Best legs, mid 80's Ivan Putski . . . came to the wring in Connecticut to introduce / tag with Scott ( his son) they call it getting over or putting someone over. Ivan in a leopard print bathing suit ( not trunks ) 1/2 boots and legs so developed, so ripped THE BEEF shit!!!
Mid 90's Davey Boy Smith returned to the wring in WCW . . . corn rows, dark tan, with the union jack as a cape . . . mother fucka took the flag off and THE BEEF again shit!!!
Hands down DBS best upper body in wrestling history.

true story ---> years ago the Iron Sheik came to the Gold Coast (Australia) with some touring WWF-style show....it was at the end of his career of course and he was on his last legs...anyway, had a mate who use to won a gym down there near Surfers Paradise....he was locking up one Saturday (gyms tended to close by 12pm back in the 80/90s around Brisbane and Gold Coast - f'king sleep towns) and up comes this crazy-looking, middle-eastern dude - he goes "I must train?"....my mate goes "hell no, I'm closing"...this dude goes "please, I must train, I am the Iron SheiK"....blah blah blah - they come to an agreement....my mate goes "ok, but I''ll have to lock the place up as I'm leaving and can't come back till late afternoon. You won't be able to get out until I'm back"......to cut a long story short, he comes back at around 4pm and the Sheik is still training...some 4 hours later....f'king animal....
-
Batista, Ultimate Warrior and Big Poppa Pump comes to mind when you say most jacked.

Wayne Coleman(Superstar Billy Graham) impressed me the most. Rugged, without looking cartoonish.

By the way, Tony Atlas is STILL jacked. He came by my gym a few months ago and here he is at 64 yers old.
-
Define Jacked?
We talking large and in charge, definitely Warlord, Barbarian and Road Warriors....
We talking cut and shredded:
Rick Rude
Ultimate Warrior
Achim Albrecht
Lex Luger (find pics of him in 91/92) he was supposedly training to compete in the WBF but had that Motorycle Accident
-

Damn 64 with still huge arms nice pic.

While he isn't "all time" material , their is a worker named "Prince Devitt" who wrestles in NJPW who has a very aesthtec physique. Plus, the guy is amazing in the ring

Tony Atlas was definastly the most jacked wrestler and the srongest wrestler of all time.
At his biggest Tony was 280lbs and had 23 1/2 arms a 30" waiste a 60 inch chest and 31" thighs.
These numbers are right from Tony Atlas's mouth.
Tony won the Mr USA title 3 times, and won numerious bench press contests.
Tony, has benched, I beleive 650lbs raw .I seen him personaly bench 600 lbs for a double.
He was at George Eifermans gym at the time.Back in 1985.He was bigger and stronger then both of the road warriors.
At the time Hulk Hogan was there to.This is when Hulk Hogan claimed his arms were 24".
I asked Tony and the Road Wrriors if they thought Hulk Hogans arms were really 24".They said hell no.
Then they dared me to walk up and ask Hulk Hogan if I could measure his arm to see if they really were 24".
So I did, and off course he denied the challenge.I was only 18 years old at the time. Its a true but funny story
.At this time they are wrestled for the ABA.A small wresteling organization out of Meinessota, owned by Verne Gagne.
I Used to endorse Tony, and I still send him free product all the time.
Tony is a great guy, and really down to earth.
His real name is Anothny White, he was BORN in Ronaoke Virginia.
His friends used to call him the big Oak from Ronaoke, lol.
He does live in Main still. He was a personal trainer, and now is with the WWE.
Tonay Atlas was my mentor when I was growing up.After I met him at Eifermans gym, I knew I wanted to be a bodybuilder.
He was cool, strong and had a gorgeous wife. What 18 year old wouldnt want all that

Tommy Lister had size.
-
I saw that too but he insists that he is 64. He's been in here a few times and tells everyone that he is 64 and how he is ten years older than hogan. He gave me a photo for the wall of the gym of him holding Hogan high in the air for a body slam during a old match. Either way he is a real neat guy to talk to. He'll sit there for hours with anyone and tell old wrestling stories.
Atlas is only 55 according to Wikipedia.
-
Yeah I recall hearing that somewhere sometime (that's he's older than his listed b-day). Not sure why he'd do that...most people do it the other way around!

You are not calling out Rick Rude noname? suprised at this..
-
I think Big Poppa Pump in about 97 or 98 was the most jacked ever. For about a year he hit a peak where he was looked freaky as hell. All the other guys whown in this thread were a step behind him. Or they had Steiners size but not his cuts.
-
You are not calling out Rick Rude noname? suprised at this..
i would never put Rick Rude in the same class as billy graham, the ultimate warrior or kerry von erich cuz, unlike those three, Rude was actually a good worker
btw, did i mention how fucking hot lacey von erich
she's as dumb as a post but goddamn that is she hot

Serious a good interview with Rick Flair
From my point of view, Ric Flair is highly overrated. He may have had his time back in the day, but has hardly had a respectable match in over 20 years. Fundamentally, he's a "routine man" in the ring. For years now, he's been reduced to yelling "woooo", giving shops and flopping around the ring like a jelly fish.
From an interview standpoint, he can be hilarious and pretty entertaining, but there seems to be an aura of mystique that has purposely been built regarding Flair's career, that I don't get. Recently, Flair has come across like a bitter man, trashing esteemed colleagues in the business, as a means to prop himself up. If he is so secure in what he has accomplished in his career, why the need to belittle other legends? Ok Ric, we get it already. You went 60 minutes with Bruiser Bordy, Harley Race, ......Now retire already.

Yet, Flair couldn't draw for shit when he arrived in the WWF in the early 90's. So much so, that Vince took the strap off him shortly after he got the belt, and a short time later Flair went back to WCW. Flair, for all of his alleged talent as a worker, had no clue about ring phsycology. He'd work over an ankle for ten minutes, to suddenly stall the match with a rear chin lock. For years, Flair was a big fish in the little pond called NWA/WCW. He wrestled in front of empty seats, while the guys from up north sold out MSG. Woooooo!
-
i gota say this guy...
Is there really any argument here? Cena, Luger, Rude all looked good but when I think "jacked" I think of this guy...
-
Not only was the jacked out of this world, he was also one of the fastest and strongest athletes in pro wrestling history. 2 Time All American NCAA wrestler at Michigan State, definite badass on the street. Show and go.
-
he looks full of synthol though
-
he looks full of synthol though
Steiner had huge arms way prior to the introduction of synthol. Then around 1998, he really blew up overall.
-
Cena has probably some of the best genetics...
-
That is correct, he was huge before synthol was even invented. His arms even had the exact same structure/shape. Also, I dont know where anyone even sees signs on synthol on his body. Cutler, Kai, Wolfe all look more synthol induced than Scott ever did. Besides, how is it possible for him to do 120lb dumbell curls if his arms are all synthol??? Dont understand why people completely overlook this guys genetics as well....? Keep the baseless jealous comments coming though they are indeed entertaining in the least.
-
superstar billy graham, that racist/homophobe "the ultimate warrior or Kerry Von Erich could do any of the stuff this stud can do
i will give props to Kerry though for helping make Lacey Von Erich..........oh, and that whole "wrestling with one foot" thing
Damn, I didn't realize his daughter wrestled! Just goes to show how long it's been since I watched.
I read an article in the local newspaper a couple years back about Kevin Von Erich's son when he was playing high school football and he said he was considering professional wrestling as well.
Looks like the ole Iron Claw gimmick might have another generation or two left in it.

Woooooo!
You really are clueless, so here is a little lesson for you. Flair was selling out arenas all over the world throughout the early to mid 80's when it was the NWA. To put the two together shows what a WWF mark/homer you are. Those two organizations were vastly different. Flair when traveling with the NWA would go to different territories almost every night and put asses in the seats by putting over (whether winning or losing he ALWAYS put over the talent) the contender for the title. The WCW era was garbage and Flair was vastly underused.
As for his "no ring psychology" and not being able to work a match....are you f'n kidding me with that bullshit? ALL the top workers consider him one of the top workers/performers of all-time....but hey "Mr. 1derful" on getbig thiinks he couldn't draw or work..... ::)
Now, go nuzzle your nose back in VKM's ass and leave discussion of wrestling to those who actually know a little about it, pal. 8)

I think it's obvious your a mark for the Nature Boy. Nothing you have stated refutes that Flair couldn't draw and Vince pulled the belt off him. Odd, for the guy who is allegedly the greatest of all time, wouldn't you say? Flair couldn't sell out MSG. Steamboat, as an example, was a far better worker than Flair. Yes, Flair could be entertaining on the mic, but he usually reduces himself to a pseudo comedy act. Flair is a classic "routine man", nothing more. Chopping and "wooing", that's about it. Oh, I forgot about the obligatory thumb to the eye. He may have had a few good years in the early 80's, but somehow everyone thinks that erases decades of deplorable matches and makes him the greatest? Kurt Angle in his prime is better than Flair ever was. Flair couldn't lace Angle's boots. Not to mention that Flair stole his gimmick. Ever hear of the Nature Boy Buddy Rogers?
Flair is broke and owes a ton of money to the IRS. He also ripped of ROH for $40,000 worth of apperance fees that he was paid up front. Vince gave him one of the greatest send offs ever, but instead of retiring with some class, he comes back time and time again, making a mockery of the send off he was given. Flair's reputation as the greatest of all time is a complete work and a joke.
-
He was the first guy to bench press 700 lbs Ted Arcidi. I think is still around.
actually i think it was james williams from scranton pa and the pa penial system benched 700 lbs first, he was training partners for awhile with john kuc.

HBK, HHH, Austin, Hogan, Benoit, etc... have all said that Ric Flair is the greatest wrestler of all-time, but hey Mr. 1derful knows better than any of those guys.
And to knock Flair's promo's? He is by far, the best of all time and nobody else is even close. Ask the guys in the business, and they will all say the same thing, but again Mr. 1derful knows more than they do cause he read somebodys opinion on Flair who had an axe to grind. I would accuse you of being Scott Steiner, but you sound slightly more intelligent.
It's so obvious, like I pointed out before, that your nose is so buried in McMahon's ass that you can't see out.

Not for nothing but Cary is a HUGE money-mark and he would have been ripped off by a Legend sometime down the way. I mean, that is why Money Marks exist- to be ripped off by Legends
also, Cary should think of it as Karma for having sex with his jobbers i.e. Alex Payne and Larry Sweeney (well, Larry wasn't a jobber but you get the picture)

Not to mention, how does any of that have a thing to do with Flair being a good worker or on the mic?
-
I always thought Flair sucked.
I've been watching wrestling since the mid 80's and always thought Flair was stupid and obnoxious. Very repetetive and caveman-like. Whoo Whooo Whooo a million fucking times.
-
Not to mention, how does any of that have a thing to do with Flair being a good worker or on the mic?
oh, nothing at all
....i just wanted to mention that Cary Silkin is a filthy old schmoe/Money Mark who pays "young boys" to go to Puerto Rico with him (amongst other things)
-
Back in around 2000 I was lucky enough to see him train arms at a gym in Toronto a few hours before a WCW PPV and I dont think I've ever seen anyone with arms that look like his lifting what he was. 200lb preacher curls, 365lb close grips, guys arms are freaky strong. He's also got a recent workout video/DVD posted on Youtube where it shows him doing the 120s fairly easily. F*$kin damn impressive for a guy in his late 40s.
whoa cool,,, that vid must be kinda new,,, just checked those promo links out...

wrestling is what it is always was,a soap opera from reality ,but 70'80's that carried that belief more believable good vs bad, country vs country, manager characters,,,today its mic work ,few slams, mic wk and lets build up to another pay per view and air out the laundrey at the next monday night raw,,back in the day wrestlemania, survivior series nuff said.

all in all superstar graham at least in terms of charisma, build, look ,has had countless influences on many wrestlers.
He was the first ever "big and bad" pro wrestlers, not to mention he was a huge powerful guy while his peers were all fat slobs ie Flair.
-
I know it's cliche' but the guy was way ahead of his time
Absolutely!
Before Superstar, a heel would only be a transitional champ, so another face could then win the strap back for the good guys. But Graham held the title for 9 months, and I believe sold out Madison Square Garden everytime he headlined it. He could have turned face and held the belt for a much longer time and remained popular. Even staying a heel he was becoming the biggest attraction.
Vince McMahon admits he took the belt off him too soon. But boring-ass Bob Backlund allowed the WWWF to develope more interesting heels to challenge for the belt. Superstar could have easlily crossed over to part face like the Rock did 2 decades later.
All pompous heels owe a little to Gorgeous George, who I am sure helped inspire Buddy Rodgers. But many many wrestlers patterned their persona off Billy Graham and Ric Flair. I think Flair himself admitted to borrowing some of Graham's act into his promos. Superstar himself admits to bitting off of Muhamad Ali's style of rhyming about how good he was.
But many wrestlers copied Graham directly like Jessie Ventura, Hulk Hogan and Rick Steiner. From ring attire, persona and big jacked physique.

Thats why Flair was better.....he did everything on his own, there were no writers during his heyday. His older mic work from 80's was his best.

I never knocked Flair's promos, in fact I generally tend to find them pretty entertaining. Keep in mind that for a time in WCW, Flair was also a head booker. In 1991, Flair refused to do the honors and drop the title to Barry Windham. Eventually, Flair showed up in the WWF with the WCW belt and in the process, shamelessly crapped all over the history of the territory that made him. I've always wondered why he has been given such a free pass on this act.
Ric has never been able to do anything but his one routine match, which consists of cartoon high spots borrowed from Jackie Fargo, along with an assortment of tired old ripped off Buddy Rogers spots. At a Saturday Night’s Main Event TV taped match in 1992, Flair worked a match with Randy Savage, where he did nothing that he was supposed to in the ring. Vince ordered the match to be completely re-shot, yet still Ric could not impress. Ask Randy Savage about Ric Flair's ability as a worker. Austin has said that Steamboat, not Flair, was the greatest worker he was in the ring with. Everyone knows that most of the time back in the 80's and early 90's, WCW wrestlers worked in front of empty chairs in empty arenas. Watch Flair's DVD and you'll see exactly that, with Flair having the same match with every opponent.
Prior to Flair arriving in the WWF, everyone thought he and Hogan would set the world on fire at Wrestlemania VIII . That clash didn't happen. They ran a house show with the two main-eventing against each other in Madison Square Garden which didn’t sell out, causing the WWF to abort the feud at that time. Hogan then went to try his hand at a failed career as an actor, with Flair getting the WWE Championship at the 1992 Royal Rumble. To suggest that the title belt didn't hold significance in the late 80's and early 90's is false. Are you suggesting that the company poured money into marketing a champion, without the intent to experience a financial benefit? Not only do you not have a clue about wrestling, but you are devoid of any business sense. Flair himself stated that he felt good that the WWF trusted him to carry the company. Yet, his run was cut short and he was asked to drop the belt after six weeks. He wasn't drawing, which is a historical fact. Not long after, he left to return to WCW.

Everything you posted just strengthens my contention that you are nothing more than a VKM/WWF mark. You don't even mention the NWA, my guess is because you know nothing about it, and just harp on the WCW, which I clearly stated was a very, very different organization than the NWA from all standpoints. You mention Savage....did you know the entire match that was such a classic between him and Steamboat was rehearsed leading up to that match? I'm sure you didn't. Flair could work with anybody at the drop of a hat and put them over. Like I said, talk about Steamboat all you want, he was a fine worker, but Flair MADE him into a star in the mid-atlantic. I watched it week to week.....you probably read about it on somebodies blog and are now an "expert."
I'll just leave it at this, and we can agree to disagree. Guys like Michaels, HHH, Benoit, etc.... think Flair is the best of all-time. I put their opinion over one internet troll who clearly just watched the cartoonish WWF of the late 80's/early 90's, instead of the NWA during the 80's.

You have yet to refute anything I have stated, as you simply can't. Indeed, the opinions of HHH and HBK, close friends of Flair no less, should be gospel above all else. Go put your bath robe back on and go "woooing" around your house some more.

That is my opinion. I didn't accuse, I just said he looked it. I'm probably wrong. Also, I can place ahead 100 physiques that I'd rather be jealous of, lol.

Ric Flair is one of the best, hands down.
That being said, I think he should have retired after his impressive match against Big Van Vader at the 93 starcade (?)...that was probably the true peak of his career. After that Hogan came to WcW and Flair was forced to constantly job to him over the next few years, which IMO, he never really recovered from.
I am going to take some flack for this, but I think that Shane Douglas gave the best interviews in Pro Wrestling... he never quite went as far as he should have.

there was a tagteam in the late 80s whose gimmick was that they were professional bodybuilders or something......these guys were huge, and unlike most jacked wrestlers had legs too
forget what their name was.......

You're saying he's in his late 50's today? WHAT? No, he isn't.

Batista has a horrible build.
Good call adding Moraco.
I guess you have to throw Brock in this mix.
After all the posts, I'd have to say no one is truly more jacked than Arcidi. Fucking beast.
-
Rock was better, but it was all scripted.
Flair's surely wasn'[t scripted!

No, I said his workout video is recent where he is in his late 40s. I say him train in his late 30s. Way to read my post properly there, jack.
