thats because football is a real sport and you do 225 x 3 reps2 reps actually, so that means i should be able to do like 300 for a single, hahahaha.
One doesnt equate the other by any means...the payload get much heavier, very quickly the higher you get to 500. I remember being able to get 485 like it was nothing, but took me the longest time to get to 500.
You would think a lousy 15 lbs. isnt much...but when you're already pushing the envelope...it might as well be 100 lbs.
There is a reason records get beat by 1/4 lb. increments, etc....
i'm getting sick and tired of seeing these piss ant high school and college players saying the follwing, "well, i did 37 reps with 225 so that means i could do 500 for a single" hahahaha, yeah right, Ronnie Coleman does 79 reps with 225 and he barely got 4 reps on his own with 500 on his video, i'm sick of these clowns on ESPN and the NFL network pumping these players up to be more than they are.
WE are not talking about those nice comfy fancy machines there chick. ;)
"WE"??
Please bro...the only time you've seen 500 is when you paid your last "date"....
Funny thing is I would totally destroy you in the gym wether you're on or off. hahahaDon't get silly now the guy is a pro

A good analogy is it takes like 400 hp to propel a car 150 mph. To get the same car to 170 mph takes 800 hp.
Give or take,I read an article about this a long time ago so I'm not 100% on the data
Listen you Borat-looking MF.....there aint but two things I could learn from you...JACK and SHIT.
I figured you MIGHT be mentally challenged before...now I'm sure of it.

You're exactly right (Well, not exactly... You really don't need 800hp)
However, stereo wattage would be perfect. To get twice the amount of sound (loudness only) from a 500 Watt Stereo, you would need a 5000 Watt stereo, not a 1000 watt stereo.. it is more along the lines of a factor of 10.

I knew someone with a big brain would come along and tell me my numbers were off ;D
I've done 315 for 2 reps. So that would mean if I was juiced like Chikyboy I would be doing 600 pound free weight bench presses. That is more then Levrone or any other bodybuilder.
A truth that isn't undeniable.

Or a chain hoist, maybe.
i think you just got a doubled-negatived owning

Keep it up and he might give you an autographed picture of his nuts.

That's not at all what I wasn't disagreeing with. Pay attention.
Funny thing is I would totally destroy you in the gym wether you're on or off. hahahahahahahaha, delusional post of the century.
At the time I did 500 for 1, I did about 55 really quick reps with 220 (100kg), with a bit of a bounce on the last few. Maybe 40 real clean reps.hahahahaha, another internet 500 pound bencher. ::)
hahahahaha, another internet 500 pound bencher. ::)
i've never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever claimed to bench 500, i can't even do 400, now you're the one who claims to bench 525 looking like you weigh 190, let's see the pics of that.
HEY SQUADFATHER, DID YOU EVER MADE THAT VIDEO OF YOU BENCHING 500LBS?
40-45 225lb reps= 500lb benchbullshit, 40-45 reps with 225= 405 for a single.
i've never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever claimed to bench 500, i can't even do 400, now you're the one who claimes to bench 525 lloking like you weigh 190, let's see the pics of that.

bench shirts are for lazy bitches.
bullshit, 40-45 reps with 225= 405 for a single.
You personally must have never benched 225. If you can bench 225 25-30 times you can press 405 pretty easy. Moron!i've never seen it, the last time i did reps with 225 i got 24 and i can only bench a very, very hard 380, every other guy who did comparable reps with 225 did almost the same as me.

I know jeramy freeman can bench 500 for about 10 reps.
he told me he could get 225 for around 70-80 reps if he trained for it.
he got like 54 reps at the gakic contest....he strained his pec on rep 15 but kept going.....he had to stop before muscular failure
Differentiate between the two, please. Because it sounds like you're saying that you can bench as much without as with the shirt. I'm not criticizing, but there's NO WAY that 500 raw = 500 with a shirt.
lol....actually bench shirt doesn't make you stronger. it assist you with the poundages.

lol....actually bench shirt doesn't make you stronger. it assist you with the poundages. I don't think the world class benchers who use shirts are lazy at all. If you've been to a competition, it'll make more sense to you
Bench shirt is like having someone help you with the lift, the force you get from the bottom is extreme. I've only used single ply as I'm competing in the IPF. IF you use double ply I cant imagine the force you get.
u can't really compare the 2 lifts. 2 totally different muscle fibers and energy systems are required for a high rep bench and a single.
This is one of the dumbest arguments I've seen in a while...there is NO equation of reps=max rep.
This would be like a sprinter taking his time in the 100 meters, and trying to translate it into how fast he would run the mile....
i hope you all know that doing 20 reps at a certain weight will NEVER guarantee a few reps at a much higher weight.
If you've done your homework you know that there are slow twitch fibers and fast twitch fibers in everyone's muscle composition. One helps with high-reps/ endurance-type movements, and the other for heavy lifts. Everyone has a different makeup of these fibers so you can never safely say that one lift is proportional to the other.
someone like lance armstrong could probably squat 135 pounds for an hour without end, because he has that type of leg endurance (muscle fiber type) but he probably wouldnt be able to crack 4 decent reps with 225. Just because he is more inclined to high-intensity/endurance type movemnts than short bursts of strength.
i know that there are type a and tybe B fibers (in the slow twitch)
and only one kind of fast twitch. but all im sayin is that you can never know unless you do it! stop with the freakin charts and equations and "probably"...do it...and you will know.
ahhh! tired of typing this shit!
What is the secret to your legendary strength? How can a human be able being mimmik a walking stick figure? What secrets do you possses for waxing the head?
haha if you throw on a wig people will mistake you for a mop.
Took you some time. You deleted and reposted those pictures of your fantasies three times.. so that would classify an owning in itself.
Maybe next time you could crop my face on a naked dude so you could keep it on the background.
adain I am just going to let you keep dreaming..
This is one of the dumbest arguments I've seen in a while...there is NO equation of reps=max rep.NO equation? What a bunch of BS. Take a poll of 10 500lbs benchers and ask them how many reps they can get with 225... how many do you think do less than 20 reps for example? Not one.
I did 2 tough reps today with 135. Decided to put on some more weight and cranked 3 easy ones with 600.
I was like funking yeah.

I'd say all of them will be doing at least 40 even of they NEVER trained for high reps. Not everyone does the same amount of reps with 225 of course, but there is a range in which they fall and it's not 10 or 20 reps that's for sure.
I did 34 reps with 225 lbs (bench press) ,my bodyweight was 190 lbs , and I did 3 reps with 405 lbs (using blast t-shirt), I know it's no too much ...bullshit.
alexx benches 315 for 2 solid reps ahahahahahahah keep dreaming, ive seen your pic, you cant bench more then 190 for 1 rep, on your good day
He's right. I can honestly admit I'm around the same level as alexxx (unfortunately) but anyway, I bench around 190 for 5 or 6 reps
yeah....i'm a monster
lol you're no where near me.heres the great champion helping a youngster up their benchpress.............. .
heres the great champion helping a youngster up their benchpress.............. .
He looks very proud of sarcasm.
Here some more intense shots from that workout.................
lol you're no where near me.
sarcasm needs to pull his elbows in
when you exaggerate your lifting numbers, you need to at least be realistic...no one is going to believe that you can bench 315
I always write my real numbers. If you are weak and small you only have yourself to blame.
post a video or pics
My pics have been posted thousands of times on this forum.
yeah, because elbows out won't build a big chest....
