As much as gh15 will deny from his own insecurities that juice is so great, after you reach a certain muscle level on it you can clean out and look better! No bloat in the face making you look ugly and older, hold the muscle, sure maybe not as big or heavy but closer and look better.

Took a couple weeks off the diet and pounded down buckets of german chocolate ice cream ;D Started back on it about a week ago and hopefully will be able to stay on it for 30 days to get down to where I'd like to be.

For instance, (A) tell us how you induced ketosis in order to get the diet going, (B) How many meals do you consume per day, (C) What forms of fat, both healthy and unhealthy, you are consuming and (D) mention your total daily caloric and protein intake.
From the looks of it, you are keeping yourself healthy and that's the most important factor.

But i still don't think you've seen someone actually try to keep the muscle once cleaning out. Myself and many guys i've seen don't drop and hold well above anything achievable naturally.

Normally just eat meals 5-6 meals consisting of chicken and broccoli, tuna with ranch and some cheese, eggs and cheese, sometimes half a pound of ground beef and green beans. Sometimes I'll have a steak, but pretty much tuna, eggs, and chicken every day. It gets old at times. If i'm feeling down I might eat some mixed nuts.
No supps anymore just b/c they are too expensive and I dont think they really do much. Cant stand the taste of protein powders anymore anyways.

If using steroids it obviously makes sense to use whey protein and mass gainers because it would often be impracticle to eat so much to get maximum effect from the drugs.
But if you're natural and have access to good food, then you don't need all that shit.

I don't count calories, and I dont keep track of my macros. If I were dieting for a show, or planned on getting "contest" ripped, then I would keep track, but since its just to look good over the summer, I dont see the point in doing all the extra work.
My main weakness these days is ice cream. I crave it. Especially the german chocolate ice cream by private selection. That stuff is amazing!
This is not a keto diet. Keto is high fat/moderate protein/incidental carb. Sorry.

1 - I've got 3 friends that normally train with me. I skipped our normal "leg day" because my knees were bothering me from playing ball, so I lifted by myself that day to make up for the day I missed. All of the guys I lift with are also on the keto diet and have lost anywhere from 30-50 lbs over the past few months.
2 - I did legs that day, then walked a mile, then stretched for 15 minutes, then talked to a guy who just finished his residency about med school for 20 minutes, then took a shower, then took the pics.
As for the supplements, when I said "too expensive" I should have qualified that statement. I wasnt just referring to protein powders. I would agree with you that protein powders are cheaper 'gram for gram' than regular food in most cases, but like I said, I can't stand the taste, and I prefer real food.

The dude has a point though. Where are his legs? All these guys ever post is upper body pics. Half of bodybuilding and getting big is below the waist. So he's right........I see chicks with bigger legs in the spinning classes than some of these monsters posting upper body pics. If dudes would work their legs as hard as their pecs and biceps they might actually break the 150lb barrier.

i tried the keto for about 4 weeks and then got carb withdraw (blaming it on the girlfriend) but while on it i lost weight and over all looked slimmer.
i didnt follow it to a T ... but did calorie count on my iphone kept the carbs to less then 50g and saturdays ate what i wanted... i'll try it again in a few months after i get some size back in the weight room

Let me know if you want some helpful foods / drinks to eat while on it. Over the past 6-8 months I've found more and more good tasting foods and drinks that make the diet a lot easier. I don't think most people are aware of all the items available these days while on this diet.
Do us all a favor and please name some of the helpful foods/drinks that you would recommend.
Besides burgers, chicken, turkey, pork and cheddar cheese, what else do you recommend?
