No. He has never owned one before.
This is his gym and in Barcelona.
-
No. He has never owned one before.

Ah ok, I must be thinking of another bodybuilder in Spain.
Whats in like in Barcelona these days, is it expensive to live there. Been there a few times, was looking to work out there a while back, but never happened.
-
Marcos Chacon, another spanish IFBB PRO, owns two gyms in Almuņecar (Granada).
Thanks for the vids, Kyomu

-

I will say this to him.
How terrible is?
-
look at the movement, the lats extend the humerus and adduction, they have a very small role in thoracic extension. He is arching his back at the end of the movement making the ROM shorter and thus activating other muscles. He is bringing the weight to his hip making the rom shoter again as he is not horizontal, more like 60degrees. Let the dumbell drift forward on the eccentric portion to increase the flexion/stretch on the lats, and bring it up in a slight arc to mid back, thoracic level with no back arching.
It's just simple biomechanics, some people say this works best for me etc, but we are 99% the same, and there are to many extraneous variables to make that comment like people do. Muscle responds best to slower eccentrics and explosive concentrics through full ROM.
-
I don't get it..is he a pro or something !?!?
why doesn't he learn english ?
-
good video
what is going on with the one-arm DB rows?
-
No. Its not so expensive(Ok i dont know where you live. It depends).
Are you a spanish?
No not spanish, mish mash from Scotland :-) But living in London, stupidly expensive here, but heard that Barcelona is not too cheap either, so was wondering.

Good post. I will talk about this.

What proof do you have that it does?

I am sorry but that is a truly awful back routine. I would expect it from a third tier pro I guess. Why does he compete again?
-
kyomu, what other body parts are ya planning to film?..
-
Whats your bicep routine Kyomu?
-
Cool to see him train... waiting for an arm vid...
-
One thing I noticed is Paco is still doing pulldowns behind the neck, this exercise really can cause a lot of problems in the back, shoulders, and neck in one go, especially if using heavy weights.
-
Great vid "from the trenches" Kyo!
Thanx! ;D

That is. Thats why we do it very light.

Every bodyparts!!
I hope it will grow to 1000chapters(serious)

As you guys say, his arm is not the thing of this world.
Stay tuned.
-
Kyomu always laughing on camera ;D

Damn what a arm there looks as if no oil as well, did he wear deoderant for this shot? If not the guy under his arm maybe having to leave soon :D

No oil at all.
If you touch,His arms are hard as rock(No homo)
Curiously, he doesnt have odor.

I dont think so his head wouldnt fit in the photo.

Ok third tier pro who won 2 shows. ::)
And I prefer to train with Paco more than Melvin or another aethetic guys.
His physique is way more impressive than those guys.

You will see in the up coming chapter. So stay tuned!! ;)
Not only about bbing, he will talk also about the thing like Tiger woods in the future.

Paco won TWO PRO show yes.. and was it not in Spain both times? Hmmmmmm... Also if I remember correctly from the video/pictures Markus was the clear winner.
3rd tier pro unfortunately is correct.. just check where he placed on his last outings on the pro circuit in 2009
:-\

Picture tells lie often and video not. I was there and i say he managed to win suffering the first one. But second one, he was a clear winner and even i placed Markus 4th.
And judging panel. Only two spanish judge was there. Unlike another american show which is more than 99% of judges are american.
If you dont know very well. Better shut your mouth. ;)

peer reviewed articles.

More of Kyomu training prease!!!!!!!!! :P

Biceps of a Mr.Olympia
So I'm guessing he's a 3rd or 4th tier pro..
-
So I'm guessing he's a 3rd or 4th tier pro..
He is like Jim Quinn.
The guy had tons of muscle and quality more than anybody in 80s.
But, he was 3rd tier only because of his structure.
So then i say this.
Same 80s super star, Lee Labrada, 1st tier pro.
Jim or Labrada, which guys training you want to see?
-

Exactly, I always try to model my training after guys that carry a lot of muscle yet have a less than perfect structure. Gotta make the best out of what you got.
-
Paco is a huge whatever race he is bastard with muscles.
-

Then this video series are for the people like you.
Today, a part of chest training.

I seem to recall a study saying fast eccentrics were "better"

Looking good, both of you :)
Now I understand why they call him "el toro", you need earplugs to train with him ;D
Why start with a isolation exercise? I never understood the effectiveness of pre exhaustion

Its a warm up exercise. But we do it to the failure. ;D

I can hear that, I guess you guys only train once the gym is closed ;)
But seriously why not a rowing exercise to warm up all involved muscles?
-
why the screaming?
-
If you touch,His arms are hard as rock(No homo)
Curiously, he doesnt have odor.
;D

why the screaming?
To keep the bulls on a save distance

Get a life you wanna-be bodybuilder.. what are you 50 weeks out of your show now? Get dieting son ;)
For your information I was there at BOTH shows and Paco should have been 2nd at BEST both time. Many said 4-5th.
::)
ps - stop screaming during sets.. it's pathetic! I can see a little grunt for the last rep.. but screaming full force like your ass is on fire from the first rep? Please..
-
my only small bit of advice esp ur still plenty of wks out is to do at least a few sets of 6/8 rep sets with as much as u could handle with form to keep muscle dense as ur leaning out.
-
I seem to recall a study saying fast eccentrics were "better"
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11606016
1. the power of that study is low at best.
2. it was one muscle unilaterally, and a small one, which would lead me to conclude that overtraining in the slow group was evident, as it causes more microtrauma.
3.We conclude that neuromuscular adaptations to eccentric training stimuli may be influenced by differences in the ability to cope with chronic exposure to relatively fast and slow eccentric contraction velocities. Possible mechanisms include greater cumulative damage to contractile tissues or stress induced by slow eccentric muscle contractions
4. 3.supports myconjecture

Paco has horrible form and he is not strong for his size!
-
I can hear that, I guess you guys only train once the gym is closed ;)

My lat is my best bodypart and i adjust his style since paco has a problem to feel lat. Thats why we start with the isolation exercise of lat for him to feel it.
-

lol he benches 225 on incline in the smith machine for about 8 reps.
-
lol he benches 225 on incline in the smith machine for about 8 reps.
Many people see always the weight only.
For note, I witnessed he did 8 reps of front shoulder smith machine press with 190kg.
We are building muscle. Not lifting.

Provide the references.
why? i argue with everyone on here all the time, no one backs shit up with anything, i continually provide references that go un-read, i have posted articles on this exact topic twice now. fast concentrics, or explosive speed, that is perceived recruits more motor-neuron units, Hence more musclular adaptation and utilization. Slow concentrics provide more microtrauma which makes it harder to recover, but more adaptation.
honestly who are you and why should i waste my time arguing with you? do you know anything about physiology, or am i wasting my time?
= amphetamine induced rage ftw, i'll recover bix.

As simply as it.
The only true about training.
Short and right.

Kata, maybe you should share Paco's real secret to get big video. Then all getbigers can see ;D
Anyway, thanks for sharing.
then he would be arrested ::)
