I was thinking the same. During this segment Nasser hit the RLS (leaning back) like in the pic I posted which looks amazing. It brought out all of the separation and detail in his back and made him look wider. It's weird that Nasser didn't do this through out his career rather than lean forward which takes away everything I mentioned above.

Id say 50-60 lb test. Of course, he's gonna be reeling in some big fish, although Bobs has lost quite a bit of weight.

No thickness, no detail, no conditioning in his back... pretty much awful everywhere. All he has is width.
Absolutley NO christmas tree, which is a direct product of lat/lower trap thickness in most cases.

Just because his back as a bodypart lagged a bit, doesn't mean he was "weak from the back" as a whole, still had incredible calves, great hams, delts and arms from the back angle. You guys exaggerate the whole weakness "from the back."
The back group of muscles comprises the largest portion of those poses - his whole back was dogshit, and when youre missing 5/8 of the body from the rear, yeah, it can be considered dogshit, not just weak.
yeah, he had good calves, ok Hams, but his whole back was absolute crap. Good calves and hams dont make up for missing your torso.

You are extremely naive to think Dorian did not use any diuretics in 96 - FYI not all diuretics available to pros were even on the banned list. Also, for people who falsely believe that Nasser's 96 Olympia performance was due to him using diuretics whereas competitors were not - can they explain why he dominated the 96 Grand Prix shows immediately after, where all competitors had equal access to use what they wanted?

Nasser fucked up a lot of his poses, his lat spread would have looked a lot better if he pulled back and flared his shoulders more instead of bunching forward and crunching down on his abs.
Side tricep he hit wrong a lot too, pulling in tight instead of twisting and showing more of his lat, like Sarcasm said.

this is a perfect shot to show how Dorians upper and inner back thickness and detail won shots, Nasser is ridiculously wide through the back in this shot but the picture is caught in differet moments.

His side chest he dropped his arm to far down near the waist and didn't pull his arm back and pecs , he honestly sucked at posing & presentation. You bring up a great point about his front latspread too

his legs took everything, you cant even imagine how big this guys legs looked in person, i thought they were three dimesional till i saw the man in person, quads, hams, calves were all comic book.

You obviously dont know bodybuilding prep very well at all. Dieting is to remove bodyfat, diuretics is to remove water. The only things that one might change in their contest prep if they don't have access to diuretics are the fine stuff just days before the show like sodium intake, amount of carb loading, or when to cut your water intake off. The effects of these decisions reverse practically the day after the show and woudl not effect the Grand Prix shows over the next few weeks. So what you're saying is his physique was better than the contest results suggested, since his method of holding poses could have been improved - that's actually a compliment to him because having consistent 2-3rd places at a Mr. Olympia where he's losing points due to posing suggests the physique itself could very well have been #1 ;)

I don't really care if Dorian lied, most bodybuilders do, what I found so laughable that I had to point out is how silly you were to actually believe that a bodybuilder will intentionally diet harder than normal and lose muscle in the process only because they are worried they wont have the same tools to get rid of all the water in the last few days.

I don't really care if Dorian lied, most bodybuilders do, what I found so laughable that I had to point out is how silly you were to actually believe that a bodybuilder will intentionally diet hard and lose muscle in the process because they are worried they wont have the same tools to get rid of all the water in the last few days.
