first off i'd like to give credit to the mighty buselmo for coming forward and dispelling any current beliefs and notions about what it takes to get in shape. the guy speaks the truth and its refreshing to say the least.
heres the deal- i have been for the better part of my training/competing life a 'strict dieting'; guy. this means all ratios and calories were measured. nothing given to chance. steroids were used but not relied upon to give me the size and conditioning i wanted.
i never in all those years achieved what i thought of as my full potential competitively, and that played a big part in why i quit- i just figured i didnt have the genetics (the other part being i honestly hated being onstage).
over the past 2 years i started gh. my shit is good. as is any anabolics i have used. one thing i have been very lucky with is getting good gear. i built a good bit of quality in this time- no not size, quality- i didnt want nor do i now want to get bigger. but for the past two years i have had an almost impossible time getting that last little bit of stubborn fat off no matter how hard i dieted. by stubborn fat i mean the last 2% to get me shredded looking to the point you dont need a diuretic to see the quality of the muscle or conditioning- i have always thought that if you were lean enough you wont need a diuretic to look good and i still feel this way, unless your competing, much different story as those stage light as very unforgiving- anyone can look good in their living room.
so, i have sat sat with unhappily with a bf level for the last 2 years i couldnt shake off which was frustratiing to say the least as every time i got lean, i got way to stringy and started to lose too much lean. it was a tricky balancing act for sure.
fast forward to that last two weeks- and this is where buselmo's truths come into play. i went to south american on vacation. i took with me enough eq, winstrol and my prop for 3 weeks cause i am juice monkey at heart and this is what we do- we never stray far from the syringe kids- if you want to be big you gotta learn this rule.- no i wont tell you how i transported it- pm me if you want to know. in that amount of time i trained twice. two upper body workouts. i didnt count calories. i didnt count protein but i can bet it was less than 100 grams a day- for a period of 4-5 days when i was in the mountains i can assure you it was less than 50. i existed on grains, and fruits. i was climbing thru mountain passes, sometimes elevations of over 2000M in one days time- picture being on a stair climber for 6-7 hours a day.
i got back yesterday and when i looked in the mirror (cause you really dont have any idea how your body has changed till you see it in the same mirror and lighting you always are used to seeing it) i had lost that final 2%. i was bigger and rounder than i have ever been. my legs/calves which i havent trained now for a month are considerably fuller from all the climbing. all on less than 100 grams of protein a day.
heres the moral of the story and guys like gh and buselmo and will grant etc etc will keep pounding away at it till you all get it- THIS IS A DRUG DRIVEN PAST TIME AND RESULTS ARE TOTALLY DEPENDANT ON INTAKE AND NOTHING LESS. fuck calories. fuck protein. fuck macros. fuck gurus- take your steroids like good little boys and girls and a lot of them. eat all the carbs you need to give you whatever fuel your body will need to keep moving and working, and if you cant afford 15units of gh a day, get your lazy ass on a stair climber and grind out some long ass intense cardio sessions to get your metabolism going and burn off the baby fat. thats it. and if you can afford the gh, then fuck the stairclimber too.
why did i take the time to write this- cause for the most part i come here to bust balls and have fun. cause i know there are guys on here in the same boat as me- good physiques who have been busting their ass for years dieting and counting macros. its not necessary and it'll be hard for you to get your mind around it after decades of being fed the same ignorant bullshit about 'dieting' cause i was the same way. diet diet diet. keep the protein up. what a joke.
heres my challenge for guys who are lean but trying to get off that last 2 %- try it for two weeks. eat whatever macros you want. dont stuff yourself full- by now you should know your bodies well enough to know when you need fuel and when you dont. and give your body only enough to keep going. exist on coffee the rest of the time as a stim. eat when you are hungry- fuck the clock. do some cardio if you cant afford the gh. come back here and tell me thats you didnt lose that bf, get fuller and look better.

Many controlled and referenced studies have been done on the topic. The only folks who truly need a little higher protein are burn victims, those healing bones or pregnant women.
The only real difference I can see for myself is that I am not a "juice monkey" and I don't use Gh. I've done quite well for an average gym rat. No high protein. Ever.

thats the point of this thread. dont stress your protein intake. eat 50-100 grams a day, eat carbs of you want them. do some cardio if you cant afford the gh. you'll be fuller and leaner when your done.

I agree. I was forced to drop my "protein intake" the last months due to financial problems (Im a student)..upped the carbs (since they are cheaper anyway)...and didnt notice shit, Im exactly the same. Ok, maybe I have smoothed out a bit but thats due to my comming of the drugs for a while.

Speaking of "don't worry about protein." There is a natural bodybuilder (NOT lifetime natural, btw) named Markus Reinhardt who actually REDUCES his protein intake before comps and eats more carbs. He was a friend of Mike Mentzer, who also was a "low protein" and high carb guy.

Just last week this guy Matt I know was going on about taking this type of protein pre-WO, and this other kind post-WO....and how he takes in 1.5 grams per pound. and i'm like..."that's a waste of time and money...I eat about 100 grams a day...I think, really don't keep track"....and you could see the gears grinding in his brain as he tried to process what I was saying to him ;D

I never thought getting in shape was so easy , only after i upped my gh dose to 10ius + daily..I was too always counting and measuring food , endless hrs of cardio..upped my gh , no cardio , leaner and having a cheat meal daily and in better condition...it's a drug game, period

Fuck all this. The best shape I was ever in was also at the point of my life when I was producing a lot of natural test.
Now what does being in shape mean? Looking like Ronnie Coleman? A Men's health cover model? That kid from twilight? This is a big factor. If you want to look like an IFBB pro then yes 15 IU of GH a day is needed, if you want to look like the werewolf from twilight, all you need to do is watch your total calories, be active and take some ECA near the end of your diet.
For me when I was in my best shape, veins running through my abs , but I didn't look like a competitor but more like a male stripper. I ate 6 boiled eggs in the morning, 1 slice of toast and only had 2 egg yolks, 2 BBQ chicken breasts and rice , steak and rice and a protein shake. I ate this every day. I had a body that litteraly had the hottest girls walk over to touch me and feel my abs.
Now I am about 4-5 times stronger and bigger, look more like a bodybuilder than a male stripper, now only guys want to touch my arms and abs, girls stay a couple feet back.
I want to look like that twink again, but my mind is fucked, I can't go back, I can't lift lighter, I can't do 225 for 25 reps because I'd rather do 350 for 8. I like the feeling and am addicited to the feeling of getting stronger and lifting heavier.
I never needed a guru because I've always had an active mindset, took nutrition and kinesiology in college as extra credits so I know what works and what doesn't for me. FOR ME, not you, not someone else, not some bullshit cookie cutter diet that may work for 25% of the population but for me.

I think nearly all of us can relate in some way as people who used to do everything right with disappointing results...only to up the gear and realize how stupid we all were.

Pretend you can look like that natural like the other delusional kids here, tell yourself that if you just train hard enough and long enough it will happen.. waste your best years being an OCD loner who passes up parties to stay home and get a good nights sleep, be OCD about meal timings and supplements, and never missing a workout and other stuff that doesn't matter... then eventually give up in disgust hating yourself for not being good enough.
meanwhile go suck some fake naturals c-ck in his workout journal or contest prep diary and tell him how much you admire his dedication and work ethic and defend him online when people call him out for lying.

Do you think that was also a big factor in getting rid of the bit of stubborn fat as opposed to only being the reduction of protein/calories and intake of drugs?

i stopped eating like a flex magazine dorkie after a few years of training, even stopped buying protein powder now and actually made a growth leap on the moment i thought it wasnt possible anymore. focussed only on training more intense and smart. these schemes in those mags turn people into permabulkers instead of athletes.

Magz, Supps companies , they all work in concert to sell you the lie..and make money out of you,..They tell you need certain amount of protein, supps or you wont reach your goal ...I always question the '45 minutes window of oppourtunity crap after workouts and that you need a faster protein and fast carbs PWO .. it makes sense on paper but ive also gotten in shape ,eating a solid meal for pwo and didnt notice a difference, actually ive gotten harder and leaner eating solid food for all my meals than when ive thrown 2-3 shakes in the mix..

first off i'd like to give credit to the mighty buselmo for coming forward and dispelling any current beliefs and notions about what it takes to get in shape. the guy speaks the truth and its refreshing to say the least.
heres the deal- i have been for the better part of my training/competing life a 'strict dieting'; guy. this means all ratios and calories were measured. nothing given to chance. steroids were used but not relied upon to give me the size and conditioning i wanted.
i never in all those years achieved what i thought of as my full potential competitively, and that played a big part in why i quit- i just figured i didnt have the genetics (the other part being i honestly hated being onstage).
over the past 2 years i started gh. my shit is good. as is any anabolics i have used. one thing i have been very lucky with is getting good gear. i built a good bit of quality in this time- no not size, quality- i didnt want nor do i now want to get bigger. but for the past two years i have had an almost impossible time getting that last little bit of stubborn fat off no matter how hard i dieted. by stubborn fat i mean the last 2% to get me shredded looking to the point you dont need a diuretic to see the quality of the muscle or conditioning- i have always thought that if you were lean enough you wont need a diuretic to look good and i still feel this way, unless your competing, much different story as those stage light as very unforgiving- anyone can look good in their living room.
so, i have sat sat with unhappily with a bf level for the last 2 years i couldnt shake off which was frustratiing to say the least as every time i got lean, i got way to stringy and started to lose too much lean. it was a tricky balancing act for sure.

Do you think that was also a big factor in getting rid of the bit of stubborn fat as opposed to only being the reduction of protein/calories and intake of drugs?
fior sure- thats why i said in my post get on a stairclimber at the gym. a lot of guys are afraid to do cardio they figure it'll rip into their lean- i was the same. first thing- if your taking anabolics you'll save lean, and to get into that last 2% you'll need cardio. i got on the scale today for the first time in 3 weeks at the gym-247.5 pounds and leaner than i have ever. holy fuck that amount of bro science that i dispelled for myself that i believed for years is crazy- catch this- i actually gained lbm on a VERY low protein diet while preforming intense cardio (HIT) over long periods of time- basically everything i did your not supposed to do, and got the exact opposite results of what was supposed to happen by doing it.

Magz, Supps companies , they all work in concert to sell you the lie..and make money out of you,..They tell you need certain amount of protein, supps or you wont reach your goal ...I always question the '45 minutes window of oppourtunity crap after workouts and that you need a faster protein and fast carbs PWO .. it makes sense on paper but ive also gotten in shape ,eating a solid meal for pwo and didnt notice a difference, actually ive gotten harder and leaner eating solid food for all my meals than when ive thrown 2-3 shakes in the mix..

I've said this a few times before...
There is no solid proof that a bodybuilder or any human being for that matter needs 1.5-2 grams of protein per pound of lean mass.
The formula I've used is to keep it at 1 gram of protein per Kilogram. For me, that adds up to roughly 90-100 grams of protein per day (tops). If I fall below that range, it makes no difference.
Obviously, if you use quality GH and various anabolics, it becomes too easy. If you're natural, you have to watch your caloric intake (aiming for a caloric deficit) in order to properly lose weight.

It depends on what we cook. Last night we made Nashville Fried Chicken, Cat Head Biscuits and Raspberry Almond Cheesecake Bars and All American Potato Salad. Fried Chicken has a lot of Protein so it was pretty high.
Some days are lower, for instance last week we were planting Ligustrum Japonicums for a formal hedge out front and raking leaves, it was getting really late so we did not have time to cook so I went to Hardee`s and got 2 Double Cheeseburgers, 1 1/4 Thick Burger, Apple Turnover, Small Fries which is around 80 grams of protein at about 2100 calories. Not bad at all. I also had a Asparagus and Peas with 4 whole eggs. I ate all of that at one time so it was a little over 100 grams of protein probably. 100-120 I`d estimate. I never count or keep track of it.

N: Everyone has different DNA and a different gene pool and different metabolism. I belong to the group-type who can maintain my size by not having protein for weeks. at the beginning I used to use mostly free weights on everything then i started using more machines/cables/smith and I progressed that's when it clicked that the "free weight is better for growth" was a load of bullshit

first off i'd like to give credit to the mighty buselmo for coming forward and dispelling any current beliefs and notions about what it takes to get in shape. the guy speaks the truth and its refreshing to say the least.
heres the deal- i have been for the better part of my training/competing life a 'strict dieting'; guy. this means all ratios and calories were measured. nothing given to chance. steroids were used but not relied upon to give me the size and conditioning i wanted.
i never in all those years achieved what i thought of as my full potential competitively, and that played a big part in why i quit- i just figured i didnt have the genetics (the other part being i honestly hated being onstage).
over the past 2 years i started gh. my shit is good. as is any anabolics i have used. one thing i have been very lucky with is getting good gear. i built a good bit of quality in this time- no not size, quality- i didnt want nor do i now want to get bigger. but for the past two years i have had an almost impossible time getting that last little bit of stubborn fat off no matter how hard i dieted. by stubborn fat i mean the last 2% to get me shredded looking to the point you dont need a diuretic to see the quality of the muscle or conditioning- i have always thought that if you were lean enough you wont need a diuretic to look good and i still feel this way, unless your competing, much different story as those stage light as very unforgiving- anyone can look good in their living room.
so, i have sat sat with unhappily with a bf level for the last 2 years i couldnt shake off which was frustratiing to say the least as every time i got lean, i got way to stringy and started to lose too much lean. it was a tricky balancing act for sure.
fast forward to that last two weeks- and this is where buselmo's truths come into play. i went to south american on vacation. i took with me enough eq, winstrol and my prop for 3 weeks cause i am juice monkey at heart and this is what we do- we never stray far from the syringe kids- if you want to be big you gotta learn this rule.- no i wont tell you how i transported it- pm me if you want to know. in that amount of time i trained twice. two upper body workouts. i didnt count calories. i didnt count protein but i can bet it was less than 100 grams a day- for a period of 4-5 days when i was in the mountains i can assure you it was less than 50. i existed on grains, and fruits. i was climbing thru mountain passes, sometimes elevations of over 2000M in one days time- picture being on a stair climber for 6-7 hours a day.
i got back yesterday and when i looked in the mirror (cause you really dont have any idea how your body has changed till you see it in the same mirror and lighting you always are used to seeing it) i had lost that final 2%. i was bigger and rounder than i have ever been. my legs/calves which i havent trained now for a month are considerably fuller from all the climbing. all on less than 100 grams of protein a day.
heres the moral of the story and guys like gh and buselmo and will grant etc etc will keep pounding away at it till you all get it- THIS IS A DRUG DRIVEN PAST TIME AND RESULTS ARE TOTALLY DEPENDANT ON INTAKE AND NOTHING LESS. fuck calories. fuck protein. fuck macros. fuck gurus- take your steroids like good little boys and girls and a lot of them. eat all the carbs you need to give you whatever fuel your body will need to keep moving and working, and if you cant afford 15units of gh a day, get your lazy ass on a stair climber and grind out some long ass intense cardio sessions to get your metabolism going and burn off the baby fat. thats it. and if you can afford the gh, then fuck the stairclimber too.
why did i take the time to write this- cause for the most part i come here to bust balls and have fun. cause i know there are guys on here in the same boat as me- good physiques who have been busting their ass for years dieting and counting macros. its not necessary and it'll be hard for you to get your mind around it after decades of being fed the same ignorant bullshit about 'dieting' cause i was the same way. diet diet diet. keep the protein up. what a joke.
heres my challenge for guys who are lean but trying to get off that last 2 %- try it for two weeks. eat whatever macros you want. dont stuff yourself full- by now you should know your bodies well enough to know when you need fuel and when you dont. and give your body only enough to keep going. exist on coffee the rest of the time as a stim. eat when you are hungry- fuck the clock. do some cardio if you cant afford the gh. come back here and tell me thats you didnt lose that bf, get fuller and look better.

I'm a little confused. You posted this a while back
there are no secret diets only secret methods of taking hormones (timing, dosing, i.m/i.v/s.c, tons of other secrets from many years of doing it)
when it comes to diet it is VERY VERY simple. in order to step on stage at any national competition you need to eat your mommy and daddy offseason. anything and everything (lots of protien included).
some use high dose hormones with it and some dont go as high when it comes to hormones in the offseason.
offseason is when you eat what ever the fuk you want! inorder to do it and not to get fat you also need to start with a bodyfat that is low enough... so do not do it if youre 18% bodyfat because you will end up as a fat baloon. first bring your bodyfat to a nice 10% level no matter even if it means you will be 160lb it shouldnt matter to you! you want to start with low-medium bodyfat levels
ONLY THEN you can start eat whatever you want during offseason and ofcourse dont ever forget to train and train right and heavy not only heavy for ego. you will never find any one that step on national stage working with EXTREME heavy weights unless it's done for a dvd. powerlifting yes bodybuilding NO and i dont care what 90% of my fella homos tell you (you can do it both naturally as a gym rat and on hormones as 99% of competetive bodybuilder out there)
the only time to start looking at what you eat is 14-16 weeks pre competition when you need to shed those 13% down to 7%. last few weeks from 6%-7% to 4% is a process that involve lots of interesting hormones/cardio and ofcourse duretics for the water.
if you dont eat like a beast offseason you will never be big period. the reason we are big is food/hormone combo and NO ONE CAN EAT CLEAN WHILE BEING ACTIVE AND TAKING ENOUGH CALORIES OF THE DRY CHIKEN AND THE BROWN RICE... ENOUGH TO GROW MUSCLE. YOU ONLY DO IT WHEN YOU DIET DOWN AND NEED TO GET READY FOR STAGE. DONT EVER LOOK AT US WHEN WE EAT OUR LITTLE CONTAINERS IN THE GYM INFRONT OF YOU OR AT THE LOCAL SUPPLEMENT STORE WE OPERATE/OWN... THOSE CLEAN MEALS ARE EATEN WHEN DIETING AND ONLY WHEN DIETING FOR COMPETITION. offseason you will find us between subways and pizza hut ...between outback and ruby tuesday and between puncakes waffles and lots of eggwhites.
whatever it takes get those calories in and make sure there is lots of protien/day...dont forget to train your 4/5 sessions a week and hormonize yourself at the right stage of development and you will be doing fine.

Not to take away from adonis since he is the one who relaunched the concept if you will, but this is what educated scientists and our wacko friend Mike Mentzer have been saying all along. You can google the Heavy Duty Nutrition booklet, it's a free PDF. I found the backwards calculations on how much protein you really need quite funny and revealing, was something like 1 extra gr of protein per day gain 15lbs of lean muscle a year.

I don't think anyone could find this sort of information on any other board. The high protein bullshit lie is just that...a bunch of mythical shit used by mags, supplement comps, protein industry, websites, etc. to sell more and make money. Personally, I experienced the same being drug free, lowered my protein intake to 50-100 grams a day and no difference physique wise....well, there was a difference I got leaner.

Next morning I wake up with fucking abs, full ass shoulders and chest, and arms and legs that look like big black cocks. Fuck all the people that don't understand this. just so you know... 3 weeks now... eating cheerios, grapefruit juice, 2 eggs and whey in the morning, chicken sandwich lunch (which cheese spread, mayo, olives, and cheddar), and 2 egg sandwiches for dinner... waist is down 1.25 inches and getting leaner... only working out 3 days a week.
drugs = muscle
fat burners + eating like a japanese midget = lean really quick
I assure you... you can eat less than 100 grams of protein a day and get better results if you focus on the big picture more.

t3 - 75 mcg-daily..i have a proocol in which i up the dose then brig it down and up again and so on
healthy assed cycle...my bloodwork comes up perfect and i can stay on this for as long as i want to, wheter i wanna bulk or get ripped it all depends on the amount of food ,cabrs i eat.. ...3 -4 weeks out when im realy , and i mean really lean i add HALOTESTIN for the final punch....

I am living proof that all this hardgainer or ectomorph crap in bodybuilding is BS... i used to weigh 62-62 kg with a 32 inch waist eating fried chicken and McDonalds all day long...
now i eat less than 2000 cals... some days 1000 cals... and my weight rarely dips under 93 kg. this is with T3, clen, ephedrine...
I just don't have a good appetite... unless i eat sweets all the time... guess if i don't keep my blood sugar levels stable and low all the time, and they start fluctuating, i go crazy.

yeah offseason i switch to test enanthate ( Normas) so i pin 500mgs of mondays and 500mgs on thrusdays...sometimes , i even cruise for 4-5 weeks at TRT type of doses like 300mgs of test to give my body a break but during that time which is no more than 4 weeks i blast my gh to 20 ius and add slin 10ius PWO on training days to keep my size..;)

EQ is a great addition but I personally rather stay with masteron or Primo...and now that strango is cooking Primo too I might go ..400mgs of masteron ,400mgs of primo ..;)

i've always said that i think theres something mentally about pinning all the time that makes you feel "different" than the average joe almost like you have more invested in the lifestyle so i can understand what youre saying, hell its better than orals all the time thats for sure.

mix up 2 whole eggs and two egg whites, add salt, pepper, and basil, and cook as an omelet on low heat, when it's 3/4 done, i slice it in half in the pan and add a slice of fat free cheese on each piece. then when it's done and the cheese is melted, i make two sandwiches and add some sliced tomatoes.
