposure and ability to now tip his state new mex to the repubs in the fall, which means Obama could lose both ohio AND florida, and still win the nomination.

I'm a RP fan.

if there is anything to like about ron paul is that he isn't mainstream. If the horde is going one way you should go in the opposite direction. It's amazing how people have been molded and how passive they are.

I don't think anyone called Ron Paul irrelevant.  He simply isn't and never was a bona fide threat to win the Republican nomination for president.

I like the man and I like many of his positions on issues.  I've previously outlined where I agree and disagree with him:  http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=192426.0

But some of the hype was just ridiculous.  His inability to make any movement in the polls was blamed on a media conspiracy.  His failure to perform well at debates was blamed on a media conspiracy.  The lack of sufficient media coverage was blamed on a media conspiracy.  These arguments now make sense, because a number of his supporters believe that "bombs hit the WTC and Pentagon" nonsense.

FOX news kept him out of it, yet invited Fred Thompson, who had preformed more poorly than RP in every primary before then.

No, theres no attempt to shut him up there, it's just our imagination that he wasnt invited to that debate, after all he was only beating other candidates in delegates at the time.  ::)

yeah, remember how sean hannity would SCOFF whenever he mentioned RP's name?

remember when RP kept winning those online FOX debate polls ("who won?") so he accused the voters of 'stacking', but never would explain what he meant?

I think it has less to do with fanatics than it has to do with urgency.

How long do we have to go through the same motions and hope for a different result? How many times do we have to have the same dirt bags in office before the nation wakes the fuck up? How many times do we have to explain the same shit over and over again until people understand that the machine running their economy isnt  even a legal entity and the people making domestic and foriegn policies are corrupt criminals helping their own? How much patience can a person have?

Bindare, I agree with ya.

I remember one debate where Ron was trying to speak and the moderator just cut him off and kept direction the questions to McCain and Romney.  It was really unprofessional.  He basically implied that McCain & Romney were the only relevant voices on stage.

RP isn't a strong orator...he's probably not the best leader...but many of his words/ideas are just so important in setting this country in a better direction again.  We can't forget him or his constitutionalist movement.  The republican and democratic parties just seem to drift farther and farther away from the middle (and reason).

That was the CNN deabate with that fuck wit Anderson Cooper, who wouldnt let RP answer a question and ignored him, yet BB thinks we imagine this stuff.

If RP was given an hour to speak like his counterparts were at that debate or any other instead of a whole 6 minutes he might have had a chance to explain himself much better. Thats the problem with the world today, everyone wants  answers to complex questions in 30 seconds or less.

Other than that I agree with you.

Question:  Do you think there is a conspiracy among the media or by the companies that control the media to limit RP exposer so that his message doesn't get out?

Or do you think that the american people are just so numb to politics in general that they don;t care?

Or do you think that the american people are just to dumb to see the wisdom in what RP is saying?

Or do you think that the American people are conditioned by the media and political propaganda machines that they can no longer recognize good sense?

It doesnt matter what i think the facts speak for themselves.

Was he or was he not invited to the Fox debate?

Which two candidates had over an hour to speak at the Regan debate and which one had 6 minutes? Look at the transcripts for yourself, I doubt you will.

Are you going to tell me that the media is always unbiased and have never had an agenda?

Heres a video of Fox News execs discussing Ron Paul supporters.

Heres a video that was censored and taken off Fox's second airing on TV, gee I wonder why they didnt show this scene on TV? Listen to the debate, nothing about the issues just constant attacks all night and stupid questions.

Your one to talk, you get owned with the same information you post to try and support your claims and then you back peddle and dance around the issue more than a go go dancer.

So those facts don't speak for other possible reasons?
