Wouldn't it be easier these days to just buy her a house and give her a monthly stipend.  In the end that's what she'll get anyways.

Let me say this.....the problem begins when the women are little girls. For some fucking reason they are fed this bullshit about finding prince fucking charming, and the fairy tale takes off from there. Of course, little girls turn into grown women, and grown women for the most part grow up to be superficial (at least most in this country do).

So, these superficial bitches want a huge wedding, which is fucking retarded (since it's just one fucking day of your life), and a huge diamond ring....why, so they can show off to all the other bitches. Fucking pathetic.

For you fellow men with little girls, please, do your duty. Teach them proper. The last thing this world needs is more self absorbed, attention whores.

For the single men...do not marry. It's a no win situation. Let me tell you, I do not know ONE fucking happy marriage. Coincidence? Hardly. Marriage is an outdated idea, which has ran its course. Unfortunately, the religious nuts and the jewelers want us to believe that how things should be.  ::)

Don't get me wrong, there are exceptions. But very, very few. If you're young, DO NOT MARRY. Wait till you are older, if you must marry. A fucking wedding ring doesn't change a thing, people. In the end, she either wants to be with you or not. You shouldn't have to commit yourself for the rest of your life.

If you're gay, be thankful. At least you have an excuse for not being pressured into a marriage. People, learn from those of us who have been there.......

Like I said before. Marriage is hardly a win situation for most men.

It is better to be alone, than to have bad company....

Yeah, I'm young so I'm thinking at least another 10 years so I can accumulate everything I really want so it won't be community property.  I also plan to stash away so much cash that the whore will never know about.  In the end it is better to just date for a long ass time and keep both houses if you decide to marry.

DO NOT listen to what the women tell you.

Listen to YOURSELF.

30=still way too young.

Lotta life to go after that.

If you want a marriage to last you need to marry a woman that can hold her own.  She should be educated, with a job and you should do the same.  That will eliminate money problems which destroy most marriages.  Secondly, you and she should hold similar values which can be heritage (you're asian, she's asian), religion,  and opinions.  Thirdly, meet her family.  By looking at the woman's family, you are seeing what she will look like in the future and also where she came from as a person.   Then, you should have a test run.  Live with her at least a year to see if she is hiding anything from you about her personality, health and lifestyle.  If you follow this, and it turns out right for you, then this marriage should definitely last.

Wrong on this account.  That is the last thing to do to ensure that your relationships lasts.  IMO, finding a secure, mature woman who has a career is the best bet.  If she needs constant attention, needs to constantly party to enjoy life, and can't deal with alone time then you are looking for problems.  I am so glad I figured at least that much out so far in life.

Yeah I agree 30 still too young, Im 44 now and just getting a clue LOL.  Thing is people feel they have to get married before 35 or something is wrong with them and pressures from friends and family "why are you not married yet?"  "Are you gay?"

What is so wrong with a live together test run.  That seems like the most logical thing to do?

Eh, I can always give mom a little grand kid, I'll just be paying child support not alimony...lol.

It is the easiest way for one to not take marriage seriously and to ruin a current relationship.  Older generations really had this one right.

Spending more time together is good but from experience it screws up a good thing.  I also did a lot of academic research for a thesis paper; needless to say 20 pages (research paper) later I learned a lot, all of which applied to my life.  There are so many negatives to cohabitation that can be seen in both gay and straight couples, one of the most common is violence.

Basically, in cohabitation you learn that you can walk away from a seriously committed relationship and that carries over to marriage.

That's part of the problem, right there. People such as friends and usually family, trying to tell you what to do. My mother was always that way. Always pressuring, "when are you gonna marry? Blah blah blah." What didn't help was her stupid religious beliefs, which she was always imposing on me. Cause you know, "god" is really concerned about me boning chicks I'm not married to. Instead of say....the non-stop wars, crimes, starvation, et cetera, around the world.  ::)

I swear, it's like they want you to be miserable as well.

In your case, the whole "are you gay?" thing.....well, you do like to stand on stage in your underwear... :-\

haha, Good stuff.  Same on the "future princesses" being raised.  Reminds me of my ex girlfriend.  Biggest goal in life, get a ring, have a big generic guido wedding...haha, pathetic. :D  In general, women are pretty unintelligent.  This may come as a shock to some people, I know. ::)  I will say, through excessive daily breast meditation, my head was so spun...I was actually considering marriage..haha  Careful, oversized titties on a regular basis, will seriously fuck up your head. ;D
