Title: I did 5 sets of squats today! after pretty much not touching a weight in 4 years

all squats done ass to dee floor....no belt (old one wont fit my fat ass)
warmup >    bar * 20
                 90lbs * 15
     set 1 > 135 * 15
     set 2 > 155 * 12   (coulda done 15 but abs cramped up)
     set 3 > 185 * 12
     set 4 > 185 * 14
     set 5 > 135 for a half hearted 8


then i did 3 sets of high rep leg curls...after which i hobbled the F out of there

already having trouble going down the stairs...feels like my knees r gonna buckle

at the gym..i came down sideways..holding on to the railing!  :D

maybe when i hit 225 for 10 i'll post a video  :)

my 225 for 20 video i promised 5 years ago never made it to getbig...as i ws more interested in running to the bars to get drunk right after i trained back then....  :-\

225X10 is an impressive feat for a Punjabi, but I think most of getbig will just take your word on it.  no need to use up Ronidan's bandwidth for such things.  :)

good job. It will be fun getting in and out of a car for the next week. Never felt it in the abs when doing squats though, lower back yes.

good job. It will be fun getting in and out of a car for the next week. Never felt it in the abs when doing squats though, lower back yes.

my lower abs cramped up(its my 2nd day overall at the gym)....but i usually dont feel it in my lower back till the next day...

at some point i'll post a video and you'll see that i stay fairly upright...next week i'll attempt 185 for 20 on one of my sets...  :)

your brother works on "end systems" (computers..servers..etc etc...)

we work on intermediate systems (routers)

end system guys usually dont know anything about intermediate systems...and are usually pretty ill informed

...not insulting..just saying.......




ask your brother what the acronym CCIE stands for

IF there is routing involved..its mostly IGPs....yanno..the easy stuff..OSPF...IS-IS...EIGRP if its a cisco shop..i shit IGPs in my sleep.... ;)

big boys play with BGP....QOS(quality of service..your traffic management)...Multicasting...IPv6 multicasting...  :)

do tell what routing is involved in distributed computing..since i dont know anything about it...what protocol?

I don't know, he's the one who works there, not me.  I don't know/care what all that shit means.  Throwing around a bunch of acronyms doesn't make you smart or mean that some certification is worth a shit outside of your little field.
