So i was checking the "Hulkster i'm calling for a truce" thread and i thought "How about i email ronnie and see what he thinks about this", below is the original mail + answer, from ronnie himself (i hope)
Before you read, i aint no mod, nor friend of arnold, nor brother in arms of ron avidan but who cares!

Hello Big Ronnie
We have a thread at getbig.com forum called "Hulkster I'm calling
for a truce", it's 1658 pages, thousands of posts, just about you
and dorian yates.
So far there's no agreement about who was the most hardcore
bodybuilder ever, there is this guy called Hulkster who is probably
the most obsessed ronnie coleman fan, and another guy called
narcisissydeity, always supporting dorian.
Myself, being one of the most important mods at getbig.com, ron
avidan's brother in arms, and personal friend of Arnold, would like
to know the final answer from the real master, that is you of
course, so, in order to end with this endless thread, please answer
this question (if possible) and let me know if i can post it at
getbig forum, with your authorization:
Who was the better bodybuilder ever, Big Ronnie Coleman or Dorian
El Yates?
Thank you in advance
benz
supermod at getbig.com, personal friend of arnold and brother in
arms of ron avidan
Original email received from the biggest and greatest bodybuilder ever
Wow! thats a hard question but I'll to my best to answer it and sure you can post it on getbig.com. Fans are great and I love them all, even the ones that hate me cause you see they still support the sport and their support is what keeps this tough odd sport a thriving which in turn pays my salary so like Tupac said "I aint mad atcha, got nothing but love for ya" Ok here goes my answer, lets see I won 8 Olympias and Dorian won 6, On my DVDs that I sell on my website www.bigroncoleman.com you see me in "Unbelievable" deadlifting 800 for reps, you see me in "Cost of redemption" squatting 800 for reps. It has been documented that I competed at 286 and changed the sport forever in 2003, many people have called me the "GOAT" I'm using acrynems so as to not sound cocky cause this is what they say. Ok Dorian won 6 Mr. O titles, he was documented doing some heavy training in his DVD but I didn't see no 800 pounds squats or deadlifts, I think his highest contest weight was 265. I have not heard anyone say he was the "GOAT", I better stop there cause I know narcissdeity is blowing steam from his ears and I don't want him to despise me, hate is enough.
Ronnie Coleman
8X Mr. Olympia

By the way, anybody can confirm this is legit by mailing the greatest ronnie coleman ;)
-
Is that real???
I hope so...Ronnie has every right to feel that he is IN EVERY WAY superior to Dorian!!
Why???.....
because he is!! ;)
-
wow, so ronnie believe's he's better than dorian.
rarely do you actually hear legends comparing themselves with other legends.

I rather doubt the email from Ronnie is legit but I have to admit this is one funny and clever thread.

As i said im not sure if ronnie answered himself, but the email is legit :)
-
Ronnie doesn't write like this - he uses much simpler grammar and words.
-
doens't sound like ronnie but agree with pretty much everything the "email" said
-
Ronnie is a legend either way :)
-
If anybody wants me to forward the email, no problem, the king (or someone close to him) replied!
-
That sounded alot more white then if ronnie would have written it lol..
-
Forward this to him:
Lee Haney is the greatest ever 8 time Mr. Olympia
Oh, yeah...tell Ronnie that the message is
Moosejay Approved

I thought his e-mail unlisted.
On a serious note...I would never be so disrespectful.

hahah, not to begin a feud with you but......
well, both of them have 8 olympias....so at least there, neither is better then the other one...
sum of championships (other ones like Arnold, ironmans...etc)? well..Ronnie just rapes Lee there....(correct me if im wrong...)
and sorry, IMHO Lee would be destroyed if he competed at the same time as Ronnie...Dont think he got a hard competition as Ronnie, facing guys like Levrone, Nasser, Shawn, Flex, Cormier, Gunter, Jay, and lots of other ones....all in the top of their games...
In fact, Lee wouldnt beat even Dorian, if he had continued competing...
-
Ron didn't want to bother with getbig when i told him about this more than a year ago. Too negative a place to bother going on himself. Can't disagree, think he was referring to the bitch narcissist in particular.:D
-
That sounds like ronnie.
I was not a huge Coleman fan in the past,
But I've come to give this man his due.
He is a true champion, and I wish him
good health for the future.
I think I despised him because he was a cop,
but yet all drugged up.
I'm not a fan of hypocrisy.

Now he took a min to clear up this matter :)

These are from Ronnie himself ................. ;)
Special Ed : Ronnie of Dorian competed in 1998 would you have smoked him?
Ronnie Coleman : NO I think he would have kept on winning as long as he competed I don't think he would have lost.
Taken out of FLEX nov 1999, page 90. interview by jim schmaltz with ronnie before the 99 Olympia.
Jim: What would have happened last year if Dorian Yates (recently retired winner of 6 straight Mr. Olympias) had competed?
Ronnie: Dorian would have won again.
Jim: You think so?
Ronnie: I know so. Dorian has a big physique - hard- and he's been the man to beat, and its hard to knock the champion off the block. He's a big guy and has a lot going for him. He overcame so many adversities, like his torn biceps, I couldnt see too much else stopping him.

and FYI I haven't posted in the truce thread in months ...............why would I? I won ;)
-
It's Ronnie or Dorian, not Ronnie of Dorian. I can't stand seeing that same error posted over and over.
-
Just a tad bit of GHOST-WRITING in there because I don't see Ronnie ever using the word "adversities". Sorry. Ronnie keeps it super basic.
-
Is that real???
I hope so...Ronnie has every right to feel that he is IN EVERY WAY superior to Dorian!!

Exactly! If I was in Ronnie's shoes, I would definitely flaunt it. However, Dorian was superior in some ways, some examples being that he was a better poser and he knew when to call it quits.
-
As i said im not sure if ronnie answered himself, but the email is legit :)
Doesn't matter, it is still a cool , funny thread

That can't be Ronnie.

Lee Haney has helped thousands of underpriviledged children through his civic endeavors in Georgia.
And this is not part of some lame tax write off...i.e...NFL athlete's 'foundations'...
Coleman has done nothing of the sort.
True mark of a man AND a champion...helping others

Anyone who thinks Dorian was better is gay and needs to quit sucking their computer screen everytime they see him in trunks...wake the fuck up people...like him or hate him Big Ron is/was in a whole nother league. It will be quite awhile before someone comes along that can dominate as he did. And i've emailed him before, he responds quick, thats no secret. I believe the email is legit. At the same time i'm not gonna smoke his pole and email him to bother him to play high school games. He's right, facts are facts, 8 times Mr. O and that's that. I'm sure he may have not deserved one but Dorian sure as hell didn't deserve at least 2 maybe 3...plus the poundages are insane...end of story nuthuggers!

-
he knew when to call it quits.
Not really, he looked like shit at the end. The only difference was politics in allowing him to win then.
-
Black and white shots are always more flattering than colored ones.

Correct on all points, especially in regards to the delusional narcissist troll.
Black and white shots are always more flattering than colored ones.
Funny inninit how most of the Yates shots are black and white.
-
See my post above yours, Balddaddy
Ummm what did Dorian do? This is about how good the "athlete" was not what have they put back in the community...wtf? If you base what people have done for the community as how good they where you might as well through out all of the hall of fames...most of them didn't do shit, they are just badass athletes...nice try, this isn't what that's about...
-

Yeah he really looked like shit:

Even at his worst he was dominating everyone that year, including Nasser Hell of a Syntholbody.
-
Dorian at his absolute peak would always beat Coleman at his peak. Ronnie Coleman could never defeat Yates 1993.
hope this helps

U seem to like walking in to doors. Even the black and whites didn't help by then lol

In my book it IS what its about....all around excellence.
Why do you think Arnold has done some much in the line of civics?
Initially...he was likely full of shit.
Special Olympics and all...he did it to lay groundwork for a future career in politics.
His moves proved very precient.
However, he, and others like him...who amass such inordinate wealth and power...eventually see, in altruistic fashion...that the only thing left for them to do is to use their power to help others.
Like your bb heroes, Balddaddy...the 8 time Olympia winners....what do they do next, pray tell?
Careers over...should they keep getting bigger, more 'jacked', as you may like to say?
You will find that they will lose their way, eventaully, if they don't realize that all they have left is to impress their experience and means upon others who need it.
-

Monster lack of evidence.
Here's Coleman before peaking, already dominating the keg except for the bullshit politics involved in the show.

No reason to single out Coleman, there are plenty of examples who preceeded him who have done precious little even with greater wealth, including Schwarzenegger for a long period 60s-80s, various sports stars like Jordan, etc. The list of the true altruists is small, therefore singling out Coleman's rather arbitrary and unrealistic. Besides which Coleman's a nice guy.

Epic following the sheep in stating the obvious.

Coleman NEVER beat Yates. He simply wasn't good enough. He only once ever achieved anything approaching Yates' amazing conditioning.
If Coleman is now saying he was better then this is news as Ronnie has always , rightly, admitted in the past that Dorian was too good for him.

Of course you are correct.
But this thread is about Coleman.
And these guys could all follow suit based on their own will...and simply solidify their legacies further still.
Most of those guys are scalawags...they don't have to be.

Yates 93 kills anything Ronnie brought to the table. No one ever reached such stunning levels of size and freaky, grainy conditioning. Ronnie admits he could never, ever beat that.
-
Exactly! If I was in Ronnie's shoes, I would definitely flaunt it. However, Dorian was superior in some ways, some examples being that he was a better poser and he knew when to call it quits.
Bingo on the second point!
Ronnie's the best...but enough is enough already

Yates ALWAYS beat Coleman every time they competed . FACT.

Wow... how can be that stupid....
117kg thick bones and joints guy can never beat 125kguy with thin bones and joints.
Yates and Ronnie are living in different league.

Can you use the English language so you make sense next time.
For the last time :
Coleman NEVER beat Yates when they competed.
Coleman himself admits that he couldn't beat Yates at his peak.
Yates']peak was 1993.
Nasser El Nobody has nothing to do with it.
-
don't bother with this gimmick...he's obviously just trying to start some drama ::)
Er no..excuse me dickhead but not everyone has to agree with your Coleman fanboy worship.
Dorian was better. Peak Yates beats Coleman.
I'm right but at worst it is simply my opinion and one i'm allowed to express so fuck off kid.

-You are quite guillible if you choose to place complete faith in IFBB contest placings as the arbiter, given that the IFBB and Weider have always been highly commercial enterprises with multiple agendas aside from awarding the top prize to the most deserving BB. The Olympia placings have been replete with questionable outcomes that have at times resulted in the departure of retirement of some of the best BBs in the world.
-What Coleman says is as irrelevant as the fact that Yates said same about Coleman. Or conversely, take each seriously and they cancel out, leaving you with nothing.
According to the IFBB this was the world's best build dude. When do you want to buy my bridge?

...
-
all Ronnie nuthuggers keeps posting Dorian pics from 97 96
post some from 93 ok?
-
That's standard tactics. The Ronnie boys post Dorian at his worst - gut, no arms - and Ronnie at his best. The Dorianites post Ronnie at his worst - gut, gyno, shit condition - and Dorian at his best.
It's war!
-
all Ronnie nuthuggers keeps posting Dorian pics from 97 96

When it comes to conditioning, Dorian was always superb even in 1994(His worst year).
So there is no big difference even if somebody post 1993 version. Maybe only biceps were OK. Thats it.
-
at least dorian knew when it was his time to walk away, and he did so like a champ!

This is the same guy who insists Ronnie was never gifted any of these ' special placements ' in fact went a step further and insisted not only did Coleman win in 2001 to Jay but he dominated him lol despite losing the whole pre-judging
-What Coleman says is as irrelevant as the fact that Yates said same about Coleman. Or conversely, take each seriously and they cancel out, leaving you with nothing.
flat out lie ! Yates when posed the the question if Ronnie would beat him said and I quote ' I guess I don't know
Ronnie on the other hand stated matter of factly
Special Ed : Ronnie of Dorian competed in 1998 would you have smoked him?
Ronnie Coleman : NO I think he would have kept on winning as long as he competed I don't think he would have lost.
would you have smoked him? NO thats definitive

To quote Kevin Horton who kicked your troll ass in another thread " contests are judged by one pose " it still rings true your straw man picture accomplishes nothing except to showcase your bias and hatred keep posting pictures of Dorian at his worse because you fear pictures of Dorian at his best for a very good reason
pumpster = owned
-
Ronnie also sent along this pic with the email 8)
ps ND (or as I like to call him, "McD" because he works at McDonald's and it shows badly every time he posts) gets owned all the time.
Ronnie is far superior to Doughian.
and we all can see it and know it.

Urgghh, that's nasty. People always call Doz unaesthetic but what the hell is Coleman?

LOL so eye witness testimony (including that from the man himself) + overwhelming visual support = nothing?
yeah, okay.. ::)
-
Urgghh, that's nasty. People always call Doz unaesthetic but what the hell is Coleman?
No these guys will argue he's aesthetic because he has a narrow waist lol most of them are ignorant and don't know the hallmark of great aesthetics is delts , abdominals and calves , Ronnie's missing two of these to start ....Ronnie's physique appeals to the ignorant people who like what they like.
he has a small waist and big arms WOW lol when I think of aesthetics men like Reeves , Wheeler , Haney , Zane , Labrada , and Paris come to mind , Ronnie doesn't.

ND is always right on this. As I long time lurker I've always admired the fact that he uses evidence to support his totally correct argument whilst pumpster and Hulskter (same guy? ) just insult him and try to bully him.
Dorian 1993 beats anything Coleman ever presented. Ronnie himself has always admitted this. I would trust his word - after all , he was there - over and above his fans who can't stand that Dorian always beat their boy
-
LOL so eye witness testimony (including that from the man himself) + overwhelming visual support = nothing?
yeah, okay.. ::)
See the 99 Olympia thread where Natural Ironman just kicks your ass plain & simple and he was there in 98 and 99 LMMFAO
all of your ignorant fan-boy comments fail in the face of eyewitnesses .

Great post ! and thanks
ad hominem attacks when faced with evidence thats all they have , they can't prove their opinions so they try and attack me diversion in the face of facts plain & simple its all good because the best part is I don't have to sink to their level .

Ok ok ok...enough is enough...
I'd like to see all the Dorian nuthuggers put together the best shots of Dorian against Ronnie. So far nobody has done it! Why not? Hmmm....brutal ownage! Every shot of Ronnie blasts Dorians narrow quads and torn up biceps out of the water...better calves? Ok, you got us....now what? They both have shitty waist lines...now what? Ronnies arms smoke his...now what? Chests are questionable...Shoulders are dominated again by....Ronnie....now what? Back...LMAO...don't even start, Ronnie...AGAIN! Hamstrings & glutes...ohhhh brother, Ronnie set the bar since Muntzer...now what? I'll be realistic and say Dorians upper body in a side tricep looked good a few times but when his biceps looked good he was very small in '92 & '93. When he put his size on and leaned up a bit better his body was torn up so....he's done! End of story...Good night, this is a rap!!!
-
yeah now you're talking
is that you?

Then Nasser can beat best Ronnie,Thats what you wanna say?

Ronnie is the king , Ronnie is the greatest bodybuilder who ever lived , he has 8 straight Mr Olympia titles and more pro wins than ANYONE
however this has NOTHING to do with Dorian being able to beat him and ironically the King of Bodybuilding agrees with me that he would lose to Yates ;)
-
King...maybe...of what I dunno...I don'y habitate his Kingdom. I am a Zane/Bannout guy myself
Considering there are female bodybuilders who would dwarf Zane , I can see how your judging of bodybuilding contests could lead to a unfair out come.

Lee Haney has helped thousands of underpriviledged children through his civic endeavors in Georgia.
And this is not part of some lame tax write off...i.e...NFL athlete's 'foundations'...
Coleman has done nothing of the sort.
True mark of a man AND a champion...helping others
well, i have no argument about that...was just talking about bodybuilding...
people talk a lot about this Ronnie vs Dorian...but again, Dorian didnt competed in lots of competitions as Ronnie...He didnt faced the same number of competitors and won...
Both of them ended up winning with obvious flaws (like the two of them having horrendous guts) but at least Ronnie didnt won anything with flaws that cannot be ignored (like a f*cking torn bicep!!!11!1!!!)
IMHO even if you take the olympias where other people should had won, Ronnie would still have more...
its a endless debate..but i think that the facts help Ronnie a lot...

Ronnie dominated in most of his wins except for '01, '02 and '06. All of his other performances were dominant and won by a very wide margin.
Dorian dominated in '92 and '93. After his left bicep tear he was a pretty incomplete bodybuilder. Ray, Levrone and Nasser all beat him through 94-97.

Just 3 of his 8 Olympia were won with straight firsts and the rest weren't wins by a very wide margin another out ignorant statement by you in fact Ronnie has some of the closest calls in Olympia history
Dorian on the other hand won every single Olympia with almost perfect scores with the exception of one posing which btw he won anyway 1995 was among the most dominant Olympia performances in the history of the sport you're quite alone in thinking anyones came close , same with 1996 and 1997 Nasser beat Yates in two front poses and got his ass handed to him in the 1/4 turns standing relaxed from the rear and all side & back shots , the irony of you saying he was ' incomplete ' then have the balls to claim Nasser ( missing an entire back ) beat him , so your bias , ignorance and outright stupidity
no one ever came close to beating Dorian not on paper and not in reality some may have won a few poses against him , however when all was said and done Dorian dominated his competition in a way that Coleman could never replicate and the competition he faced was much higher caliber as well .
-

Also let's not forget that MOST of Dorian's "wins" were fucking gifts. Ronnie got gifted one win. Dorian got gifted everything after 93. Don't even bother with the "conditioned size.....blah,blah,blah....." The guy was onstage with a severely torn bicep. That's the beginning and end of it. I used to laugh when Dorian would hold his front double bi pose for about 1/1000th of a second and then go back to hiding his fucked up arm.

I don't get all the Dorian haters claiming that Dorian's wins were "gifts". You know what's a gift? When the top two competitors are equal in the score and the judges arbitrarily decide to give one or or two more points to one of them on some obscure criteria. The best example would be Cutler vs Martinez at the 2007 Olympia, when Jay defeated Victor by a single point in the posing round. Now that could be seen as a gift. Another example would be Ronnie at the 2001 Olympia, who lost both the pre-judging and the night shows and still won. That is definitely a gift. As for Dorian, he won 5 of his six Olympias with straight-firsts scores. The only one he won by points was the 1994 Olympia, and the distance between him an Shawn was still enourmous. None of his wins were "gifts". As for 1995, he won it with straight-firsts scores from all judges in both the muscularity and symmetry rounds, something that never happened in Olympia history before or since. For all practical purposes, Dorian's win at the 1995 Olympia was the most dominant win by any Mr.Olympia ever.

Ronnie 2003 didn't receive perfect scores from all judges on both rounds. He did win with straight-firsts scores, but it wasn't as dominant as Dorian's win in 1995. And Dorian at that show made the second best bodybuilder in the World look like an amateur, and this guy(Levrone) was far superior to Jay. ;)

Yates isn't even winning based on the evidence, he looks a solid 2nd or 3rd there except for the "unbiased contest scoring". ::) So much for "most dominant" ever lol
-
Scores on paper mean nothing when you actually look at the physiques and judge them for yourself. Everyone who has ever competed knows that the scores don't always reflect who was actually the best guy onstage. Judging is often both subjective and political.

You can't counter the fact that Dorian at the 1995 Olympia received perfect scores from the 12 judges on both rounds, while Ronnie's win in 2003 was less dominant. These are facts, and your whining won't change them. ;)

If you think that Dorian should have ended in 2nd or 3rd at the 1995 Olympia, then you are a biased moron and you are giving credit to those who accuse you of being a racist who hates white people.
-

you are sounding exactly like that idiot ND.. :-\
you don't care what everyone can see, you are basing your whole opinion on the scorecards, which are made by partial judges in the first place.
see the fallacy here?
you are saying that dorian was perfect because the scores say he was.
but the scores were made by partial judges - you can see that simply by LOOKING at shots and footage from the contest.
numbers can be made to be whatever they want.
and as you can see by all the shots of dorian clearly NOT deserving perfect scores, physiques cannot be changed come contest day.
someone who gets bested by another bodybuilder from the front (nasser) does not deserve a 'perfect' score.
-

third? probably not.
but deserving of a perfect score given how nasser looked standing beside him from the front?
hell no.
-
Yates isn't even winning based on the evidence, he looks a solid 2nd or 3rd there except for the "unbiased contest scoring". ::) So much for "most dominant" ever lol
and this is that problem that ND I mean CigaretteMan don't realize:
you can't look to scorecards to assess a physique.
you have to look and compare that person with his competitors.
that is what counts.
numbers on a page are simply that.
-
you don't care what everyone can see, you are basing your whole opinion on the scorecards, which are made by partial judges in the first place.
see the fallacy here?
I am talking about what actually transpired and not what should or should not have happened. When I say that Dorian received perfect scores from all judges on both rounds, I am simply saying what happened. As for the judges being partial, guess what? Everyone is. You prefer Ronnie because you like his smaller waisted physique better, Sharma prefers Nasser because they are both of Arabic descent, etc. The difference is that the opinions of the judges are more important because it is them and not us who decide the outcome of contests. What makes your opinion more valid than that of 12 judges who have years of experience judging physiques and have seen thousands of physiques? As for politics, please, that is a strawman argument because there is no way to prove or disprove it. I know for a fact that there are several wins that seem far more politically motivated than those of Yates. The best examples would be Jay at least year's Olympia, who defeated Martinez by a single point in the posing round. I wouldn't blame anyone for saying that win was political, because it is extremely likely. Likewise, Ronnie's win in 2001 was probably political, given that he lost both rounds and still won the contest. My point here is that Ronnie has had wins that were questionable on paper, while Dorian never did. Understand? Even if you thought that Dorian lost the 1994 Olympia more than Ronnie lost the 2001 Olympia, the bottom line is that you cannot accuse dorian of having received a "gift" in 1994 because a true gift happens when two competitors are equal on the score and the judges give one of them the win by one point or so based on a ridiculous criteria - see Jay Cutler at the 2007 Olympia -, while at the same time ignoring Ronnie's win in 2001, when he was behind Jay on the score and still won. Obviously, the judges manipulated the outcome of that contest, but they didn't maipulate the outcome of the 1994 Olympia because Dorian still won on paper.
you are saying that dorian was perfect because the scores say he was.
No, I am saying that Dorian won the contest with perfect scores. That is a fact. What I think is irrelevant because it is the judges who decide the outcome of the contests. But referring to Dorian 1995, yes, I do think that he came as close to perfect as a physique has, the only flaws being his thick waist and torn left biceps - which was barely perceptible except in the front double biceps.
but the scores were made by partial judges - you can see that simply by LOOKING at shots and footage from the contest.
But we are all partial. All of us. That is why we have judges decide the outcome of contests, because having a million people vote on who they think are best doesen't work. And to be honest with you, I think that the judges' opinions, biased as they are, are more erudite than mine or yours, given that Olympia judges have on average over 20 years of judging experience and have seen thousands of physiques. From what I've gathered from your posts, you have never been to a pro bodybuilding contest. Is that correct? Then why do you believe that your opinion is more important than that of the judges?
numbers can be made to be whatever they want.
The same can be said for you. You can come up with whatever reasons you want for why Nasser should have won, or for why Ronnie is better than all bodybuilders, etc. Or "Pumpster" coming up with strawman argument after strawman argument to explain why physiques he doesen't like win contests.
and as you can see by all the shots of dorian clearly NOT deserving perfect scores, physiques cannot be changed come contest day.
First, I do think he deserves perrfect scores. Scores are relative to the competition, and Dorian blew the competition at the 1995 Olympia. Secondly, what I think is irrelevant. The bottom line is that there were no "gifts" in Dorian's wins because there has never happened that Dorian was behind or equal to someone in the score and the judges gave him the win anyway - like it happened to Jay at the 2007 Olympia and to Ronnie at the 2001 Olympia.
someone who gets bested by another bodybuilder from the front (nasser) does not deserve a 'perfect' score.
Dorian didn't get bested by Nasser from the front. This is another one of your fantasies. Dorian easily won the front lat spread and the abs-and-thighs. Nasser won the front double biceps. Winning two out of three mandatories is hardly getting "bested" from the front.
-
I am talking about what actually transpired and not what should or should not have happened.
Pssssst...everyone already knows what happened, a trained monkey could recite the obvious almost as well.. We're talking about keeping it real in terms of strong visual proof to the contrary of contest decisions that you're in complete denial on. Which then lends credence to those who believe that you and others practive racism in favor of white BBs. ;) ;)

Cigaretteman is tearing Hulsker and plumpster a new asshole. They will resort to more personal insults now as they can't counter his arguments.

gimmick trolling at it's best lol hi "cigaretteman"
-
Pssssst...everyone already knows what happened, a trained monkey could recite it. We're talking about keeping it real and the evident bias in favor of white BBs you and others have. ;)
You are a moron of the highest caliber. Bias in favor of white bodybuilders? Then explain why the 2 guys who won the most Olympia titles are both black? Explain why Coleman defeated Jay at the 2001 Olympia despite losing both the symmetry and muscularity rounds? You ofer no explanation because clearly there is no bias in favor of whote bodybuilders.
And if you had read anything of my post - obviously not the case -, you'd realize that I mentioned that everyone is partial and biased, which makes the claim that partial judges decide the outcome of contests redundant, because you can't have each and every bodybuilding fan voting to decide who wins, so a panel of judges is the only way to go. And while the judges decidions are arbitrary just like everybody else's, they are the ones who ultimately decide the outcome, so that's what matters. Why is your arbitrary taste more relevant than the judges' arbitrary taste? It's very simple, really: both the fans and judges are biased, but it is the judges who decide the winner so it is their opinion that matters, because we can't possibly hold an election where all the hundreds of thousands or millions of bodybuilding fans would vote to decide the outcome of contests.

Racist meltdown

Racist meltdown
Yeah, nice argument right there. You claimed that the I.F.B.B is racist, and I counter-argued that the 2 guys who won the highest number of the most prestigious title the I.F.B.B has are both black, thus killing your argumentation right there. And Ronnie's win at the 2001 Olympia could be seen as eithe racism or cronyism on the part of the judges, given that following the federation's rule book Ronnie lost the contest.
-
You can't counter the fact that Dorian at the 1995 Olympia received perfect scores from the 12 judges on both rounds, while Ronnie's win in 2003 was less dominant. These are facts, and your whining won't change them.
prove that 95 Dorian received perfect scores from all the judges on both rounds while 03 Ronnie didn't. Also, dominance is characterized by the disparity between competitors. The difference between Ronnie and Jay was much greater than Dorian and Kevin Levrone. Ronnie outweighed his closest competition that year by over 20 lbs. Dorian was a few lbs heavier than Kevin and had a torn muscle. ;)
-
prove that 95 Dorian received perfect scores from all the judges on both rounds while 03 Ronnie didn't.
What a desperate little Coleman guy. These are well reported facts and are well known. Go look it up if your phat ass is so out of the loop.
I bet you hate white people.

As for politics, please, that is a strawman argument because there is no way to prove or disprove it.
wrong. first of all, the fact that we as fans prefer certain physiques over others is simply because we are emphasizing different parts of the standard criteria for judging physiques. Which is perfectly valid as we are subjectively applying all the proper criteria. the problem with the judges was that they were IGNORING parts of the criteria to allow dorian to win.
eg. how the hell can someone who has a front double bi like this win the 'symmetry' round, win the contest with perfect scores etc etc.?
you say there is no way to prove the poltical motivations/partialness of the judges?
here is your proof right here:
call it what you want: politics, blind judging, incorrect judging, whatever.
but it was not right:
you look at the scores without seeing the physique and you say "wow dorian must have been incredible"
then you see this:
:-\
its about as blatant as you can get:
-
the bottom line is that you cannot accuse dorian of having received a "gift" in 1994 because a true gift happens when two competitors are equal on the score and the judges give one of them the win by one point or so based on a ridiculous criteria - see Jay Cutler at the 2007 Olympia
LOL where the hell did you come up with this bullshit definition of "gift"? your ass?
::)
no, a 'gift" win is where one competitor is awarded more (less in ths sport) points and the win over someone who he did not deserve to beat based on conventional criteria.
eg. bloated and torn 94 dorian over a near perfect shawn ray.
don't try and change the normal meaning of a 'gift' in order to justify dorian's inflated scoring.
it won't work.
sorry.
-
What does "Ronnie" think of this picture? :P
(http://www.wpse.com/Galleries/1/61/Dorian%20Yates_196205.jpg)
The problem is that he tore his bicep by the 1994 Mr. Olympia and was never really the same again.
Do continue posting those black and white shots though. I mean how else should one validate those wins in '96 and '97?
-
My point here is that Ronnie has had wins that were questionable on paper, while Dorian never did. Understand?
exactly my point.
had the judging been impartial, dorian would have had a lot of questionable wins on paper. but he didn't. and if you look at the contests, with that torn bi, Nasser, Ray 94 etc. he should NOT have had such perfect score cards. When ronnie showed up looking like shit, he was marked down for it. He still won, but did not win with picture perfect scores. Dorian showed up looking like shit in a similar fashion, and the judges didn't even care...torn bi? who cares..torn tri? who cares..torn quad? who cares..etc. need I go on?
the fact that he looked like he did in some of his post tear wins, and was not marked down for it, is yet more proof that his wins/scoring was not partial.
you are arguing against yourself.
-
And to be honest with you, I think that the judges' opinions, biased as they are, are more erudite than mine or yours, given that Olympia judges have on average over 20 years of judging experience and have seen thousands of physiques. From what I've gathered from your posts, you have never been to a pro bodybuilding contest. Is that correct? Then why do you believe that your opinion is more important than that of the judges?
because you and I are not motivated by Joe Weider and the IFBB.
we are motived by criteria.
do you really think that not scoring dorian down for the torn bi was proper?
please.
any knowledgable fan would and rightfully so.
the judges didn't.
its not hard to figure out why.
-
The same can be said for you. You can come up with whatever reasons you want for why Nasser should have won, or for why Ronnie is better than all bodybuilders, etc. Or "Pumpster" coming up with strawman argument after strawman argument to explain why physiques he doesen't like win contests.
but there is a crucial difference you are overlooking.
We can use real visual evidence to SUPPORT our claims.
when you use the real visual evidence with dorian, you see Nasser beating him in several poses from the front, a horrendous torn bi, and shawn looking like he did in 94 relative to dorian and all of this was ignored and perfect scores give to dorian anway.. .. well, you see that the judging was not very good at all..
-
The bottom line is that there were no "gifts" in Dorian's wins because there has never happened that Dorian was behind or equal to someone in the score and the judges gave him the win anyway - like it happened to Jay at the 2007 Olympia and to Ronnie at the 2001 Olympia.
the whole reason dorian was not behind or equal in score was because all of his flaws relative to his competition were ignored and he was given a perfect score anyway.
thus, what you are saying never happened did not happen because there was no gift.
it happened because there WAS a gift.
you are begging the question here:
You are assuming that there could be no gift in your attempt to argue that there was not a gift.\
classic philisophical fallacy.
:-\
-
Do continue posting those black and white shots though. I mean how else should one validate those wins in '96 and '97?
The constant resorts to black sox/black & whites are tacit admissions of poor contest showings.

they came to the same conclusion because they were impartial and biased towards dorian. Joe's name is on each contest you know.
its not rocket science.
if you think the judging was so 'spot on' please explain how this could not even make a dent in dorian's scoring:

prove that 95 Dorian received perfect scores from all the judges on both rounds while 03 Ronnie didn't.
It was mentioned on Ironman's report of that year's Olympia. Now prove to me that Ronnie received perfect scores from all judges on both rounds.
Also, dominance is characterized by the disparity between competitors. The difference between Ronnie and Jay was much greater than Dorian and Kevin Levrone.
Do you even know what straight-firsts means? It means that the Dorian won without having to resort to points. And can you prove that Ronnie defeated Jay by a greater distance than Doran defeated Kevin in 1995? Of course you can't. ;) And finally, defeating Levrone with straight-firsts scores is a much greater achievement than defeating Jay with straight-firsts scores, because Kevin is a vastly superior bodybuilder. ;)
Ronnie outweighed his closest competition that year by over 20 lbs. Dorian was a few lbs heavier than Kevin and had a torn muscle. ;)
Shawn Ray defeated competitors that outweighed him by 40 lbs or more, and so did Flex Wheeler. Your point is? Weight is not important; physique is. ;)

tell me about it. Even his beloved Flex magazine agrees Ronnie is the greatest bodybuilder of all-time.
Peter McGough – Flex, August 2005
"Personally, the best physique I ever saw onstage was Ronnie's at the 2001 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic. He was cut, full, trim in the waist and a monster (proving that when you're supersharp, you look superbig) at 247 pounds. Ronnie sporting that look would, in my opinion, be unbeatable."
Greg Merritt - Flex, July 2007
"Coleman is only two years older than the new Mr. O (hypothetical article saying if Toney Freeman won), but time stops for no man, including the greatest bodybuilder who ever lived."
Shawn Perine - Flex, July 2007
"After all, he's still, even at 43 yrs old, eight-time Mr. O Ronnie freakin' Coleman. Which is to say, arguably the best bodybuilder who has ever lived."
Jim Stoppani - Flex, July 2005
"Has anyone ever displayed a more muscular, more shredded, higher-quality physique than a 247-pound Ronnie Coleman at the 2001 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic?"
unknown - Flex, March 2008
"NUMBER ONE: RONNIE COLEMAN, 2001
Simply the best physique I’ve ever seen onstage. At 245 pounds King Ron was full and shredded from head-to-toe: his cuts being deeper than Bill Gates’ pockets. His delts, arms and chest were spectacular, his back really beyond description. Ten seconds after he first walked out the contest was over."

First of all, you don't know if that's true. Where are the score cards showing a greater margin of points for Ronnie over Jay than Dorian over Kevin? ;) Scondly, even if the gap between Ronnie and Jay were bigger than the gap between Dorian and Kevin, it still wouldn't matter because Kevin is a much better bodybuilder than Jay, so defeating him is a bigger challenge. ;)
Shawn and Flex defeated ;) larger competitors with their conditioning and symmetry. Your point? Jay had none of those advantages over Ronnie and was over 20 lbs lighter. What's your excuse now, bitch? ;)
Bitch? Lol...you can't overcome your lack of intellectual faculties with emotional outbursts, as it only makes you look even dumber than you already do. ;D
And Jay got defeated by Ronnie in 2003 because Ronnie had a better package of mass&symmetry&shape, not only because he had a size advantage like you say. So, your argument that Ronnie's win over Jay was more dominant than Dorian's win over Kevin because Ronnie enjoyed a greater size advantage over Jay than Dorian enjoyed over Kevin is redundant, because Kevin's structure, shape and symmetry are vastly superior to Jay's. The greater gap in mass between Ronnie and Jay is much easier to overcome than the smaller gap in mass between Dorian and Kevin because Kevin had aesthetics, symmetry and proportions that Jay did not. ;)

I don't give a shit how good Kevin was compared to Jay. That was never my argument to begin with, idiot. I took issue with your comment that 95 Dorian's win was the most dominant win by any Mr. Olympia. You are wrong.

While I’m on record as saying that the best physique I ever saw was Ronnie’s at the 2001 Arnold, he was never drier or harder than Dorian. In fact now that – 14 years after it happened – I recently for the first time saw the video of Dorian posing before the 1993 Olympia I have cause to rethink. I’m now not sure that Ronnie at 245 pounds would beat Dorian at 269 pounds. At a bigger bodyweight I think Ronnie would look soft next to an in-shape rock-hard Dorian.
On the subject of conditioning, no-one did it better than Dorian. He achieved a hardness and dryness (without losing fullness) that nobody has ever matched. In the flesh he looked even harder than he did in photos. It was like a statue made of granite was standing in front of you. ;)

As much as I love Haney and my IA champs, I think Ronnie circa '98 or at the 2001 Arnold is pretty much untouchable. Except by Dorian Yates 6 weeks out from the '93 O as photographed by our own KMH. Both men, on those specific occasions carried so much dry muscle mass in good proportion and with good lines that it's almost unfair to compare them to others.
and I ind it very interesting that ' The greatest bodybuilder of all-time ' doesn't think he would be able to beat Dorian head to head and he's not even referring to Dorian seven weeks out from the 1993 Mr Olympia , oh no he's referring to a post-tear Dorian ! it shows you the amount of respect and admiration Coleman has for Dorian . he balked at even entertaining the idea that Cutler would/could ever beat him , said and I quote " Jay must be on crack to think he could ever beat me , he better be reborn with better genetics. " now contrast to what he said about Dorian Yates
Special Ed : Ronnie of Dorian competed in 1998 would you have smoked him?
Ronnie Coleman : NO I think he would have kept on winning as long as he competed I don't think he would have lost.
definitive , honest and straightforward , would you have smoked him? NO thats clear cut and dry a sentiment that rings true from a previous quote
Question what would happen if Yates competed again , Dorian would have won again , you think so? I know so. again clear cut definitive and straight to the point . and this isn't a prime pre-tear Dorian at 269 pounds we're talking about this is a post-tear Yates .
points to ponder anyone who thinks any version of Ronnie be it the very light & super sharp 2001 Arnold Classic or the superheavy and less than stella condition wise version would easily beat Dorian at 269 pounds ( even Yates 93/95 ) is insanely ignorant and grossly optimistic and/or biased and stupid a trait which many of Coleman's fans on here have already proven as a fact .
Ronnie may have had a walk in the park with guys Yates routinely beat in better condition , but Ronnie never faced anyone like a 269 pound Dorian Yates with ( depending on the year ) great muscular bulk , much better balance & proportion , has the advantage of better muscle density & dryness and also has the advantage in posing & presentation all prerequisites per the IFBB judging criteria .

show me where Peter McGough says that Dorian would beat Ronnie. I have a quote from him explicitly saying Ronnie at his best is unbeatable. ;)
It doesn't matter if he states that Dorian would beat him it states the obvious many very knowledgeable professional experts agree Dorian at the least would give Ronnie a run for his money , unlike you fan-boys who claim Ronnie is so far advanced he would easily beat Dorian lol proves your ignorance once again
I don't think Ronnie would destroy a prime Dorian. So don't lump me with all the other Ronnie fans. We each have our differences of opinion. It would be close, no doubt, but I still believe 03 Ronnie would beat any other bodybuilder in history.
Disproved my ass , NO WHERE ( mr likes to play with words ) I repeat NO WHERE does Ronnie Coleman say he would beat Dorian , nice try but you fell flat on your face with this junk before and it still doesn't work.
read it and weep, kiddo. ;)
Ronnie Coleman Interview by John Stamatopoulos
John: "Let's say that it would be possible to have a bodybuilding contest where the only competitors would be you... and Dorian Yates, and all of you in their prime condition. Who do you believe would win?"
Ronnie: "Come on now, this is the age of Ronnie Coleman who else would win."

"The judges would probably choose Ronnie [over me]."
talk about a checkmate. Countdown to excuses... 3... 2... 1...

repeating yourself doesn't change a damn thing. You've stated many times bodybuilders look different in person than in videos and pics. If anyone is qualified to speak on the subject of Ronnie vs. Dorian, it would be professional bodybuilders and magazine writers who saw both men on stage up-close. Funny how they all agree that Ronnie at his prime would beat Dorian. Maybe they saw something you haven't b/c they were actually there. ;)

The irony of you clinging to personal eyewitness testimony when in fact you've on COUNTLESS occasions dismissed them all ;) oh now Neo needs it to work for him , Dorian Yates who seen Ronnie compete countless time ( and beat him numerous ;) ) has said he has better conditioning than Ronnie and you dismissed that and he would know after all he's a IFBB judge lol anyway Lee Priest said Dorian would beat Ronnie , Ronnie said Dorian would beat him , Ernie taylor , etc , etc , etc and all were there nice try at playing my game Neo but again what matters the most is Ronnie himself said on more than one occasion he wouldn't beat Dorian and you once again dismissed him as ' dumb ' you ever hear the man speak was your retort lol as usual little man you have nothing for me

You're all the same kool-aid drinkers of Coleman , you're all delusional and ignorant so I will lump all you idiots together but you do get credit for admitting it would be close , and 2003 isn't in the running compared to those who were actually there you know live and in person but hey you're entitled to your ignorant opinion.

and its hard to knock the champion off the block.
Coleman was referring to contest politics here, went right over nerd-boy's pencil neck. Excellent self-ownage with that quote lol
BTW i don't see any proof whatsoever that ND has himself ever lifted more than a pen in his life.

This my very stupid little friend is Ronnie referring to ( what he thinks is ) contest politics....
THOUGHTS ON LOSING TO SCHLIERKAMP AT THE 2002 GNC SHOW OF STRENGTH:
It was nothing more than a way to create interest in the sport. No reigning Mr. Olympia had lost a show like this before. The goal was to shake things up, set the stage for a three-way battle [with Cutler and Schlierkamp] at the 2003 Mr. Olympia. There was no way in the world that I should have lost the GNC. Just look at the photos. I was victimized by the system

One please show me where Dorian said Ronnie was the greatest bodybuilder of all time ! and two there is ONLY one name on that list that carries weight and thats the name of the man in question and we all know what he thinks of this situation ;) and it doesn't matter if he is the greatest of all time , they're basing that on one or two factors , number of Olympia titles won and number of pro contests won and according to that criteria alone its true he is the greatest bodybuilder of all time and that has NOTHING to do with if Dorian Yates at his best competed against him at his who would win.

bottom line he said I don't know ! thats not explicit , definitive or sure you also omitted how many times he said it was a very hard question for him to answer once again in a feeble attempt to TRY and give a clear answer to a question where he said explicitly I DON'T KNOW ;)

Neo that quote wont sink in because its means NOTHING its not committed , definitive or concise he never said explicitly he would beat them , I know this pisses you off but its in black & white just like he said he couldn't have beat them in their day , Dorian's day was 1993-1997 there you have it he says he couldn't beat Dorian for a third time lol how much more damning can this get?
Ronnie said now three times he couldn't beat Dorian and he would know because he's the greatest bodybuilder of all time , seen both at their bests & worse live and in person and his word carries much more weight than yours lol
you're fucked either way kid . ;)

I really liked Dorian's physique before he had the injuries, but his waist always
through threw (fixed) it off for me. I think a big waist is more detrimental than a big gut. Dorian in 1993 with a small waist would give Ronnie in 2003 a run for his money I bet.

show me where I claimed Ronnie defeated Jay by more points than Dorian defeated Kevin. Good luck! ;)
You said that Ronnie dominated Jay by a greater margin than Dorian dominated Kevin in 1995. The objective measure of dominance is points, as scored by the judges. So where is your proof?
ha ha ha, are you f*cking kidding me? Anyone with 2 eyes and a brain can see the disparity between 03 Ronnie and Jay was much greater than 95 Dorian and Kevin.
Anyone with a brain can see that defeating a career best Levrone is harder than defeating Cutler. Think about it for several hours, and maybe you might end up understanding that. ;D
sure, b*tch. Whatever you say. I love how you think I can't control my "emotional outbursts" when, in reality, I'm just toying with you at this point for my own amusement. ;)
Mmk...you are lucky that I even reply to your posts, considering how cretinous are the things you say. I mean, defeating Jay is harder than Levrone? What was that internet course you got your degree in personal training again? ;)
I don't give a shit how good Kevin was compared to Jay. That was never my argument to begin with, idiot. I took issue with your comment that 95 Dorian's win was the most dominant win by any Mr. Olympia. You are wrong.
Dumbass, you are unable to comprehend that Dorian defeated with straight-firsts scores Kevin in the best shape of his life, which is much harder to accomplish than defeating an inferior bodybuilder like Cutler. Let's break this down to you for you to comprehend:
Levrone at his best > Cutler in his 2001 Olympia form.
Hence:
Defeating 1995 Kevin > defeating Jay at the 2001 Olympia.
Duh! :P Why is it so hard for you to figure this out?

don't try to back peddle after I called you out. Show me where I claimed Ronnie defeated Jay by more points than Dorian defeated Kevin. ;)
So you admit that your claim that Ronnie defeated Jay in 2003 by a greater margin than Dorian defeated Kevin in 1995 is bullshit? ;) I mean, because the only way to prove that is by showing that Ronnie had a greater point gap over Jay than Dorian had over Kevin, which you failed to deliver - still waiting.
I never said 03 Jay was better than 95 Kevin. So you can stop going off on a tangent now. I said the disparity between Ronnie and Jay was greater than Dorian and Kevin.
I am still waiting for you to prove that. ;) And the only reason why Ronnie dominated in 2003 is because his competition was pathetic. It's easy to dominate when your competition is Cutler; it's much harder to do so when it is a Kevin in the best shape of his life. What I mean by Dorian's win in 10995 being more dominant is that he dominated superior competition. Your argument is stupid. Let me give an analogy to better elucidate my point. Imagine that you pitted in a match a Ferrari and a Volkswagen, and then the Ferari against a Lamborghini. Now, the Ferrari finishes 30 minutes ahead of the Volkswagen, but only 5 minutes ahead of the Lamborghini. The win over the Lamborghini was more dominant, because the Lamborghini is a far more formidable car. The value of a win is not absolute, but relative. No one cares if Tiger Woods defeats a neophyte at golf in some match. But if they could bring back Palmer in his prime and Tiger played against and defeated him, that would be a much more worthy win. All the bodybuilders who placed in the top 5 at the Olympia in the 1990s would have a field day with Cutler. Beating him is nothing special like beating Levrone in the best shape of his career. ;)
learn to read, dipshit. I never talked about which 2nd place finisher was harder to beat. Where did you go to school? I would sue them if i were you.
It is extremely unlikely that they will revoke my diploma, considering that I donate $100,000.00 a year to my former high school, and another such sum to my alma mater. Despite my limited intelligence and knowledge, I have done pretty well in life and do not need to be a "certified personal trainer" with a degree in "exercise physiology" to earn a living. ;)

I never said Ronnie beat Jay by more points than Dorian beat Kevin. I said the disparity between 1st and 2nd was greater when Ronnie won. Both Dorian and Ronnie won with straight firsts. So neither man has an advantage if you want to play the numbers game. However, we can easily see that 03 Ronnie overwhelmed Jay that year with sheer mass and definition. Dorian was only a few lbs heavier than Kevin and had a torn biceps.
I am still waiting for you to prove that.

Water logged mass. Dorian's back was bigger and more ripped than this in the offseason. Notice the striations in Jay's lats and the lack there of in Ronnie's. Also note the folds of skin and fat in Ronnie's neck.

Great job avoiding the question , again show me where Dorian ever claimed Ronnie to be the greatest of all time , you put his name on that list and now you're bound to it , please show me this quote because I've never seen it. and again its no excuse Ronnie is considered the best of all time because..............eig ht straight and he has the most pro wins so going by that criteria he is and big deal , The greatest bodybuilder of all time STILL doesn't think he's be able to beat Dorian Yates
you think I care if you have a quote saying Dorian had better conditioning or was more balanced? That means nothing to me when I have several quotes saying Ronnie is the greatest bodybuilder of all-time.
I know you don't care for a reason , and you should care muscular balance and density & dryness are HALF the judging criteria which ' the greatest bodybuilder of all time ' is already down on against Dorian and NONE of your quotes mean anything in the face of " The Greatest bodybuilder of all time " admitting not once , not twice but NOW three times he could NOT beat Dorian Yates , so you're fucked either way

how lame. I posted the whole sentence from Dorian. You left out the rest of Ronnie's sentence. Big
how lame? I agree thats why I pointed out your pathetic attempt to play with words ( see above ) the two other quotes are in context and complete and on two clear cut occasions The greatest bodybuilder of all-time has said he could NOT defeat Dorian Yates . no matter how much you attempt to toy with the words and take things out of context you my not so bright little friend are fucked

you are just so bitter that a studio shot like this blows away any of dorian's black and white shots, aren't you?

you are just so bitter that a studio shot like this blows away any of dorian's black and white shots, aren't you?
Blows it away how? size? NO Ronnoe 244 pounds Dorian 269 pounds , balance? NO not even close , density & dryness? NO I would say at the minimum its a push and thats working with you , so again where is he exactly blowing him away? lol
great logic he's not as big , not as balanced and his proportion lags behind and he's lucky if his density & dryness are equal ....lucky ! but then again you're so fucking stupid you made the claim that Ronnie at 244 pounds has a thicker back than Yates at 269 pounds LMMFAO
kid go away you bore me.
-
man MattC is taking a beating lately lol but hey he likes to get down on the little people for grammatical errors these things will come back to bite you in the bum. lol
He is quite pathetic even when it comes to that, he likes to boast his great vocabulary but he can hardly speak one language properly although he lived his all life at a nation that have TWO official languages, I guess French isn't a European enough language for his white pride ass ::).
-
Aren't you the same guy who dismissed Dorian's grainy appearance as the result of acne? Neo you're just being contrary and I wont entertain your nonsense , show me where I dismissed Dorian lol see the whole truce thread and any other thread you follow me around in
Learn to read, jackass. I said Dorian's acne contributed to his "grainy" appearance. I never said that was the sole factor responsible. It seems all you do is make false accusations b/c you never back up any of your claims when I call you out.
Dorian admitted that Ronnie would beat him. Since Dorian and Ronnie at their primes would beat any other bodybuilder in history, it logically follows that Ronnie is the greatest bodybuilder ever according to Dorian. ;)
I know you don't care for a reason , and you should care muscular balance and density & dryness are HALF the judging criteria which ' the greatest bodybuilder of all time ' is already down on against Dorian and NONE of your quotes mean anything in the face of " The Greatest bodybuilder of all time " admitting not once , not twice but NOW three times he could NOT beat Dorian Yates , so you're fucked either way
you can isolate parts of the IFBB judging criteria and apply them to any year. That's why I don't give a f*ck about your silly quotes. You may have a quote saying Dorian had perfect symmetry in 93 or was shredded and dry in 95. However, you cannot apply all those quotes to the same year b/c he brought a different package each year. A quote that names someone as the greatest bodybuilder of all-time is more significant. ;)
again you're taking this out of context , right after that statement he said ' I guess I don't know. " you're taking it out of context because you think it proves your point , very weak logic ( something you're fond of ) you like to play with words and difference is I don't have to
how am I taking Dorian's quote out of context? Even if he later said he was unsure, it doesn't change the fact he said the judges would probably choose Ronnie. It shows that he feels Ronnie would beat him otherwise he never would have made that comment to begin with.
Ronnie could have said Dorian would beat him a thousand times for all I care. All it takes is one time for him to change his mind. ;)

bull shit and I don't care enough to track down the exact quotes but none of that matters to say you never dismissed Yates is just bullshit and we both know it and funny you should mentioned backing up claims , I'm still waiting for you to back up the claim that Coleman was better conditioned than Dorian , I'm still waiting for you to back up the claim that 2003 Mr Olympia was his best appearance , etc , etc , ect
Dorian admitted that Ronnie would beat him. Since Dorian and Ronnie at their primes would beat any other bodybuilder in history, it logically follows that Ronnie is the greatest bodybuilder ever according to Dorian. ;)
Thanks for admitting you outright lied and added Dorian's name , oh wait you never admitted that I exposed you as the pathetic loser who has to lie in order to create angles lol Dorian never admitted Ronnie would beat him thats another outright lie , he said I guess I don't know and more bullshit from you trying to link a to b and back to a again , Ronnie's calves being comparable to Jays in 03 ring a bell? and there fore his calves are comparable to Dorians size wise lol you're an idiot for many reasons kid , keep lying its all you have go for it , don't worry I'll correct you as usual

You don't like silly quotes because they shut your ignorance down period , you tried to play my game and got shot down as usual , Dorian had better conditioning than Ronnie over his whole fucking career , perhaps and this is working with you , perhaps Ronnie matched him in 98/01 for density & dryness , but he couldn't do it at higher bodyweights like Yates , then couple that with better balance & proportion which you guessed it is better than Ronnie ( when Dorian is at his best 93/95 )
and a quote from the Greatest Bodybuilder of all-time shuts your bullshit down in 2 seconds flat , Ronnie concedes to Dorian 3 times ;) next...................

How are you taking it out of context? you're joking right? " Ronnie would probably beat me , I guess I don't know thats a very hard question for me to answer. " you omitted the part where he said I don't know and you did it for a very specific reason to make like its a definitive answer and nothing could be further than the truth
Now this is definitive , this is decisive this is reality
Do you think so? Ronnie : I know so. thats in context and straight to the point not internal debate , no guessing , no wondering Ronnie in black & white says I know so that my stupid little friend is ironclad you can't touch this all you're left with is crying ;)
Ronnie never changed his mind thats you making shit up ( again ) 99 he says Dorian would beat him , the quote you're clinging onto for dear life he says I couldn't beat him in his day lol and when asked this question at the close of his Olympia career he says for a third time I couldn't beat Dorian lol you have NOTHING Neo nada . zip . zero
Neo you're lucky I'm even responding to you at this point because you're a proven liar , you're as stupid as the day is long about competitive bodybuilding and you take quotes out of context and you try to play with words , but I do enjoy correcting you and watch you dig yourself deeper into the abyss of ignorance , you're not in my league kid come back when you learn a thing or two about competitive bodybuilding and maybe I'll entertain you and your ' opinions '

how did I lie? I never said Dorian explicitly stated Ronnie would beat him. It can be inferred from his comment that Ronnie is the greatest of all-time. If you take the two best bodybuilders in history and claim that one of them would beat the other, what does that make the victor? This isn't rocket science.
You don't like silly quotes because they shut your ignorance down period , you tried to play my game and got shot down as usual , Dorian had better conditioning than Ronnie over his whole fucking career , perhaps and this is working with you , perhaps Ronnie matched him in 98/01 for density & dryness , but he couldn't do it at higher bodyweights like Yates , then couple that with better balance & proportion which you guessed it is better than Ronnie ( when Dorian is at his best 93/95 )
give it up, kiddo. Repeating yourself like a parrot won't impress anyone. I have numerous quotes from professional bodybuilders and magazine writers saying Ronnie is the greatest bodybuilder of all-time. I don't give a shit if you have a quote about Dorian's conditioning or balance. Last time I checked, better conditioning means just that - better conditioning - and greatest bodybuilder ever means... <shock> greatest bodybuilder ever. ;)

it speaks volumes about your argument when you have to quote a guy who speaks like a retard and has been proven wrong on several occasions. ;)

A lie? saying you have dismissed Dorian is a lie? lol again I don't care enough to look up specifics you're just like the other nutt-huggers lol you never dismissed Yates lol thats rich

how did you lie? simple
oh, how easy you make this for me. Here's a list of people who said Ronnie is the greatest bodybuilder of all-time.
you added Dorian's name to this list , he never said this I called you on it and exposed you as a liar . simple case closed end of story. next..............

The irony of you of all people typing ' repeating yourself ' you of all people lol I find that funny :) wow Ronnie is the greatest of all-time ( hey did Dorian contribute to that list? ;) ) o.k what does that mean? he won the most Olympias and he has the most pro wins , I have no problem with that it doesn't mean he would defeat Dorian Yates at his best and here is the kick in the balls what does the greatest bodybuilder of all time have to say about Dorian Yates? .......................y eah I thought so ;)
I already addressed this in my last post.
"Even if he later said he was unsure, it doesn't change the fact he said the judges would probably choose Ronnie. It shows that he feels Ronnie would beat him otherwise he never would have made that comment to begin with."
you didn't address that and that has NOTHING to do with you taking it out of context period , you omitted part of the statement for a very specific reason , even if later he said he was unsure lol later isn't another date that followed right after he said probably ( which in itself isn't definite ) bottom line you're attempting to manipulate words again , the whole quotes " Ronnie would probably beat me , I guess I don't know. "
This isn't definitive , it isn't concrete , it isn't concise again if I wanted to play with words like you the quote you keep posting about Arnold , Haney and Yates I could sum it by saying Ronnie said the following " I couldn't beat them. " end of sentence ;)
it speaks volumes about your argument when you have to quote a guy who speaks like a retard and has been proven wrong on several occasions. ;)
I love how you've been reduced to bad mouthing Ronnie because he crushes your fantasies and I agree that he has been proven wrong on several occasions however his opinion isn't wrong because you disagree with it , in fact I would say The Greatest Bodybuilder of All-Time is more qualified to speak on the subject than some lowly ' Certified Personal Trainer " LMMFAO after all he's seen both himself and Dorian compete firsthand , he does after all have the most Olympia wins and the most professional contest wins , a man with dozens & dozens of years experience in competitive bodybuilder lol you can attack Ronnie all you want but the mans resume on competitive bodybuilding crushes anything you were ever accomplish so his word is gold and yours isn't worth pocket lint .. and what does Ronnie have to say on this topic on not one , not two , but three separate occasions? ......................ye ah I thought so ;)
Neo = owned
now run along you bore me .

something tells me ND is going to run away from this thread just like he did the truce thread.
he is getting his ass owned royally, and he never sticks around long for that..

I never said Ronnie beat Jay by more points than Dorian beat Kevin. I said the disparity between 1st and 2nd was greater when Ronnie won.
You sad noob. Try to understand something, jackass: stating that Ronnie's win over Jay in 2003 was more dominant than Dorian's win over Kevin in 1995 is analogous to claiming that Ronnie beat Jay by more points. Why? Because bodybuilding is scored by points, so the only way to demonstrate your contention is by showing that Ronnie beat Jay by more points. You don't need to have written that Ronnie beat Jay by points word by word to have implied that. ;)
Both Dorian and Ronnie won with straight firsts.
Exactly, dumbo. And since both won with straight-firsts over their respective contenders and we don't know the point gap, then we must assume that they dominated equally.
However, what is not debatable is that defeating Kevin in the best shape of his career is a greater accomplishment than defeating Jay. So, since both Dorian at the 1995 Olympia and Jay at the 2003 Olympia won dominantly, but Dorian defeated a higher caliber rival, then:
Dorian's win at the 1995 Olympia = Ronnie's win at the 2003 Olympia(both won with straight-firsts scores)
Kevin 1995 Olympia > Jay 2003 Olympia
Defeating Kevin at the 1995 Olympia > defeating Jay at the 2003 Olympia.
So Dorian's win at the 1995 olympia > Ronnie's win at the 2003 Olympia ;)
So, unless you provide evidence that Ronnie defeated Jay by more points than Dorian defeated Kevin, then you have been decapitated. Hell, even if you provide evidence that Ronnie won by more points, it still doesen't mean much because Kevin in 1995 was just so much better than Jay.
whatever helps you sleep at night. ;)
What a witty reply. Or are you toying with me again? ;)

Can you get any more wrong? I never stick around for that long lol I'll leave that stupid remark right where I found it lol
and if you call creating lies royally owned , oh wait you've done that too lol you own yourself and I just point it out.

And yet he fascinates you sufficiently to spew volumes more of diahhrea lol.
Whats funny is you retitled the pic ' dyhugebelly ' and his belly isn't huge his obliques are thick which is of course old news more proof of how little you know.
and when held in tight his oblique become much smaller ;) same contest see how simple that was?

dorian 95 would get totally overwhelmed by 2003 Ronnie.

It's kind of funny that the top bodybuilders who competed against both yates and Ronnie during their prime state that Ronnie is the greatest bodybuilder of all-time, but none of them except for Lee Priest say that yates is. I have never seen quotes from anyone stating that yates is the greatest bodybuilder of all-time. I've asked the yates fan club to even post 3 quotes from bodybuilders, experts, etc. stating this, but they won't do it. Here are the best bodybuilders, experts, writers, etc stating the obvious:
Greatest/ Best/Most Dominant/ Mr. Olympia/Bodybuilder/Physique Of All-Time
1) Flex stating that Ronnie is the most biggest, hardest, shredded bodybuilder in history. Flex has competed against both guys in their prime:
Flex Wheeler - MD, February 2004
"I'll go on record as saying Ronnie is truly the biggest, hardest, most shredded Mr. Olympia in history. No disrespect to anybody at all, but I'd to identify Ronnie Coleman as the greatest Mr. Olympia of all time."
2) Jean Pierre Fux stating that Ronnie has the best physique ever. Jean has competed against both guys:
"Jean Pierre Fux - http://www.criticalbench.com/Jean-Pierre-Fux.htm
"The current Mr. Olympia (Ronnie Coleman). In top shape, probably the best physique that ever stepped on stage."
3) John Hansen, 2x Mr. Natural Universe and Mr. Natural Olympia stating that Ronnie has presented a physique that could not be equaled (which also means that Ronnie has surpassed "everyone", that includes your hero yates):
John Hansen, 2x Mr. Natural Universe and Mr. Natural Olympia - Personal Website
"It would be safe to say that [Ronnie Coleman] presented a physique that has never been seen by the bodybuilding world ever before. Competing at an incredibly massive 287 pounds, Ronnie destroyed the competition with a physique that could not possibly be equaled."
4) John Hansen, 2x Mr. Natural Universe and Mr. Natural Olympia - Personal Website for the 2000 Mr. Olympia
"Many people in the sport have also talked about the fact that Ronnie Coleman may be the best Mr. Olympia ever!"
5) George De Pirro Flex Senior Editor Says that Ronnie is the most dominant pro bodybuilder of all-time:
FLEX Article talking about bodybuilding (Ronnie Coleman) from 96-06 Mr. O
"Anyone who denies Coleman's dominion over the past decade is truly kidding himself."
"The fact that the two contests under consideration basically bookend his reign at the top further solidifies his claim as the most dominating pro bodybuilder of all time."
6) Ron Harris says that Ronnie is tied with Haney as the greatest Mr. Olympia ever:
Ronnie Coleman - Bodybuilder Profile - 8X Mr. Olympia
A living legend in our sport
By Ron Harris
http://www.bodybuilderprofiles.com/ronnie-coleman.htm
"280-pound Ronnie emerged triumphant and joined Haney as the greatest Olympia champion ever."
7) Steve Blechman states that Ronnie is the greatest Mr. Olympia of all-time:
MD, page 44, Feb. 04, -Steve Blechman: "Ronnie Coleman is not only the greatest Mr. O of all time, he is also one of the oldest"
8) MR. OLYMPIA: EXPECTING THE UNEXPECTED
By: SHAWN PERINE
http://www.flexonline.com/news/245
"The man many consider the greatest bodybuilder who’s ever lived (Cutler himself has paid Coleman such a tribute) will no doubt squeeze every last ounce of potential from his superannuated self in his fight to regain his supremacy."
9) BACK TO WORK
http://www.flexonline.com/training/97
"He’s still, in the estimation of many, the greatest bodybuilder who ever lived."
10) Dan Soloman on Ronnie Coleman 2003 at the 2004 Mr. Olympia:
“Last year Ronnie Coleman presented what we thought was the most extraordinary overall package in the history of the sport.”
11) Ben Weider – 2005 Mr Olympia:
“Ronnie Coleman will go down in history as the greatest Mr. Olympia of All-Time.”
12) Allan Donnelly - Flex Issue November 2007 – Day In The Life Of Ronnie Coleman:
“In bodybuilding there has been no greater champion than Ronnie Coleman.”
“But he emerged – seemingly from nowhere - as perhaps the most dominant force the sport has ever seen.”
“I can’t help but wonder if the man who could be remembered as the greatest bodybuilder in history has one more great performance yet to give.”
13) Flex Wheeler at the 2007 Mr. Olympia about Ronnie Coleman:
“Ronnie is the biggest, hardest and most complete Mr. Olympia that ever walked the stage. Ronnie will go down as far as right now, unless somebody topples him in eight years. He’s the greatest Mr. Olympia of All-Time. I find it very hard to believe that somebody to be able to super exceed that.
14) Dave Palumbo at the 2007 Mr. Olympia about Ronnie Coleman:
“Ronnie Coleman is the greatest Mr. Olympia champion of All-Time. He has the most career wins.”
15) Dan Soloman & Gunter Schlierkamp at the 2007 Mr. Olympia about Ronnie Coleman:
“We are watching arguably the greatest bodybuilder of All-time compete possibly in his final contest.”
“Ronnie Coleman at his very best was the greatest bodybuilder to ever live and it’s going to be a long time until someone comes along and prove other wise.
Gunter Schlierkamp: Yes.”
16) David Robson - 2007 Mr. Olympia Review:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/drobson315.htm
“Not the perfect ending for Ronnie but he will leave the sport secure in the knowledge that he is the greatest pro bodybuilder ever to grace the stage.”
17) Bob Cicherillo - Pro Bodybuilding Weekly Show #90, October 1, 2007:
“What we just witnessed was history in the making. Ronnie would stop short of saying that he is the greatest of All-Time. I actually took that opportunity to say, you know what Ronnie, you can say it man. You are the best bodybuilder of All-Time.”
18) Written by Raymond Cassar - 2007 Muscletime Olympia Report
http://www.muscletime.com/news/latest/2007-mr-olympia-analysis/
“First I need to get one thing out of the way: There is no one alive that can beat Ronnie Coleman when he is at his best – No One! (and his best for me was when he won the 2001 Arnold Classic).”
19) Peter McGough Flex Magazine August 2005
“Personally, the best physique I ever saw onstage (there was a contender for best-ever that I saw offstage: those crazy photos of sock-footed Dorian Yates taken seven weeks before the 1993 Mr. Olympia) was Ronnie's at the 2001 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic. He was cut, full, trim in the waist and a monster (proving that when you're supersharp, you look superbig) at 244 pounds. Ronnie sporting that look would, in my opinion, be unbeatable and would make any criticisms as redundant as a chocolate squat rack.”
20) FLEX ARTICLE - O CONTENDERS READY FOR BUSINESS
“Cutler, meanwhile, spoke about his bold promise to shave his famous head of hair if he loses and even called Coleman "the greatest bodybuilder of all time"
21) Flex Team – http://www.flexonline.com/training/49
“We’ve said before that the 245 pounds or so physique with which you won the 2001 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic is the best ever — unbeatable.”
21) Is Ronnie the Greatest Flexer of them all?
By Lonnie Teper MD December 2005
I've always said that it's too hard to compare athletes of different eras;
(Then he names a few Mr. Olympias including Dorian.)
Still, it's hard to imagine that anybody who's ever stepped on a bodybuilding stage
could have beaten Coleman.
So I reserve the right to change my mind on this one. No offense to the rest of the champs-
you were/are all truly amazing physique athletes-but Coleman has really taken it to the next
level, as all magnificent conquerors do.
Quote, Joe Weider:
"Many experts, including reigning Mr.Olympia, Jay Cutler, believe that at his best Ronnie has the greatest physique of all times. When looking at pictures of Ronnie from the 1998 Mr.Olympia, I find it hard to argue with that."
Eryk Bui:
Invincible Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman is the best of all time.
Victor Martinez:
He's the best ever...All past Olympians had something missing. But not Ronnie; he has everything.
Mike Matarrazo:
"Yeah, he's he's the best that's ever lived. I don't know what the future holds, but he's certainly the best I've ever seen in my lifetime.
Quincy Taylor: He's built up past the point of anything I've ever seen.
Melvin Anthony: Asked if Ronnie is the greatest bodybuilder ever..
Absolutely! He's in a class by himself.
Toney Freeman asked the same..
For Sure! He's at the top of the food chain.
Branch Warren: Yes, He's the best ever.
Capriese Murray:
Yeah, Definately. None of the past Mr. Olympias could possibly match his size and conditioning.
Craig Richardson: Asked if Ronnie is the greatest bodybuilder ever..
Yes. He didn't have the greatest body 10 years ago, now he's the best in the world.
Stan McCrary: Yes, He's the best ever.
Chris Cormier: I'd say back in 98-99 he was the best ever.
Aaron Baker: Yes, He's the best ever. He has produced a package that has yet to be surpassed.
Don Long: I am going to have to say yes he is the best ever.
Ron Harris: I think Ronnie is the best Mr. O ever.
Greg Valentino: Ronnie Coleman is the greatest bodybuilder ever.
Joe McNeal: Yes, He's the best ever. Without a doubt! That shouldn't even be a question.
King Kamali: Yes, Ronnie is the best Mr. O of all time, period!
Charles Glass: As of right now, Ronnie is the best of all time.
Dorian Yates: I think it's a little hard for me to comment as I think I am the greatest ever! (Laughs)"
Interesting Note during this question:
There were a couple of others who said Arnold or hinted at Haney but only one said Yates,
and that was the man himself.
Ryan Mackie - My 2003 Olympia Experience (Hosted on Bodybuilding.com):
"Everyone could see that at 287 pounds this was Ronnie's night and that he was back on top of his game and furthermore bodybuilding had just seen the bar of excellence raised even further. Just like Dorian Yates did in 1993 when he set a new standard, Ronnie has now taken it even further leaving all his competitors wonder what they have to do to now catch Ronnie Coleman, let alone beat him."
Paul Dillet stating that Ronnie has set standards that no one can measure up to. (yates name not even mentioned)
Paul Dillet - MD, February 2004
"Understand that if Ronnie walked away tomorrow, I do not think anyone can measure up to the standards he has set. Just like Sergio Oliva, an awesome bodybuilder way ahead of his time, and like Flex Wheeler, who had an absolutely perfect, beautiful physique. No one will match Sergio or Flex and now Ronnie."
Bob Cicherillo - PBW "2007 Olympia Prediction Show!" Show #89, September 24, 2007
"When we talk about Ronnie Coleman, we almost have to talk about him as different versions of Ronnie. You got the 1998 & 2001 version of Ronnie. At 100% there's not a soul on this planet or any other that can touch him. He would walk out on that stage, dominate everybody and walk away with his 9th Sandow."
Dexter Jackson - Flex, January 2004
"As to Ronnie, that dude is by far the best bodybuilder on earth, he is in a class by himself, and no one will be able to touch him for years to come."

“Ronnie is in a league by himself”
David Robson on Ronnie Coleman 2006 Mr. Olympia Preview:

“It has been said many times that Ronnie is in a class of his own”
Craig Titus on Ronnie Coleman Mr. Olympia 2003 Preview:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/dan11.htm
“Ronnie is an absolute freak of nature both on stage and in the gym. If anyone would like to argue with that, please feel free to purchase his training tape and see exactly what a freak does. Never have I seen such strength when it comes to a pro bodybuilder. Now on stage Ronnie has everything he needs to blow the competition away. He's in a class all by himself, period! No one and I mean NO ONE is even remotely close to the amount of muscle he carries and the density at which he carries it. Now we could go body part by part, but still he's the man with legs, shoulders, arms, delts, chest, he has them all beat. The only body part that he could get beat on is his calves.”
Myron Mielke on Ronnie Coleman:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/mielke29.htm
“Why not save the best for last? Ronnie has brought several looks to the stage through his bodybuilding career. Many agree his best look was at his Arnold Classic win in 2001. In 2003 he blew everyone away with the most incredible size and conditioning ever seen in a bodybuilding competition.”
Milos Sarcev - FLEX Issue September 2000:
FLEX Magazine Question: “In a line up of freaks, can the aesthetics of your physique earn you a better than your 10th-place finish last year?”
Milos Sarcev: “Absolutely. I’m looking forward to the 2000 Mr. Olympia because the contest is wide open – with the exception of first place, of course, which is occupied by the one bodybuilder who is both a mass monster and extremely symmetrical and aesthetic. Other than Ronnie, no one is unbeatable.”

dorian 95 would get totally overwhelmed by 2003 Ronnie.
lol overwhelmed thats funny Ronnie 2003 would look soft next to Yates 95 Dorian's dryness and density is unmatched

I've always said that it's too hard to compare athletes of different eras;

ND is obviously smart, but he doesn't place as much emphasis on a small waist and uninjured form as I do. Dorian in 1993 with a trimmer waist would definitely be an extremely dominant bodybuilder - perhaps enough to give a 2003 Ronnie a run for his money. As it is, I still maintain that Ronnie in 2003 was the best ever.
I don't really understand what ND meant about Frank Zane being superior to Shawn Ray though.

ronnie is smart enough to know the politics at work.
back in those days, the reigning Mr. or Ms. olympia never ever lost, no matter how deserving of a second or third place.
just look to 1994 Mr. and Ms olympias for all the verification you need..

Zane superior in terms of balance & proportion , posing & presentation , aesthetics , size NO because Shawn was shorter and a tad heavier so he was thicker but I think Zane is clearly superior in those aspects.

skin colour.
ND always picks the white bodybuilder over the black one even when the white person is getting owned: :-X
the rest of us only look at the merits of the physique.. :-X

Ha Ha ha nothing further from the truth did I or did I not say many times a Flex 1993 ASC would beat Yates? ;) thank you come again .
I also said I couldn't for the life of me figure out in 1993 how Dorian beat Flex ....until I learned why , give it a try sometimes , oh wait you said Dorian lost the 1993 Mr Olympia to Flex lol
and aren't you the same guy who referred to Dorian as ' the block white guy ' ? so much for merits of the physique lol

Sure sure because Shawn's physique is so balanced lol and where was he on that aesthetics list again? ;) I know Zane was number 3
and posting bad pics only proves your desperation
-
notice how when ever ND is made to look like a fool he always claims its because of "bad pics"..
yeah, sure.. ::)
zane looked like an emaciated swimmer next to Shawn, who owned him in every conceivable way:
-
Zane was way more ripped and far drier; it's not all about mass. Shawn's posing was more suitable for a woman. Oh yeah, Zane was also Mr. Olympia ;D
-
A lie? saying you have dismissed Dorian is a lie? lol again I don't care enough to look up specifics you're just like the other nutt-huggers lol you never dismissed Yates lol thats rich
I'm waiting. ;)
how did you lie? simple
oh, how easy you make this for me. Here's a list of people who said Ronnie is the greatest bodybuilder of all-time.
you added Dorian's name to this list , he never said this I called you on it and exposed you as a liar . simple case closed end of story. next..............
I already addressed this.
The irony of you of all people typing ' repeating yourself ' you of all people lol I find that funny :) wow Ronnie is the greatest of all-time ( hey did Dorian contribute to that list? ) o.k what does that mean? he won the most Olympias and he has the most pro wins , I have no problem with that it doesn't mean he would defeat Dorian Yates at his best and here is the kick in the balls what does the greatest bodybuilder of all time have to say about Dorian Yates? .......................y eah I thought so
you of all people shouldn't presume to speak for professional bodybuilders and magazine writers. You've already demonstrated your poor reading comprehension numerous times.
you didn't address that and that has NOTHING to do with you taking it out of context period , you omitted part of the statement for a very specific reason , even if later he said he was unsure lol later isn't another date that followed right after he said probably ( which in itself isn't definite ) bottom line you're attempting to manipulate words again , the whole quotes " Ronnie would probably beat me , I guess I don't know. "
This isn't definitive , it isn't concrete , it isn't concise again if I wanted to play with words like you the quote you keep posting about Arnold , Haney and Yates I could sum it by saying Ronnie said the following " I couldn't beat them. " end of sentence
why would Dorian admit Ronnie would beat him unless he didn't believe this?
I love how you've been reduced to bad mouthing Ronnie because he crushes your fantasies and I agree that he has been proven wrong on several occasions however his opinion isn't wrong because you disagree with it , in fact I would say The Greatest Bodybuilder of All-Time is more qualified to speak on the subject than some lowly ' Certified Personal Trainer " LMMFAO after all he's seen both himself and Dorian compete firsthand , he does after all have the most Olympia wins and the most professional contest wins , a man with dozens & dozens of years experience in competitive bodybuilder lol you can attack Ronnie all you want but the mans resume on competitive bodybuilding crushes anything you were ever accomplish so his word is gold and yours isn't worth pocket lint .. and what does Ronnie have to say on this topic on not one , not two , but three separate occasions? ......................ye ah I thought so
"been reduced to?" I've always said Ronnie's words carry little weight. He speaks like a retard and lied about his injuries. He also said he should have won the 06 Mr. Olympia even though he lost to Jay. This is the same man you're quoting to support your argument. ;)
-
Zane was way more ripped and far drier; it's not all about mass. Shawn's posing was more suitable for a woman. Oh yeah, Zane was also Mr. Olympia ;D
did you take out ND's dick from your mouth while you typed that? ::)
its not all about mass?
fuckin right its not:
1994 is a great lesson for you idiots on that subject.. ::)
dorian should have lost.

Keep waiting again I have no desire to prove my points its redundant especially you saying you never dismissed Dorian I'll leave that to stand on its own two feet
I already addressed this.
You typed a feeble attempt at damage control , you're exposed as a liar period.
you of all people shouldn't presume to speak for professional bodybuilders and magazine writers. You've already demonstrated your poor reading comprehension numerous times.
I'm not speaking for them first of all ! I post their quotes their words speak for themselves nice try at deflection
why would Dorian admit Ronnie would beat him unless he didn't believe this?
he never admitted it , stop propagating this lie , he said I guess at bare minimum thats NOT an admission of anything and in context he said " I DON'T KNOW. " keep playing with words and I'll keep exposing your pathetic logic.
"been reduced to?" I've always said Ronnie's words carry little weight. He speaks like a retard and lied about his injuries. He also said he should have won the 06 Mr. Olympia even though he lost to Jay. This is the same man you're quoting to support your argument. ;)
And this is also the Greatest Bodybuilder of All-Time and you're damn right I'm quoting him for several reasons , one he's speaking directly on the ' debate ' at hand and two his experience crushes YOURS regardless of his motivations for lying about being injured , The Greatest of All-time conceded defeat to Dorian Yates three times at various points in his career his words count a hell of a lot more than yours and why? because he was there and saw Yates ( and himself ) at his best & worse and his qualifications crush your pathetic " certified personal trainer ' degree
and to use your own stupidity against you " why would Ronnie admit Dorian would beat him if he didn't believe this? " lol
you're dismissed.

fuckin right its not:

dorian should have lost.
your ignorance prevents you from looking past your own stupidity , Dorian isn't just mass kid , he's mass , density , dryness , balance & proportion and posing & presentation ;) all of these factors are clear reasons why Dorian crushed Shawn , Ronnie , Nasser , Flex , etc
-
lol
I happen to like the physiques of peak ronnie, flex and shawn.
but so do about 5 billion other people too. :P
hulkster and his lame appeal to numbers lol such weak logic

I would say Shawn's lats looked much fuller and thicker than Zane's. Shawn's mass advantage went a long way.

I would say Shawn's lats looked much fuller and thicker than Zane's. Shawn's mass advantage went a long way.
Shawn does have the edge in thickness and mass but falls behind in balance & proportion , posing & presentation and aesthetics in my opinion .

You don't need to have written that Ronnie beat Jay by points word by word to have implied that.
bodybuilding is a visual sport, you idiot. How do you think the judges award points? By looking at the competitors. Just b/c 03 Ronnie and 95 Dorian are tied with straight firsts doesn't mean neither individual dominated their competition more than the other. We can clearly see the disparity between Ronnie and Jay was greater than Dorian and Kevin. Dorian was only a few lbs heavier with a torn biceps than a career-best Kevin while Ronnie was over 20 lbs heavier with better definition and shape than Jay.

I've always said that it's too hard to compare athletes of different eras;

How the hell is this NOT the "end-all" post for all the Ronnie vs Dorian threads?! >:(
Seriously, there's no comeback to this!
Everyone talks about how you can't judge a show by the photos, and how you have to see these guys in person....well who has a better view than their fellow competitors who saw Ronnie and Dorian on and off stage!! ::)
sorry, but all these Pros/fans/judges/critics/founders (ben weider) can't be wrong...
Dorian = above avg genetics + great response to drugs + intense work ethic = great Mr O
Ronnie = IDEAL bodybuilding genetics + great response to drugs + intense work ethic = GREATEST MR O

Natural Olympia - Personal Website

wow, ND just got OWNED!!! :o :o :o
-
bodybuilding is a visual sport, you idiot.
How about 1993 Mr Olympia? where Dorian was so fucking dominate the judges didn't even call him out in the muscularity round lol did that happen to Ronnie 2003? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ....................No ;)
-
Dorian isn't just mass kid , he's mass , density , dryness , balance & proportion and posing & presentation
yeah, just look at him: ::)
-
wow, ND just got OWNED!!! :o :o :o
right...along with anyone else who wants to argue with all them folk ;)
-
wow, ND just got OWNED!!! :o :o :o
fuck me you're to stupid , how did I get owned? I agree he's the greatest of all time lol
see Neo getting desperate .
and what does the greatest of all time have to say? ;)

yes, the judging was much more fair during ronnie's reign.
during his time, they were impartial and actually called out competitors..
its a real show of how impartial the judges were in 93 that they were prepared to do that..
::)

right...along with anyone else who wants to argue with all them folk ;)
oh fuck me another idiot , who is arguing those quotes aren't true? lol I agree with the gist of them , Ronnie is the greatest of all time ! and what does the greatest of all time have to say about beating Dorian? lol

I'm sure Ronnie never considered beating someone who was beneath him ;)

I never saw this posted before lol we all knew your excuses were coming
Dorian is the most dominate Mr Olympia winner ever .
so, you think it was right that the judges would do this? ::)
you think it is fair that judges who are supposed to be impartial and evaluate physiques as they seem them on contest day were prepared to award the win in a round to someone who they weren't even going to cal out?
you can't get out of this ND,
what the judges were preparded to do was partial. by definition.
sorry

Ronnie never thought he would be Mr O either, let alone the GREATEST MR O...next ;)
So you're Ronnie's press agent now? don't presume to speak for him its crystal clear what he said ;) on three separate occasions , and what did Ronnie say when asked if Jay could beat him? something about crack , something about being reborn with better genetics lol
don't try and play my game kid , Hulkster failed , Neo failed , pumpster , and now you ...next ;)

Dorian = above avg genetics + great response to drugs + intense work ethic = great Mr O
Ronnie = IDEAL bodybuilding genetics + great response to drugs + intense work ethic = GREATEST MR O
And yet despite ALL that self-congratulatory diahhrea, the end result is...

And yet despite ALL that diahhrea, the end result is...
You FEAR the good 97 pictures, and for good reason ;)
-
So you're Ronnie's press agent now?
yeah...what?!
don't presume to speak for him its crystal clear what he said ;) on three separate occasions
and this means something because.....???
, and what did Ronnie say when asked if Jay could beat him? something about crack
true...and who won that night? Stop owning yourself ;)
, something about being reborn with better genetics lol
don't try and play my game kid , Hulkster failed , Neo failed , pumpster , and now you ...next ;)
lets dance ;)
-
so, you think it was right that the judges would do this? ::)
you think it is fair that judges who are supposed to be impartial and evaluate physiques as they seem them on contest day were prepared to award the win in a round to someone who they weren't even going to cal out?
you can't get out of this ND,
what the judges were preparded to do was partial. by definition.
sorry
If it warrants it sure and Dorian 1993 was so far and above everyone else it called for it ! to quote Samir Bannout , Dorian was first ...second and third lol who did Ronnie beat in 03? Jay lol please Dorian dominated a much higher caliber field of competitors than Ronnie ever faced . thats skill thats total domination to beat the best at their best it just doesn't get any better than that lol
-
And yet despite ALL that self-congratulatory diahhrea, the end result is...
What does that pic accomplish? nothing except your bias this is Coleman 2003 looking just as shitty and he doesn't have the conditioning to go with it.

03 Olympia lol and pumpster has the balls to comment on Yates' midsection

LMFAO hahaha faggy OWNED
-
I'm sure Ronnie never considered beating someone who was beneath him ;)
why would he, when he was so far ahead:

you are missing the point. it doesn't matter how far ahead he was percieved to be, the point was it was the judges JOB to be IMPARTIAL.
which, by being prepaired to do this, they were NOT.
period.
-
why would he, when he was so far ahead:
So far ahead in terms of what? muscular bulk? NO density & dryness? NO balance & proportion? NO posing & presentation? NO
in Hulkster's fantasy criteria taper , sweep and tie-ins lol sure

shut your trap. You're just pissed that Coleman was never that dominant.

Posing pictures relaxed, back-stage, in the middle of a pose... Too easy.

again sure they were impartial you moron he won anyway , you think if they called him out in the muscularity round he was going to lose it? LOL hello idiot they didn't need to call him out for this round for a very good reason , they already seen enough in the symmetry round , it was redundant and accurate .
Dorian dominated a much higher caliber of feild than Coleman ever did .

Great post ! exactly it doesn't accomplish anything it just shows desperation and bias.

Great post and very true he is pissed that " the Greatest Bodybuilder of all-time " couldn't dominate men Yates destroyed lol and destroyed them much closer to their primes.

not needing to call someone out is about as biased and impartial as you can possibly get.
I am glad ronnie was called out all the time.
its way better to be judged properly and win than to get a win that is tainted by impartial judges who didn't give a shit how you looked..
-

You've resorted to similar tactics in the past so are you talking about yourself? lol

I'm curious why you think the judging became different for Ronnie. It was the SAME judges.

who cares if its the same judges.
the politics of the day were much different than they are now.
eg. Mr. Olympias are not unbeatable anymore.
back in dorian's day, they sure was hell were, but for all the WRONG reasons: :-\

shut the fuck up. Quit making excuses because Coleman looked like a sack of dogshit when he lost. He even lost in 2002 to gunther and was gifted 2001 and 02 olympias. Everyone knew Coleman should have walked away after 2005. I think it bothers you when you go to sleep at night that Yates dominated BBers that owned Coleman in the early to mid 2000s LOL.

Um.. Coleman dominated the various bodybuilders that beat Yates(Ray, Nasser and Levrone)! Oh, and if Coleman did infact lose in 2002, then he lost to Levrone, not Gunter. lol
The comparisons of Yates with his torn up left bicep to 2003 Ronnie are just silly! 2003 Ronnie was probably the largest bodybuilder ever to grace a pro stage when you take into account muscle and height ratio; 287 lbs of mass with unrivaled muscle bellies, plus great conditioning. A benchmark for all other freakshows to aspire to.

Why do you keep posting this picture? This is NOT impressive.
LOL, if it's not impressive, then post a better shot of yates hitting the same pose.

Iceman1981:
Please save that awesome post of yours...
and post it any time a "ronnie vs dorian" debate ever starts again...that post will end it quickly ;)
Np, but it gets over looked by the yates nuthuggers everytime. They just can't take their head out of yates a$$ to read it, LOL

wrong it was read , I don't even have a problem with it thats the meltdown part I agree he's the greatest of all time , the irony is you guys cling on for dear life to quotes about people claiming he's the greatest of all-time yet dismiss the greatest of all-time lol none of those quotes mean anything in the face of Ronnie himself saying he couldn't beat Dorian on three occasions lol so that was all for not pull that rabbit out of your hat anytime you'd like and you'll get crushed in two seconds by your own hero lol ;)
-
You've resorted to similar tactics in the past so are you talking about yourself? lol
That was always in response big difference , they fear great shots of Yates for a reason.
-

Again you keep claiming ' politics ' what difference would including Yates in the muscularity round have made? NONE he would have still won with straight firsts unless you're claiming he would have lost the muscularity round? you probably would lol you already claimed he lost the whole contest
that statement alone is in stark contrast to all 13 judges which shows how out of touch you are with how competitive bodybuilding YOU are , if their is a ' problem ' with a contest result its obviously YOU and not the judges because you've proven time in and time out YOU don't have a clue about how competitive bodybuilding is judged .
so whenever YOU claim the judges are wrong YOU will get laughed at because YOU are the same idiot who claimed Dorian lost in 1993/1995 etc , etc
-

Great post! If pumpster, hulkster et al. actually posted great Yates shots they'd shoot themselves in the foot and make their post moot. At least Yates' side doesn't resort to such lowly tactics; that tells you what we're working with here.
