I mean ZERO...what is your record?
I am 2 and a half weeks in and going to stretch it till the end of the week...weekend will carb load...big time....

about 6 weeks, it's the people I killed with my nasty ass breath that I pity.
It works but it is, imo, unnecessarily extreme.

That's the thing...for a fat fuck like me I need it....will be introducing once a week carb loading days....seriously I can't drop fat on anything but low carb or zero carb, zero carb is best....

Began eating veggies, fruit and low fat dairy. Felt better instantly and have found that the main culprit for me has been starches..I have maintained a low bodyfat by walking a lot and eating much less starch/grains. My main starch source is bananas and I eat them before and after exercise..

Began eating veggies, fruit and low fat dairy. Felt better instantly and have found that the main culprit for me has been starches..I have maintained a low bodyfat by walking a lot and eating much less starch/grains. My main starch source is bananas and I eat them before and after exercise..
So no oatmeal for you I take it?

I think around 3 weeks, I feelt shit nearly sick.
But than again, I tend to brush my teeth at least 3-4 times every day... soooooo quit some carbs there.

probably a better idea to lower overall caloric intake, throw in some ECA and do AM cardio
zero carbs is unnecessary unless you are going on stage

Ohne veggies is das net gut... Verdauung muss passn - was nuetzt das ganze Eiweiss und Fett wenn du die goodies wieder einfach rausscheisst?
Zumindest 1 Eissalatkopf pro Tag - du kannst um die 50g KH bleiben ohne die Ketose zu brechen.

Ja, beschissen drauf bin ich eigentlich immer zur Zeit, so eine Mischung aus Schlafentzug und voellig entleerten Glykogenspeichern....

With my shitty genetics...it is necessary...I have used ECA in the past...now that I am over 30 I don't want to anymore...

Ja, beschissen drauf bin ich eigentlich immer zur Zeit, so eine Mischung aus Schlafentzug und voellig entleerten Glykogenspeichern....
But than again, I don;t think I go totaly without carbs, I deffiantly lower my carbs to a level most normal people wouldn't do, but my diet contains mostly out of Salads from the Company Salad bar (the Companies Canteen is extremly health driven).
Of course these Salads don't contain any sugar, but there is the odd low fat mayo and other things I believe contain a little Carbs.
However I ahve lost 6 kilos since 2 month so I know I'm doing good.
Again I have fucked up a little by not taking enough fats, Sexdrive is a little down but I started again to take 2 table spoon Flaxseed oil, Natural Almond Butter (without breat of course) and Fishoil in the evening.

Drink a gallon of water per day, gets rid of keto-breath.

Last week my shit was so rock hard in consistency it clogged the can.... :-\

Zero carb seems excessive, you can stay in keto with about 20g of carbs a day. Which would be a bit healthier.
Buy keto sticks and find out what puts you out and what doesn't.

I am eating less, between 1300 and 1800 calories a day AND I am doing cardio 3 times a week....

I tried it, but the insulin spike after my morning brushing of the teeth nearly made me faint cause the body was just overreacting to the sudden carb influx from the toothpaste. So I'm back on a normal diet now :-\

Ich weiss. Ich habe die Geschichte studiert, aber im Ernst, wieviele Dubliner labern miteinander auf Irisch? In der Gaeltacht ,ja klar gibts das, deswegen heisst es auch Gaeltacht, aber naja...ist auch die Sprache der Nationalverfassung, aber die ist am Boden seit Ewigkeiten. Sie ist nur noch eine Sache fuer die Buecher und Leute an den Unis....

Why not lower your fat/protein 10% and add some carbs? It's not gonna hurt, since you'll still be in a deficit.

Well I have considered raising it to maybe 20 grams just for some greens. I want to stay in ketosis. Like I said this weekend, after 3 weeks of no carb, will execute carb loading day.

It was EASY to sit around at 215 pounds back when I could eat all night and sleep all day.
Today I can't hit 180 again.

Only for the first few days until you've adapted to using fat as your primary fuel. Some populations, like the Inuit, live a lifetime on zero carbs. Their diet is all protein and fat. Paleolithic hunter-gatherer humans were primarily protein/fat. They got very little carbs... just some vegetables and occasional fruit.

Humans, most humans at least are in evolutionary terms still very much low carb oriented. 10,000 years tops have grains and the like been around.

Yes, I agree. The fat is going pretty quickly but it is boring, monotonous and I just feel like shit most of the time (which is likely due to sleep deprivation more than anything else).

I haven't even considered this diet........ I was a trainer at Golds for a while and probably 75% of my clients were failed Atkins followers.
Honestly, I'm lazy and I love carbs. Hope this helps. ;D

Lost about 35 pound then leveled off, but I never restricted my calroies. Got very lean and felt great. I also found it was easy, to put on muscle too. Ate mostly turkey burger, eggs cheese and red meat. I supplemented with vitamins as I always do. I would recommend eating plenty of veggies though which was something that I did not do then.
