Well now we got it down to $150,000 a year from $300,000. We are getting more real numbers now. You can lease cars for $300 a month anywhere. You got credit and a down payment and you can lease anything you want. I still dont see Sean making $150,000 legally. But then SquadFatter gets by on no job, no money and a rented trailer, so anything is possible.

He doesn't do anything. I'd say after some kind of residuals that he might get, a training session here and there, etc. he'd make around 60k a year pre taxes.

But does somebody go and ask you what you make? Does it make a difference? Respect is respect, and the ones that do well are the ones that are businessmen in this day and age and go for the endorsement deals, not the ones who assume that things will just come to them.

there is no way in hell Shawn is making 150,000. He prob gets 2,000 grand for this moderator status, 2k from md. so 4,000 grand total. so i put him around 48,000 dollars a year. i do not think Vyotec is paying him shit right now, and no other income. His stint with MD will probl be only for a few years, so he may be broke/unemployed in a few short years...

It is a personal question. What does it matter how much somewhat makes? People can live off whatever they make.
Some teachers make $40K a year and are happy with what they do and earn? Life isnt all about money, money, money. Satisfaction, enjoyment, fulfillment - all help. Hell, I know people who make over a million a year, and are not happy at all. Wish they could go back to the times that they had it easier, less stress, less complications. So it is all what you make out of it.
And I also know a lot of people who make $30-$40K a year, and enjoy life. True, they can't get a lot of the ammenities, but the basics - rent, food, clothes is being met. Strive to enjoy life, save, and keep your health.

Zabo used to ask, "Where is the pot of gold from bodybuilding?" Some entrepreneurs made money. Jones, Arnold, and the supplement kings. Most bodybuilders made very little. Gyms are a high investment, low return competitive business. Good luck to anyone who can make a profit in bodybuilding.

but as Ron said, it's not all about money. IMO, if you start doing anything purely for the money you're unlikely to ever reach the pinnacles of financial success in that game. On the other hand, those who achieved great financial success out of sport hardly ever thought about money when started

Factor out taxes (remember these guys are self-employed, so they foot the employer portion of payroll taxes as well), drugs and other business expenses, and the ridiculous cost of living out there, and it's like a guy making $50k in many other cities. Not terrible, but hardly living large, and when these guys retire in a few years, no more income. Ronnie Coleman may not be a rocket scientist, but at least he was smart enough to live in Dallas while raking in the big bucks.

I invest most of my profits back into the business and an IRA and only take out what I need to get by.
I intend to retire by age 40 so don't have to work all my life. Eventually, I'll move to Pigeon Forge, TN, buy a nice cabin, and just fish and play golf.

Oh yea. That's why I moved back to NC near Cherokee. Cost of living is much less and I make a killing selling supplements at local flea markets and my online business isn't affected. My car insurance is 200.00 every 6 months with two vehicles and I only pay $108 every 6 months for my gym membership. I have a nice home with 2 acres of land and I'm not crammed into some POS apartment. I plan on buying about 10 acres and a cabin in Pigeon Forge in a few years.
The air is clean and there's no pollution like Cali or NYC and there is virtually no traffic around here to fool with in the morning, noon, or night. No crime neither, you can leave your doors unlocked if you want to.
If I want to go out for the weekend, Atlanta, GA is only an hour away, due to the location and Pigeon Forge, TN is 30 miles away over the Smoky Mountains. Oh yeah, since I like next to Cherokee. I can head down there if I wanted to play some Blackjack at Harrahs and take in a show. Can't beat that my friends
I say to all those who are tired of the run around in the city and high cost of living. Pack your stuff up and move to the South.
