How about answering the questions asked of you in the Christie thread you tried to sabotage?
-
Something is very weird with Palina and Bachman too.
They seem to just make up their own version of history.
Palin thinks the Soviet Union "won" the space race and that this was the reason why they collapsed (I thought the Republican mythos was that Reagan was responsible for "beating" Soviet communism)
WTF Sarah?
???
Then we have Bachman who thinks the founding fathers ended slavery
Something is seriously wrong with this woman.
btw - Chris Matthews is cracking me up with the angry old man routine
-

How about you suck on deez nuts, fucktard.
I post when and where I please, and am under no obligation here to you or anybody else. I have not looked at the FATSO thread I "tried to sabotage" since my last post.

Hide behind that, but everyone knows you're incapable of having a coherent discussion. You're just not that bright.
It's OK though. Keep spamming the boards, and not having the smarts to back up any of your copy and pasting. It's your time to spend how you want to.

Something is very weird with Palina and Bachman too.
What's "weird" is that they continue to be wildly popular with a portion of the right-wing and consistently defended by those who know better. It's like these two dingbats never read a book or attended a single history class. ??? These two ladies are so stupid, all you can do is wait for the next dumb quote and enjoy the comedy show.

they get more attention from the left than they do from the right

I think they aren't really that popular but because they both get so much airtime we have the impression they enjoy large support from the "right wing". I definitely agree that it's bizarro that anyone would take either of these two dingbats seriously but I think their true supporters are a small but vocal minority of people that are just as stupid and uninformed as they are (and we obviously have a few such people who post on this board)

they all hold idiotic ideals, make stupid ignorant statements and are held up by the other side as being the poster child for the liberals or conservatives
When in reality they dont have that big of a following and are only supported by a small minority of their party

Matthews ain't to bright.
The "3/5th" compromise had nothing to do with counting each slave as only 3/5th of human being. It had to do with the census and representation in Congress for the states. Slaves couldn't vote but anti-slavery supporters wanted only "free persons" to be counted to determine representation in Congress and pro-slavery proponents wanted them to be counted so they could have a bigger say in Congress. That is where the compromise comes from. If this wasn't in the document than the slave states would have held an insurmountable edge over the non-slave states.....and that would mean that slavery would have lasted for a while longer until technology made it wasteful. The total of "all other people" will be counted as 3/5th's of the total number. It's that simple. This is knowledge from my high school and college days, shit, probably Jr. High as well. This is basic stuff.
Matthews got it dead wrong in a lazy attempt to hammer Bachmann. These fuckers must be running scared and wetting themselves if they will go as far as to totally misrepresent or lie about certain articles in the Constitution. A bad day for Matthews, no matter how you spin it....and you can't.

feel free to actually show some examples of Pelosi making patently false statements about basic US History.
I know you don't agree with Pelosi's politics but let's review some basic facts
Pelosi = most successful female politician in the history of our country. First female Speaker of the House and led the most productive congress (in terms of groundbreaking legislation passed) in decades and is still minortiy leader in the house
Palin = half term governor and clueless about basic American history (and recent history) and prone to saying something stupid and false virtually every time she opens her mouth
Bachman = crackpot/fringe congressperson who also seems to say something stupid and false on a weekly basis
-
talking about Palin is just dumb. Palin is an idiot, we know this. Enough with the attention already. She isn't getting smarter or better but for some reason people keep talking about her. It only feeds the beast.

All of this is true.
Its as if a lot of liberals actually want her to win the presidency and be popular. They show clip after clip of her, attack her over and over, expose her to their audiences and others. All it does it galvanize right wing support for her, as it becomes left wing vs right, and keep her in the spotlight.
-

All of this is VERY true!!
please, please, repubs - don't defend her.
Agree she is a moron and /end thread.
it's that easy. Do it every time and she'll fall from the camera's eye and more competent republicans (who aren't polling 20 points down to obama) will emerge. I promise!
Every time you defend this person (or attack obama like that makes her idiocy okay) it doe nothing more than remind us all that she is the most visible voice of the Repub party - a nightmare in itself.

I watched the clip again and all I heard him say was that counting slaves as 3/5ths of a person was "the horrible compromise at that was at the heart of our constitution"
Thats all he said (that I saw/heard)
what part did he get wrong?

one would think that Todd would have proof read her response and noticed the wtf .
or, at least one of her handlers would have caught it.
simply stated she misspoke and taken a stand for decency and not use dirty words and phrases - scored big with the fundies.

remember what I told you about using the word logic
everytime you write it you should take it as a sign that you're about to say something stupid
Stimulus legislation
heath care legislation (50 + years in the making)
repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell
Nuclear Arms Treaty
etc...
yes, the most productive session on Congress in the last 40 years

good or bad, based upon whose goggles?
if you're among the 51+% of americans who don't pay taxes or enjoy some type of handout, it IS right for you. It's a democracy - MAJORITY RULES.
So while it's fucked, it's "right" because we're a democracy and its what the MAJORITY of the people want.
-
And if 51 percent want slavery back is that ok?

wtf are you talking about?
you drinking?
nobody is saying right or wrong, im saying good or bad and yes with legislation there are quantifiable factors that can be measures...
the stimulus bill was a failure, 1.5-3 million jobs for 800 billion dollars...unemployment above what was projected even without it
lol sorry hoss again quantifiable factors
health care premiums up, waivers for 800 companies...again sorry hoss
credit card protection: rates are avg all time highs, companies by passing the legislation with new cards and loop holes...failure

majority of ppl didnt want this health care bill, so i guess by your logic that makes it wrong?

nobody is saying right or wrong, im saying good or bad
if i'm a deadbeat, broke-ass welfare mother...
baby daddy in prison and i can't stop fcking everyone on my block...
babies popping out every 10 months...
Then YES, obama's policies ARE GOOD FOR HER.
Shitty for the nation - but good for 51% of the nation. Therein lies the problem - why obama's polling well over 50%. Cause over half of the nation believes the handouts are GOOD! Over half the nation ain't smart enough to understand a deficit of 14 trillion bucks. They carry 10grand in debt, what do they care?
So yes, for a responsible adult, his policies are wrong/bad. For a welfare bum or lazy schlep, his policies are good/bad. And until conservatives stop belittling "libs" and trying to one-up them to the point they defend obama no matter what, their numbers will continue to be the minority.

stimulus didnt do shit
except according to CBO and many Republicans it saved/created jobs
health care isnt doing shit
except all these benefits (some of the best haven't even phaed in yet) + projected deficit reduction

creating 1.5-3 million jobs at the cost of 800 billion isnt success brain child
what benefits from the health care bill?
do the benefits offset the rising premiums?
LOL again quantifiable facts bro

here we go again.
LOL at you citing one number (which is false) and then calling your post quantifiable fact
here's the actual Stim $'s that have been spent so far(as of Dec 10, 2010)
http://projects.propublica.org/tables/stimulus-spending-progress
$331 billion Spent
$135 billion In process
$45 billion Left to spend
$243 billionTax cuts issued
$45 billionTax cuts remaining
I gave you a link to the immediate and future benefits of the health care legislation....did you read it?
I'm' guessing no, otherwise you wouldn't have asked such an ignorant question. The benefits, both immediate and long term have been listed many times. How is it you still have no clue what they are?
Premium were rising before the legislation so I don't see the difference except that now the insurance companies have to request permission to increase rates and justify them. Also, a very small percentage of the increases are due to the legislation (in spite of the lies by the Repubs). Here's another link I'm sure you can't be bother to read: http://factcheck.org/2010/11/the-truth-about-health-insurance-premiums/
Seriously, you must have to work hard to stay so uniformed. You must be reading all the same news soures that Palin reads
-
LOL ok...lets do this again then with your numbers
1.5-3 million jobs created or saved ::)
331 billion spent already...well just use that not the money in process or tax cuts even though your against those
and we will even use the 3 million number of jobs created or saved ::)
331,000,000,000/3,000,000 = $110,333.33
they spent per job and thats at best brosky
again quantifiable failure
add in the money in process, tax cuts etc...
LMAO all equals epic failure
-
And those bogus alleged jobs are going away once the stim bill cash runs out.
What a crock of barack.

or the more accurate way to look at it would be quantifiable success.
for most direct stimulus investment for a dollar spent we get greater than $1 in GDP
the least effect, of course, being tax cuts (which if I recall you were in favor of extending even though they add to the deficict)
-
And those bogus alleged jobs are going away once the stim bill cash runs out.

some perhaps but they kept the gdp going in positive direction and private sector jobs are starting to pick back up (though not at as great a pace as anyone would like)

I'd give you a bunch of links but you won't read them so why should I bother
Here's a simple chart that shows the dollar return in GDP for every dollar of various stimulus measures.
I'm suprised you're not aware of this. It's been widely discussed in the past few years.

LMFAO show me the link and how they got those numbers
so we get 1.73 dollars back for every dollar we give in food stamps?
hahhahahhahahhahahahhaha why are we not all on food stamps?
-
That keynsian multiplier nonsense is so laughable and absrub I can't even believe straw would resort to that crap.

good lord you're dumb
the chart can be found all over the interweb and the source of the data is Moody's Analytics
think about this for a minute or two
when you give someone who is poor or out of work money (unemployment benefits, food stamps, etc..) what do you they do with it?
They spend it
That's why you get a greater return on something like that as opposed to tax cuts which usually just get's put back into savings (i.e doesn't get spent)
-
That keynsian multiplier nonsense is so laughable and absrub I can't even believe straw would resort to that crap.
If you dont' like it then blame Moodys not me
they compiled the data
I just posted it
-
Then why not put the entire nation on food stamps?
-
Then why not put the entire nation on food stamps?
the entire nation doesn't need them
you're really are a simple minded person
-
Not at all, just pointing out who absurd your arguments are.
If food stamps are so great, why are the areas they are most used often the poorest and least economically productive?
-

I'd give you a bunch of links but you won't read them so why should I bother
Here's a simple chart that shows the dollar return in GDP for every dollar of various stimulus measures.
I'm suprised you're not aware of this. It's been widely discussed in the past few years.
Dude, I think your message, as clear and to the point as it is, is not going to sink in with the Tea Baggers. Remember, in their world slogans are more important than facts.

No, its that you leftists always ignore and refuse to acknowledge the horrible negative effects on the other side of the equation.
Its like the drug commercials for ED and they warn you that you can get a heart attack, blindness, etc, all for what? A 4 hour erection?
Nice. So you are happy you got a four erection, and now you have to deal w heart attack, blindness. Etc.
This is why keynsian crap never works. Its a joke and a farce and never ever works. In fact, I can't think of one documented case where it has worked as promised. Spain anyone?

what are the horrible negative effects of food stamps, unemployment benefits, aid to states, infrastructure spending, etc..?
-
Bankruptcy, dependency upon govt, debasing the currency, masking the real ills the economy, etc.

so all those things are the result of the items listed
any chance you'd care to offer a shred of proof for your claim?
-
Let's see - record amountd on food stamps, record amounts collecting ue for longer periods of time, 1.5 trillion deficit, 14 trillion dollar detb, bankrupt states, bankrupt cities, bankrupt municipalities near default on bonds, UE getting worse despite the record deficit spending on this nonsense, etc etc etc
But oh yeah, let's do more of the same!

don't forget tax cuts
those are on the list too
aren't those part of the problem
How much of that 1.5 trillion deficit is from tax cuts (go look it up and let us know)
btw - wasn't your "plan" to do nothing and let unemployment get much worse (which you admittted it would) and let GDP go down?
-
Yes it was, more pain short term, wipe out the mal investments, fraud, bad actors, etc, and in the long run be far better off with a real economy.
Instead we only delayed the inevitable and made the same problem three times as bad.

yeah because nothing would be better than a full blown depression with 25% unemployment, negative gdp etc...
certainly the stimulus was not perfect (too much money spent on things like tax cuts which only add to deficits and give a negative return for each dollar spent) but it's exactly what the government can and should do in times like this.
Our financial problems came from 30 years of deficit funded tax cuts and were exacerbated in the last 10 years by complete lack of regulation of Wall Street which allowed them to take larger and larger risks and creating an asset bubble that almost everyone knew was going to end in disaster (yet the banks are bailled out and bigger than ever while the tax payer foots the bill)
Take a look at how the UK has responded to the financial crisis and what the effect has been on their GDP

Tax cuts had nothing to do with the meltdown or economy.
We have a spending and regulation addiction, not a problem with too few taxes.

current crisis was caused by lack of regulation of the financial markets, specifically credit defualt swaps.
our economic situation was progressively worse under Reagan/Bush1
got better under Clinton and then exponentially worse under Bush the Lesser
