i love how "world star hip hop" always seems to catch these "incidents" right at the very moment the cops start getting physical with these scumbags, they never show what the guy did to provoke the attack. ::)

as if the guy was just sitting at the bus stop minding his own business with his legs crossed and eyeglasses halfway down his nose reading Catcher in the Rye and the cops drove by and said "im bored lets go beat up that black guy" ::)

ill gaurantee it was more than that, id bet anything he made a move towards one of them, some people have to learn the hard way, you will NEVER WIN in a fight against cops, you may beat one but you will have the wrath of  every cop in the area on you and hell will reign down on you.

What are cops to do if a guy is fighting back like that?  Not justifying, just asking a serious question.  What would you have done if you were a cop in a situation like this one?

It certainly looks so  :-X

Here cops must pass a mandatory test at least every other year and otherwise maintain "physical condition required to fulfill tasks". Makes sense to me.
There is no way those guys on video have passed any physical test in their whole lives !!

Unless the "tasks" are beating up people that are on the ground of course...

making ANY type of physically threatening movement towards a police officer is probably the stupidest most dangerous thing you can do, these people have the power and authority to kill you and then just write a paper on it and its forgotten.

Goes hand in hand with the fact people are getting stupider an lack respect for authority being raised by single moms. Cops need to get more violent cause people are more violent, as simple as that, both psychologically, verbally, and physically.

Catcher in the Rye was a pretty subversive novel.  But it didn't have anything in it about grape Kool Aid, Newports, crack, or doggy stylin' fat white girls with low self-esteem, so of course black guys wouldn't read it.

Racist post self-reported.   :-X

Agree, it's like a swing where violence sits on either side.

Resist and get beat, simple.
99 percent of the time if you "resist" by simply pulling away or twisting youll just get wrestled to the ground with a boot in your neck but this guy obviously swung something at them or lunged suddenly to get that type of reaction.

For my sins I watch COPS a lot and have noticed that for them simply not complying fast enough is resisting and is often a prelude to a beatdown.

Pretend you're a cop.
If you want to arrest someone, and they don't lie down and put their hands behind their back,
you are going to beat their ass.
I expect more from getbig.

On ocassion I watch COPS (not very often) and coming from that background, I see many times when the cops hesitate to act and the suspect is giving obvious (to veteren cops) signs they are about to bolt, or resist. So it can go either way. Rookies are taught that when they make the decision to arrest, don't give the suspect a lot of time to think.. it never turns out good. But I hear where your coming from.
