I plan to start doing this for 8 weeks before starting my prep for the show in may, since I am already pretty lean for this far out.
Why ?
Because I feel flat, thin and "scrawny" and I feel my physique have no pop after losing a lot of bodyfat already.
so I want to get back my fullness, gain 2-3 lbs of muscle if possible , and I also feel it will help my body "relax" so when I drop the carbs a bit after that, drop the slin and add the ECA, the bodyfat will melt easily

100 grams of carbs
45 gr protein

1 bagel

I will also lower the t4 dose to 50 mcg, and I am dropping the ephedra I am using at the moment.
right now I am taking 2 cc of test 400 per week (I suspect it is very underdosed tho because I normally get bitch tits from 800mg of legit test) and 400 mg of tren enanthate per week.
I will up those but probably pregressivly because I want to keep upping the doses right up to the show and obviously I am not going to takt 5g of gear per week.
please tell me what you guys think of this plan, I do not want to gain any fat so it's simply a mild mass gaining phase before the real contest prep

IMO you want solid food PWO....I make much better gains eating food straight after the gym and having a small 50/25 shake along side.
You should throw in more fats to bump the cals up slightly.

Yeah I find it odd but thats because I have worked with horses and GF's that are into horse riding etc.
I "think" but not 100 % sure that the french are horse eaters , Stav is canadian so maybe theres the fench influence ?

Think about this logically. You assuming that you "lost" something else because you lost some body fat. First of all forget about what you "feel" like and worry about what you look like. I've heard this complaint a million times. Doing slin will make you "feel" fuller, but it will not in the long run make you look better or make your muscles "POP" when you flex. Right now you are not thinking too straight because of your paranoia about getting small. The best thing that you can do rite now is to do the exact diet that you were doing to lose fat and slowly add calories proportionately with your macros. This will fill you out some and make you "feel" better not only physically but mentally. Forget the slin!

when you big, but not ridiculously big..........6'3, 245 lean...........how important do you think eating clean while dieting, i.e. eating dry oatmeal and chicken breast...........as compared to filling your protein requirements, but other then that doing the "calorie is a calorie" thing

When dieting for a show or even to get very lean (not just to lose a few pounds) I think it best to eat mostly clean. My guys have always ate "junk" food once a week and always in large amounts, but again this is a certain specific diet that I had them on and would not always work unless it was laid out in a specific manner. This answer could get very long so don't take everything that I say here as gospel. I'm just giving you the kinda short answer. Far as protein goes I think that most guys eat way too much. I would never go above 1.5 g per pound and that's prob a bit too much. Increase your cals after that with carbs and fat. Some guys do better with a majority of carbs and some do better with fats that is up to you and how you react to carbs.
If someone comes to me reasonably lean then I would not have them do any cardio until maybe 5 weeks out and then it's nothing crazy. I have dieted people on no cardio, but to get freaky ripped I like to add some in. Also, I never use fat burners until late in the game too since it's mainly all diet when it comes to losing fat.

Also wanted to add this, there is no such thing as "junk food" simply because food can only be food, but when you add in harmful ingredients to food such as chemicals and an over abundance of sugar etc then this is what is typically referred to as junk food.

who appear to get very good dietary results with the simple diet of
1. filling protein reqs.
2. and after that just reducing calories, regardless of how "clean" the calories are
when your eating very "clean" even when dieting , its a LOT of eating.......you know, cup and a half of dry oatmeal and a half dozen eggs, ect
lately , i have been eating pizza bites and protein shakes.........and just keeping overall calories low, and doing some cardio
and i gotta be honest.........i dont really feel much of a difference in how much muscle mass im losing while i diet, or how fast the fat is coming off

The one I find to be of the most importance is training. You've got to find out what works best for you if you still haven't. I'm still trying to figure it out, but some things vie found out for my own body= don't train if you still sore or your performance is decreased, periodize your training as often as necessary, if training to failure then keep it to one two or three sets only, if training high volume then stay away from failure, progressive overload is king, try your best to perfect form and as much tension on the target muscle as possible, lots of stretching

Unless I'm mistaken Leafy Bug ate the typical BBer diet for his last show. Also, and again this could get long, but if you want to take the time to bake and cook your own food to make dieting a little easier then there is nothing wrong with that. Let's say that you want to make a banana nut bread for to eat for one of your meals there is noting wrong with that, but I personally like to keep things simple. Number one I actually like the taste of rice and red potatoes and oatmeal and you can add spices and things to them to make then taste better if you want to. Now, eating things like cake and pie can make some people more hungry and make it harder to stick to a calorie restricted diet. Try eating say 8 oz of lean beef with some brown rice and then eat say 50 grams of whey protein and eat the rest of your calories in Ho Ho's then tell me how you feel? If all you have to do if meet your protein requirements and eat what ever you like for the rest of your calories then you should have no problem eating cake and ice cream all day long with maybe just a few egg whites or amino tabs for your protein.

There is no reason to lose muscle while dieting, that is a myth. In fact you can gain muscle while still losing fat I've done it a million times. Also I personally like to eat a decent amount of fat in my diet and this also lowers the bulk of food one eats and makes it easier to get your meals down.

No prob. I'm the same as you, I don't eat near the amount of food as I used to but I find it easy to maintain my muscle with little protein and working out about 3 times a week. All things being equal and in order it will be drugs that will get you growing when you have some to a stand still.

Yes you will and that's another myth. People will say that you can only absorb so much protein at "one time" but the body does not abosrb protein at one time it absorbs it "over time". For example let say it will take you 60 minutes to digest 25 grams of protein. Then it would take about 120 minutes to absorb 50 grams. Serge Nubret used to eat one huge meal a day at night when he got home from training and that meals consisted of roughly 5 pounds of horse meat and some rice and beans. That's an ungodly amount of protein to eat at one time, but do you really think that he was only absorbing roughly 50 or so grams of that meal? It took hours to digest that meal and all of it got absorbed. Where the hell else was it going? Also, remember he was still in a calorie deficient state or he would not have been losing fat.

It also depends on how many carbs you are eating with your protein source. Also I seriously doubt it takes up to 30 hours to digest 100 grams of protein from a food source.

probably wouldn't, as I said the process speeds up as it goes on. But that is the base rate of absorption for proteins, and a large quantity of a slower digesting source like red meat could easily take a full day or more to completely digest so ling as there wasn't a bunch of fiber pushing it out of the digestive tract before it could get fully absorbed

Google PDCAAS. Milk proteins are very well absorbed, so powders wouldn't go to waste. Chicken and milk proteins both get a 100% rating according to this scoring method.

Do you think the 'eat what you want' day has a lot do with your clients gaining muscle when prepping?
It's why DiPasquale's original Anabolic Diet and Lyle McDonald's UD2.0, for example, are effective for gaining muscle while losing fat. Deficit fat burning mode for 5 or so days and then a day or two rebound/muscle gain phase.

I plan to eat every 5 hours and most my meal are soldmeal...

It's not really a paranoia about getting small, because I know I am not even a big guy in the first place, it's just that my physique doesn't look like it usually does when dieting.

I just looked at your diet.
Maybe you should try playing around with your macros. Seems like you dont have much fat in there. Maybe try to take some carbs out and add some meals with fat in there.
Ive found that when ive added a decent amount of fat in my diet its actually filled me out in a way that carbs dont.
Play around with your macros a bit before you do anything else! I bet you'll find your answer there !

it's a funny thing how you and i are alike in this regard- the flattening out part. i have to be careful cause i flatten out easily for sure. nothing is worse than being flat when your dieting, and still holding fat cause you look like shit and its a total mind fuck. lol
k. i guess the first question i'll ask is are you using GH? this matters because you can increase your caloric intake considerably and still stay relatively tight, and it's important if your going to be using slin. my advise is that you don't use inulin without the GH. there is something really magical about the combination, and on slin alone the magic i found for myself to be overrated. yeah i gained weight, but how much was fat? i'd say quite a bit of it. now, with GH in the picture, you can make significant gains between now and when you start your prep. 8iu 6 times a week (you'll go thru 2 kits a month) and you will not believe how much your body will change in 3 months. plus that combination of Test and Tren is sick- my favourite by far- you can make substantial gains between now when you start your prep- if you do it right you don't need a lot of gear for your show- im on 500mg ew of karachi sust, and taking 400 mg of tren enan as well, and feel godly as im just going into my third week after a almost 5 month lay off, but i am attributing a lot of that to the fullness i am getting from the GH.
all this being said, being in the shape you are now is half the battle of going into a prep. you know the better shape your in, the more muscle you'll hold and not need to drive thru a hellish prep to get that fat off, so i wouldnt think you want to get too far off this mark. if GH isnt an answer you can afford cause the shit isnt cheap, then id suggest this, because what i'd do on GH, and what i'd do off in this matter are two totally different things:
take the diet your going to be running thru your prep, not in terms of the food items necessarily but the amounts of marcos and increase the carbs slightly. just add in say a cup of rice a day (uncooked measure), split up over 3-4 meals (i love rice- it doesnt bloat me ). stick with it for 3-4 days- you wont feel it right away and you should find you've got that fullness back you've wanted without taking in a shit load of calories that your body doesnt need or want and that your now left with to burn off. i think you'd be pretty amazed what adding in a few grams of carbs over and above what your doing now will do without swapping out the whole thing and adding in 1000-2000 cals you dont need will do for you. try it for a week. religiously. you've got 8 weeks before the prep, so spend a week trying it. if it doesnt work, which i think it will, come back and we'll take another look. i dont think you need such a drastic overhaul, especially with a show coming up. you're where you want to be, you just a need a minor adjustment, and a complete swap out. don't let your head start fucking with you. it'll be so much easier to transition into your prep like this, than getting your body used to one thing, changing it for 8 weeks, then changing it again.

it's a funny thing how you and i are alike in this regard- the flattening out part. i have to be careful cause i flatten out easily for sure. nothing is worse than being flat when your dieting, and still holding fat cause you look like shit and its a total mind fuck. lol
k. i guess the first question i'll ask is are you using GH? this matters because you can increase your caloric intake considerably and still stay relatively tight, and it's important if your going to be using slin. my advise is that you don't use inulin without the GH. there is something really magical about the combination, and on slin alone the magic i found for myself to be overrated. yeah i gained weight, but how much was fat? i'd say quite a bit of it. now, with GH in the picture, you can make significant gains between now and when you start your prep. 8iu 6 times a week (you'll go thru 2 kits a month) and you will not believe how much your body will change in 3 months. plus that combination of Test and Tren is sick- my favourite by far- you can make substantial gains between now when you start your prep- if you do it right you don't need a lot of gear for your show- im on 500mg ew of karachi sust, and taking 400 mg of tren enan as well, and feel godly as im just going into my third week after a almost 5 month lay off, but i am attributing a lot of that to the fullness i am getting from the GH.
all this being said, being in the shape you are now is half the battle of going into a prep. you know the better shape your in, the more muscle you'll hold and not need to drive thru a hellish prep to get that fat off, so i wouldnt think you want to get too far off this mark. if GH isnt an answer you can afford cause the shit isnt cheap, then id suggest this, because what i'd do on GH, and what i'd do off in this matter are two totally different things:
take the diet your going to be running thru your prep, not in terms of the food items necessarily but the amounts of marcos and increase the carbs slightly. just add in say a cup of rice a day (uncooked measure), split up over 3-4 meals (i love rice- it doesnt bloat me ). stick with it for 3-4 days- you wont feel it right away and you should find you've got that fullness back you've wanted without taking in a shit load of calories that your body doesnt need or want and that your now left with to burn off. i think you'd be pretty amazed what adding in a few grams of carbs over and above what your doing now will do without swapping out the whole thing and adding in 1000-2000 cals you dont need will do for you. try it for a week. religiously. you've got 8 weeks before the prep, so spend a week trying it. if it doesnt work, which i think it will, come back and we'll take another look. i dont think you need such a drastic overhaul, especially with a show coming up. you're where you want to be, you just a need a minor adjustment, and a complete swap out. don't let your head start fucking with you. it'll be so much easier to transition into your prep like this, than getting your body used to one thing, changing it for 8 weeks, then changing it again.

The diet I wrote above for the bulking plan, is pretty much the same diet I started to diet with at around the 230 lbs mark (I had already lost 20 lbs before that... yeah I was fucking fat :D)
I will try the slin, only because I am already lean and the diet is clean, but after 2 weeks if I feel it bloats me too much I will drop it.
usually if I eat clean on it, I don't get fat even if I eat more calories than in the diet above.
hard to say, my body is responding SO differently than it did 2 years ago, or even 1 year ago.
usually I could get away with eating a lot more food , I am getting old ;D

Do you think the 'eat what you want' day has a lot do with your clients gaining muscle when prepping?
It's why DiPasquale's original Anabolic Diet and Lyle McDonald's UD2.0, for example, are effective for gaining muscle while losing fat. Deficit fat burning mode for 5 or so days and then a day or two rebound/muscle gain phase.
I think that this is def a part of it. My guys would lose about 2 to 3 pounds a week on the scale and never lose any size. I never understood why guys got all concerned about this. Some would gain as much as 11 pounds that day after a cheat day, but would still be at least 2 pounds lighter by Fri. My diet methods are different and I got criticized about them for years but they worked. I think that Mario had it wrong because he never really seemed to care that much about calorie restriction and you have to lower the calories the leaner you get.

Question 1. No there isn't other than the amount of food that you need to eat. You can eat 3 to 4 meals a day while gaining or losing if you like. This stuff about you gotta eat 6 to 8 times a day is BS. Even with the huge amount of Gh T3 and other stuff guys generally eat way too much.
Not sure I know what you are asking with your second question sorry. If you mean how loong should you wait to eat before working out I would not eat any later than an hour although this does not include any type of preworkout drink.

jim, when you not a jay cutler size guy, who has to eat , you know 5-6,000 kcals every day of very specific macros when dieting to maintain a 280lb physique
when you big, but not ridiculously big..........6'3, 245 lean...........how important do you think eating clean while dieting, i.e. eating dry oatmeal and chicken breast...........as compared to filling your protein requirements, but other then that doing the "calorie is a calorie" thing
cause i dont notice a big difference
also what your opinion on cardio.........is it much better to take in more calories while dieting (which presumably keeps you more metaboilically active) and do a lot of cardio............or can you just lower your calories so that cardio isnt necessary?
Hey I wanted to add a couple of things you got me thinking a bout. First when Adam says a calorie is a calorie he is right as far as the definition goes. What can a calorie be other than a calorie right? Now, 100 grams of red meat will certainly have a different affect on the body as 100 grams of sugar. So in this respect calories are different, this is what most guys on here are talking about when debating Adam, but he for some reason never really gets into that. Also, you mentioned that you don't see a big difference in what types of food you are eating and the affect it has on your body. This is true I'm sure, but the leaner you get the more you will realize that not to be true. You say that you like to get most of your protein from drink sources to make things more simple. Nothing wrong with that for now at least, but as you get leaner and cut back on your calories things will change. For example, If you are eating say a pure protein meal and you chose to use whey (which I don't like at all) at around 60 grams you are going to be starving in a half hour as compared to someone else who ate chicken for example in the same amount. Chicken IMO is more advantageous to eat. Number one it takes longer to digest so you are not a hungry for a longer period of time (this is important when dieting trust me) and secondly it takes your body more calories to digest. It all sounds good in theory as far as being able to eat what ever you like to get shredded, but in practice it doesn't always workout the way you think it will. I am talking about getting very lean of course.

everything went fine with 16 IU so I'll try 18 tommorrow, and if everything is fine I'll try 20

jim was being sarcastic, ill tell you... in order to get lean, even on gh and t3, you have to eat clean. that doesnt necessarily mean that you have to go low carbs lor low fat, but you need a controlled calorie diet with adequate protein and no excess. the real "fat loss" benefits of gh and t3 do not come from their ability to get you lean (although they are good at doing that), their best use is to KEEP you lean.. aka prevent fat accumulation. you have to eat moderate calories to get lean with gh and t3, but you can go pretty fuc king excessive with the calories and you wont get fat. of course this is dependant upon the person to some degree.

Right now my cycle is 2 shots of test 400 a week AND 400 mg of tren enanthate.
that's not a "huge" cycle but that's not low either.
I prefer doing slin for now before upping the dose for
1. financial reason (slin is fucking cheap)
2. I will eventually up the dose, but I prefer to go gradually until the show

no, it is "low".......and probably its "low-er" cause you know the t-400 is probably more like t300-325 and the and the ugl parabolon is probably underdosed as well

1 gram per pound of lean body weight is the right number, but when dieting and/or on t3 that would go up slightly, and 1.5 grams per pound lean body weight would be good. eating slightly more protein than is necessary wont hurt you, in fact its a good thing so long as you arent getting fat/its not slowing down your fat loss.

Ok...I was debating this with a friend of mine. He is a little heavier than I am (about 10lbs)....and is taking a small dose of stuff (1cc of test e and 1cc of deca per week).....I didnt think he needed to increase his protein a hugeamount....but he was told otherwise.
I personally take in about 285gm of protein per day (walk around at about 200 - 202 depending on the day, and about 9%)....he is about 210 and I think about 7% (has veins in abs....can see some separation in legs) and was told to take in about 350 - 370gms of protein a day. Both of us take in about 100gms of carbs per day (he will go slightly more on workout days) and both have about 10gm of fat per meal that is not around a workout.
So, is he right with taking in that much? I said he could probably do more fat and keep protein about 300/day....maybe pick carbs up to 150....
I dont know shit when it comes to "enhanced" modifications.

I was fucking swweaty and my hands were shaking, I ate everything in sight.

its because gatorade is half glucose and half fructose. yyour bagel is nearly 100% glucose. only glucose enters blood stream and effects insulin levels/increases blood sugar. you only got half the glucose you should have got.
