post a pic. i will post my current pic yes look like shit but getting stronger and eating more carbs than anyone on the board, im fat and actually weigh 285 tonite wich is more than ive ever weighed in my life but feel fucking great. This is my first FULL ENTIRE WEEK OF WORKING OUT IN 6 months!!!! im pretty happy for myself actually i feel like im adapting quickly to a better body

cephisis dont diet dude you could be a fucking monster if you did more reps and consume more carbs especially fruit juice man. you actually have low body fat. you would grow like crazy if you followed higher carbs and more training!

Thanks falcon :D, but i've tried everything and messed my body up a lot. I'm retiring from bodybuilding until i get really lean. Then maybe I'll try to bring up my weak muscles.

dude youre insane that is lean. you will fill out like a mother fucker if you filled up on carbs , then youd have more energy to do more reps
you are going for a physique that only exists when starving=lower calories=lower sexdrive=you do less shit=you look dry and ripped=weak as fuck=prone to binge on bad food because your so depleted and hungry for glucose youll gobble on fat and processed sugars instead

I never take pics of myself...............wha t`s the point,I own a mirror.
I`m always in decent condition and ALWAYS in great training shape,but I presently do look the worst I ever have.

I gotta throw in wit da Coach on dis one, just because someone is in shape and "looks good" doesn't qualify them as an expert, case in point... Mr. Arthur Jones. If you saw his pic you would think WTF, BUT... Da dude pwns ALL as far as training knowledge goes ;D

That's not a valid point biff, the question is... IS WHAT THE PERSON CLAIMS TO BE TRUE. For example, if someone says 2+2=4 then it doesn't matter if you like him or don't like him, what matters is that what he said is true, 2+2 does equal 4 ;)

i dont know what you do in your life...my experience is that when you make a claim or give advice, people generally want you to be able to back it up.
i have never heard of anyone eating whatever they want - candies included - and getting themselves in good shape. meaning lean, AND muscular, not just losing weight but being a smaller version of themselves when they were in crap shape.
i actually hope fatpanda proves us all wrong, and proves that we can get ripped on a loose diet.

Well man, I actually did it, and in fact, at this very moment my "diet" consists of gummi bears, chocolate chip cookies, scrambled eggs with cheese, chicken breasts, black coffee and red bull, and I'm getting leaner by the day ;D And what is rather increadible is that my push muscles (chest, delts, and tris) are actually getting stronger ;) Yeah man, I am shocked that I'm getting stronger while I am simultaniously getting leaner, but fuck it, I'll take what I can get ;D FYI, I DO TRAIN MY ASS OFF, so I'm certain that is EXACTLY why I can make such great progress on a "gummi bears, red bull, and scrambled egg" diet 8)

Na brother, I'm on a pretty normal diet, low fat, high carbs and 100 or so grams of protein. I can go a very long time without training and not lose muscular bulk so I don't train too much whilst in a deficit, 100g is enough for me to lean up, maintain and gain.

This my mentor, for the ten or so years I make a trip at least every couple of years to spend a week at his facility. Like I've said, you don't have to look the part to be the best...

In all honesty, months. I've recently had around 8 weeks off and my last session my strength was slightly improved.

Wow man, that's pretty incredible! For some reason I think that really strong and heavily muscled guys can go much longer without training before they start to regress and lose strength and/or size.

Probably true, strength is one of those things you can build, but natural strength is with you from a young age. I was pressing triple the weight of some of the guys who were older than me at school on my first gym sesh. I do have my days where I feel weak, but it's usually because I'm still healing from the last workout.

Personally, I use HIT style training, except that I tweak it a bit, and just use 1 compound exercise per body part for 3 to 4 work sets, and no isolation work except for shrugs and calf raises. Anyway, I'm just curious if you are fimiliar with Mentzer's ideologies?

Of course, I go between his principled workout and consolidated all the time and have made non-stop improvements for four years. Great man.

I've put on size equally, but arms and back have probably seen the most improvement. Calves have gained 4 inches and I've literally trained them a handful of times in 4 years.
