I train with decent intensity, to be honest.

When I was younger and a delusional natural (most likely your affliction) I would train like a fucking maniac. Now I have the shoulders of an 80 year old and tendinitis in the elbows, but thats life. Playing sports didnt help either.

If I could attain the same development with 45's that I could with 100's on any given exercise, you bet your ass I would be picking up 45's.

I'm not delusional. I know I can't get the same results as a roid user. But I believe my genes a decent and I am happy with the size I attained naturally. Don't even wanna look like a bber. My goal is only strength. And I like that challange of what I can do naturally. Goal is 315x 8 on the bench. 360 for a single. 600 deadlift and 550 squat. Not too far off right now.

But you know what. There is also something called positive delusion. When I was a delusional kid and followed flex and other mags and internet articles I got better results than following shitheads on getbig. aim for the stars reach treetops. that sorta thing.

flex is exaggerated alot of times but gb is also. getbig fucks with your mind. too many know-it-alls here and people trying to reinvent the wheel. that is all.

ever stop to think 'the wheel' is wrong?

the best I've ever looked was on 150-200g protein a day. most days I'm lucky to get 150.

the 'you need x amount of protein' is the biggest myth perpetrated in bodybuilding.

sounds like MAXX is a real monster.  ::)

at 10% you have full abs...

are you a little low at the bodyfat estimate?

Im at 13 and I dont have abs. Just an outline in good lighting.

Im not the one throwing down 300gms of protein a day and making the samre gains as someone on 100-150gms.

there's alot of naturals making good gains. look at Layne Norton. Better stats than you at the same height and natural.

Protein requirements for lifters are phony put out their by magazines and their protein advertisers.

I took protein shakes for decades. Every positive gain I made I would attribute to hard work and those shakes. I always had stomach problems even using the best whey isolate.  I finally gave it up. At first I blamed every bad training cycle on not having whey protein. Then when I made gains I realized it was just a placebo effect from me buying into the snake oil pitch. Every real scientific study I have seen never gave me proof you need a gram of protein or even half that to stay in positive nitrogen retention.

While not bodybuilders of course but Kenyan marathoners who brutally punish their body with 15 to 30 mile runs every day eat about 40 grams of protein a day.  If someone can show me a real study where it proves a 200lb lifter should have 150 to 200 grams of protein I would like to see it. Don't show me a phony Bulgarian study put out for review by a supplement company.

Since I stopped using creatine and protein powder I have never felt so good. Instead of crapping mush I have real nice logs now.

my target calories are 2960 my actual are 2897

broken down as follows

carbs 370

fats  33

protein 148

I will add a protein shake into this to bring me up to 188

I am more or less following this diet every day now
