You're a strong little dude. The deadlift was almost 3X your bodyweight!
I don't think you have to verify the plates are real on a 225lb bench though. :)

Invented the most amazing abdominal workout. Put a 2 lb ball between your ankles and do a reverse crunch type motion but in a wave like fashion. Also using the ball, rotate your legs in a wind shield type motion for obliques. WIN!

Salty Beef Jerky + Sweet Cinnamon Raisin Peanut Butter makes the ultimate sweet/salty pre bed snack. It is high in protein and VERY filling and when you eat it slowly it is great.
I highly suggest it. It needs a SWEET/Sugary Peanut Butter though, or else it'll just be kinda gross.

Haha. I am dieting hardcore! I lost 14 pounds since I began my cut. I went from 163 earlier this summer to about 149. Ending it at 148 :).

Thanks guys. I bust my ass everyday and even though I don't have the greatest genetics, I am slowly changing my body to something I can be proud of... I need to see a doctor though. I had the same glute injury for 3 months (Deadlifting 400 for 3 put all my weight on my left glute). Almost blacked out yesterday (log below)

It was only 85 pounds. Nothing difficult. I've been doing 135 pounds lately, the hardest part/most limiting part of the push press. Everything else is fine.

I've been doing 85 as well until my shoulders get stronger. I love the workout though.

My tips are to work on these things separately on different days and combine it all in the end of the week.
So day 1) Push Press
Day 2) Front Squat
Day 3) Cleans
Day 4) Bear

I actually was on a cut. I'm taking this week off because I'm moving so I need to finish all my food and my birthday is in two weeks :)

hey man pretty kick ass thread here i just gave it a look, youve made some good progress and pretty stout for your size...oh yea that wrap a few posts down is that a gyro? if so those are one of my favorite foods...did you make that or buy it if you want i have a kick ass gyro burger recipe but instead of using lamb the meat is 100% lean beaf.....all the pictures you put up though look delicious...you should put a recipe book together with all the creative recipes youve put together...although i would be only interested in the "bulking" foods as i am what you would call a permabulker although im not big (yet) i usually eat real clean just in large amounts but its not as easy to gain size when not eating things like fast food, pizza and beer...i have my days though when i just eat whatever and as much as possible followed with as many Jack Daniels chased with Budlight...<----my favorite combo of all time anyways good log keep up the hard work...

Official bulk starts after maintenance period. Maintenance period will be 100 calories per day until I hit the 3.5k calorie mark. I'll plateau there a while to watch weight gain. After that I may go up to 4.5k to 5k depending on where my body takes me. There will be a meet within the coming months :P

Not much, probably. It's pretty mild right now, sorta like a regular flu but it's slightly more fatal to some people.
Have you tried Imitrex for the headache's? It does a good job for me and I get severe headaches also.

I typically don't take things for headaches. I don't really keep too much medicine in my apartment. I probably should, I just never found one that effectively worked.

Not trying to sound like a buzzkill but I've worked two very bad longboard accidents in the last year. The first one the guy died and the second one we thought he was going to die but he survived. Both accidents were on borrowed boards with no helmet.

Ouch. The longboarding community stresses wearing helmets. I think I should just swallow my pride and wear a helmet too. I have all the pads, but sometimes the ego makes you do stupid things.

Wanted to do car pushes for a while now. Decided today was the day I would give it a try. I did about four runs down my cul-de-sac back to back without rest.
I underestimated how hard the strongmen work. Immediately when I got home, I puked up everything I ate. Never had such violent vomit in my life. I have a new found respect for these guys.
I pushed a Camry LE (3500 pounds with my dad inside) on a slightly downhill course. The car was put into neutral and I let it go when I felt the momentum and gravity take the car.
I definitely want to try these again, hopefully without barfing.
