I had two chocolate chip cupcakes yesterday and another one today. I also ate some of a donut this morning. Thankfully, it tasted like shit, so I threw it away.
I've got fat to trim and need to have a sexy midsection by late July.

Holy shit, how'd you know it was her ass who'd bought that shit?? You're right, though. Baby mama bought the cupcakes yesterday and then wanted to go get donuts for her Mother's Day breakfast today. I ate my egg whites this morning, then an hour later, I've got a tummy ache over a shitty ass donut. I hate her.

Overeating sugar causes me to gather up more belly fat than anything else I've seen. The skin on my face is ok, though.

If you work hard through the week, one day of that junk will not hurt you much, if at all.
Do your weights, cardio and schmoeing Monday through Friday or Saturday, and if you eat a full pizza, donuts and have 3-4 beers on Sunday your progress will not be hindered.
Your condition may suffer a bit, but your not jumping on the Olympia stage, so why not have a good shit day each week?

I'm in the middle of doing this myself.
So far today, I've had a quart of ice cream (equals your two pints), 2 Reese's PB Cups+2 more Big Cups, a pan of cinnamon rolls from Svenhards bakery, a bag of Lay's Kettle Cooked potato chips, and I'll probably have a night cap of a large Big Vinny pizza from Round Table.
But, not to get in a pissing contest with you, I didn't anything from 8am (the ice cream) till 4pm. Too lazy. And I have a huge appetite.

If I'm not concentrating on staying lean, or what I consider to be "offseason," I will have a piece of candy or a donut here and there with my protein. Basic rule for me during this stage is, whatever I have eat I have to have X amount of protein and anything else is fine.
But this is the first real time I've been able to maintain being lean as I am. Every other time I've gotten down to what I like to maintain, my company ships me off to a place where I can't control my diet (road food!), or as in the past, I've had to go out on tour and Flying J truck stops don't exactly supply much decent food other than a diet soda and beef jerky!

Donuts and cup cakes are no problem on a cut. I would generally advise against eating anything that doesn't taste good though.

tre is the typical cool black guy with a good 40 pounds of bodyfat still to lose that white people like more than normal blacks (wiggs fits in here too) but somewhat failed miserabley in falling into the hypnosis of a one way to diet only diet :'(

I really don't get it. There is zero scientific evidence that "junk" food has any effect on body composition as long as a few basic rules are followed. Even worse, there isn't even a definition of "junk" food that makes any sense.

By cutting out my non-dietary sugars, I got my weight down to 191. It was a goal of mine to be that light again, but I'd burned away what little muscle I had left to get that low.
And then I started eating candy. For about 10 straight days, I was probably eating some 400-500 pure sugar calories...and didn't gain a lb. By the time I came to my senses after a near 3-week binge, the belly was back. It's not as huge as it was before I began training and dieting, but still, it was noticeably bigger. So, I went back to my intense training and eating right at the start of this month....but I need to resist those temptations.
Thankfully, I've still got 10 weeks to be semi-pool ready. :)

What science are you referring to?
GI has been scientifically shown to be completely irrelevant for body composition.
Of course you lost weight by cutting sugar, you created a caloric deficit.
What does matter to body composition (beside the deficit) is enough protein intake and intense weight training.

You can have a chicken breast cooked at home that will be "full of nutrition and dense calories with vitamins and minerals." Or you can go to Burger King for a chicken sandwich, and it's breading with no vitamins/minerals and an over-processed amount of protein that is probably 1/3 less than what you would get had you cooked the chicken at home.

I think we would have to distinguish between micro amd macro nutrients. What counts at the end of the day is that minimum nutritional requirements are met for the micros and that macros are setup for optimal body composition. You can be deficiant of both micros and macros eating a "clean" diet just as well as a "junk" diet.

I sincerely believe that athletes will perform and transform better by sticking strictly to foods they personally like the taste of. Even better, stick to foods you LOVE the taste of, and this includes traditionally "unclean" stuff. Food affects mood, mood affects ergogenesis, and ergogenesis affects body composition. If you walk around dragging your ass through the day because you're dreading the next meal, you're ultimately worse off than the guy who's eating everything he likes (in amounts within the framework of the goal), and translating that psychosomatic energy into increased training power output.

Well my problem is a i drink and eat a shitload on the weekends. So during the week i really restrict all my calories. If i didn't go so crazy on the weekends i think this type of diet might work for me.

Yeah but starting friday night i eat bad and get wasted. Then saturday i head to the pool around 2pm and drink all day, when i eat on saturday it isn't good food (i.e. mcgriddles at 5:30 in the morning), then sunday I eat pretty solid again but do absolutely zero physical activity.
