you punk wanna stop looking like Down Hill?
This is what you do:
You start with heavy hammer curls. 8-10 reps good form but you gotta shit your pants to finish those reps. Seated. 60-90 secs rest.
Then you proceed to spider curls (lying in bench) or in the flat part on the preacher bench. +12 reps. 30 secs rest max
Then altern db curls, the two dbs at a time. Seated. Once you can't do more. So some additional reps one at a time. +12 reps. 30 secs rest max. Then lower the weight incline the bench and do 3 more sets.
Finnish with cable curls, super narrow grip +15 reps. 30 secs rest max
cliffs:
hammer curls 5x8-10
spiders 4x12
alterns 6x12
cable curls 3x15

What MuscleMag International did you steal that poorly written routine from?
If i were to copy it, my first question would be "do I do the alternate db curls alternating or one arm at a time?" Since that's what your golden routine says to do.

You won't find this in any mag. Its my creation.
You NEVER start alternating. You always start with both arm at a time and use the altern to do a few more reps after.
And this is not the key. The key is the order or the exercises, the rep ranges and the rest periods.

he has weak bis because he is not following my principles. Additionally he should read "elbows=key to mass" for overall mass and my triceps rutine
I just annihilated tris today. Did a shitload of sets with little rest. My tris where so engorged in blood i lost all deatil only to have a bicep growing in my tricep ;D
6 sets of rope pushdowns to warm up
4sets 1 arm rope pushdowns
4sets 1 arm db seated french press
4sets 1 arm db lying french press
3sets 1arm reverse pushdowns
4sets dips
3 sets overhead rope extensions.
stop being so weak and afraid of volume and try it, bitches.

Nothing wrong with some volume, but a natural runs much faster in a over-training mode, recovery is a bitch (yes, nattie)
volume works for everyone. What you should avoid if you don't want to overtrain is going to failure and doing bullshit training like forced reps, negatives, rest-pause...train normal and you will not overtrain.

Odd, my delts respond great to no direct volume whatsoever. No such luck with my short, peakless shitty biceps though. I just tell myself I have super-awesome tri's, shoulders and back, it's all how you look at the issue. ;)
Or maybe I'll just start using my bi's as injection sites. My arse is getting bigger and I don't train that at all...

volume works for everyone. What you should avoid if you don't want to overtrain is going to failure and doing bullshit training like forced reps, negatives, rest-pause...train normal and you will not overtrain.

But on a serious note, in most cases I train pretty strict, keep the tension on the muscle, slow down the negatives and go near/to failure with barbells/dumbbells only. About 4 sets and I have a good pump. Once you reached a pump, no need to continue, esp for a relative small muscle.
This is what works for me, and the job is done in 10-15 minutes :)
