 I'm sort of trying to get ripped right now.

 I eat less food in general. Lots of times i'll have a pretty light dinner. Sometimes eat only 2 big meals a day with snacks. Consume less calories overall.

 I try to go lower on carbs. Less rice and potatoes and all that. I'm eating a lot cleaner.

 I up the veggies a lot. Lots of salads and stir frys with veggies and meat.

 Most important is the training. Hardcore cardio sessions. I usually bicycle ride for a couple hours. Or do about 30 minutes of jumprope. I depend more on the intense cardio to get me ripped than the diet.

i'll help out.

my calories are about 12.5-13 times my bodyweight (EDIT- this number is wrong due to the fact i added in 40 grams of coconut oil into my diet. im prolly now closer to 15x) i have dieted with 8-10 times calories/ bodyweight usually but i am getting better results with more calories, and no cardio.

starches are about 80 grm only. the rest of the carbs are fiberous- 24oz of brocolli a day, 2 green peppers, and 12 cups spinach. very high in fiber.

fats are very high. about 140 grams a day.

protein is 1.7 times bodyweight.

im gaining size, and leaning out at the same time. this is the first time this has happened. my doses are the lowest they have been in 3 years as well, leading me to believe any gains i am having are entirely dietary based.

That night after superbowl I went through half, then last night the other half.  Good thing is Vegas diet basically entails cutting cereal lol

What's your percent bodyfat at the moment? Also, how lean do you want to get? FYI, it's possible to lose 2% bodyfat per week if you really try.

To compliment my previous post...towards the end of the diet I clean my meals quite a lot to get rid of excessive water i usually retain while eating shit...but earlier in diet the high-carb junk keeps me full and going...and ice-cream is the best pre-workout food evah  8)

Not intentionally...but due to where i live i use quite a lot of public transportation and need to walk like 2-5km every day 'cos of that...usually i try to cut even that "aerobic training" to as little as possible
And ofc, now that I've found myself a nice and hot bed warmer she also helps to keep me in shape 8)
But she's around 5ft tall (or short) and less than half of my weight so that's not too much of a cardiovascular exercise to "prevent my gains"... ;)

i am about 8% at 240-242. scale weight doesn't fluctuate that much as long as a i dont carb up, but has increased 3.5 pounds since adding in the coconut oil 10 days ago.

the plan is to keep my dosages low until i get as lean as i am looking for (right now im at 750mg wk sust/ 300mg wk NPP) - the start of april- if i can hold my bodyweight at 240 till then while leaning out that'd be great. then i'll up the boost and run test and tren at 100mg ed, keep this NPP in im using now as i love it, maybe throw in some anadrol and then up the calories slightly to grow into the next two months till the end of may. i have never tried this. it should be interesting. even if i put on 5-7 pounds of lean over that 2 month period i'd be happy.

First off, cut protein down.  This whole 1.5 grams/bodypound is complete marketing bullshit.  Your body can only handle so much at a time anyway.
Shoot for 25-35 grams at a time.  And unutilized protein will be stored.

Cut fats down also.  Keep under 60 grams a day.. maybe less.

Carbs.  I would keep them moderate as you'll need energy. 

Do this for awhile with cardio and tweak the carbs/fats lower when needed. 

Honestly, I think the reason ppl have a hard time losing bodyfat is that they ingest way too much protein, due to the supplement industy mantra.

 They tell you that you need protien so that you'll go out and buy it. And it's maing lots of people rich in the industry.

 Protien powder is cheap shit that should cost like 5 dollars per bucket based on raw materials prices. But instead they charge dumbshits 40 dollars for like 20 or 30 servings of this cheap powder. It's crazy. Should be like 20 cents per serving, not $1.50.

Perhaps, if the protein is too high.  Ideally 8 low calorie meals would be great.. but ppl think they need to eat much more than they really do.

Ive been bodybuilding naturally now for 19 years.  It's been just the past 2 years or so that i've brought down my protein levels and found it helps control bodyfat.  I've done keto, low carb, carb cycle, etc.

Ppl are eating TOO much protein.  And not just bf is affected.  Think kidneys.  And all the bs about them not being affected... go see a doc and have a kidney screen done.  Guarantee your creatinine levels will be high.  Granted this doesn't always indicated a stage of failure, but is just one indication.

Bingo.  Lighter, as you have less bf.  Maybe you lost a bit of muscle mass, but the amount is probably nil in comparison to how much better you look.

i remember back in my rainbow sunshine days of naturalness all I needed was to eat clean and do cardio once in awhile but I was young - 170lb or so, on stage

I was in tx so I ate lots of grilled chicken soft tacos with only fresh pico - eggs - never have I did the low carb thing tho, I take a shake once in awhile but no where near as to protein I take now at 265lb or so

Yes much harder to convert protein to bodyfat than carbs... and i wouldn't worry about protein messing up your kidneys... you should be more concerned about too much simple sugars and carbs and becoming diabetic- that would really fuck up your kidney's much worse than 200g of protein a day lol... just drink a lot of water.

what does a typical daily menu look like?

I've never tried coconut oil so I'm wonderintg how you use that (i.e do you cook with it or mix it into food after cooking)?

what does a typical daily menu look like?

I've never tried coconut oil so I'm wonderintg how you use that (i.e do you cook with it or mix it into food after cooking)?




coconut oil is an MCT and is the bomb so far as fats go.

the fats are 40 grams from coconut oil- i put it on my broccoli and chicken after its cooked- its like a solid white paste, but then when you put your meal in the mircowave to heat it up it melts, 80 grams from almonds, 20 grams from red meat and 3 whole omega 3 eggs.

are the 12 cups of spinach raw or frozen

I eat a lot of spinach (organic, chopped, frozen from Whole Foods) but I always measure it by weight (grams) and never by the cup

spinach is raw. edit: ive noticed a massive difference in my dieting by eating so many fiberous carbs.

Keto
Calories in/calories out (adequate protein)?


I've done it the keto way (less than 50 grams of carbs per day) and the I've done it the TKD (timed keto diet) way.  They both worked great.  I prefer the TKD method.

I think you forgot the most important thing, a calorie deficit.
