It's not even about editing. It's about it's compilation from the beginning. When a bunch of men sit around a vote on which manuscripts to include, and leave out at least one that shows up with the Dead Sea Scrolls and is mentioned in the bible...doesn't give me a lot of confidence

Because people want to believe the paintings that they have seen---the paintings from way back. Which depict him as some large eyed, limp-wristed, groveling man.
Then there is the Shroud of Turin, which I believe is a man a lot taller than 5'1-5'2, which was about the average height for men at that time, in that area.
People have been brainwashed or conditioned to think one thing. Oh and that he wore a bunch of colorful (blue, red) clothing, and sat around all day, looking up in the sky with pleading eyes, and praying.

I havent met any christian that says jesus is married.
He will come back one day to earth one day and get married, abolish the eating of the pig and break the cross. He will stop all the wars and bring peace to the earth. He will stay on earth for 40 years.

They've done genetic testing and discovered there is minimal connection between the Khazar population and European Jewry. When testing European Jewish males, it was found that the Y-DNA haplogroups J and E, which are typical of the Middle East, are common among European Jews. This demonstrates a direct migratory line from the Middle East to Europe.
They also found traces of European (including Northern Italian and Western Slavic or Eastern Slavic) in the European Jews. This would be a predictable result of interbreeding with the native European populations.

This is correct actually. The blue eyed, light skinned Jesus in paintings is simply inaccurate.

Well all believing faiths used to cover, male and female. That's a fact. Even zoroastrian men and women cover! It's one of the oldest monotheistic faith, I studied them before embracing Islam as well, unfortunately much of their teachings have been lost and later perverted (they end up worshipping fire). Their women also wear the veil, their men also wear head coverings like what muslim men and jewish men wear.
Mary was veiled too and is always portrayed as such, whenever movies are made regarding Jesus or Abraham or Moses, the women would also be shown covering their faces at times (as per bible descriptions). The difference is we Muslims uphold these values of modesty today.
There is nothing wrong with the burqa or niqab. In fact I have a few friend's who's wives wear it. In fact one of them is a teacher and she wears it. It's a whole fear mongering and misinformation ploy to make people hate Islam and Muslims today. You don't see anyone criticizing christian nuns, african and middle-eastern jews (not israelis).
Christians have totally abandoned anything linked to the abrahamaic faiths, Jesus or Mary, they follow in the footsteps of the Romans. The Romans are the ones who popularized shaving for instance hence roman catholic priests shave. Who told them not to mary women and be 'celibate'?
In the bible there are plenty of verses referring to veils and what you would call burqa/niqab.
Likewise the jews, have abandoned much relating to God, modesty, God's law, and just carry a label, do whatever their desire tells them.
Yes some people wear it out of culture/tradition, but this is religiously a dress code. Not all muslim women for instance wear it, but some chose to do it. It does not mean that women who cover themselves to this extent are uneducated or incapable to talk for themselves, it's quite the opposite if you listen to some of them be they converts or not converts (as far as muslims go). And yes it is indeed interesting that in parts of Africa the older Jewish traditions are retained you will find women not only wearing hijab but niqab as well :)
Just go to youtube and look up 'niqab in bible' and 'burqa in bible'. One example of a verse where a women wore the veil, a strange man approaches and she covers her face. Or another example, an evil man rips off the face covering of the woman and rapes her. Stories of the bible for ya.
The whole principle behind hijab, niqab, burqa, etc... is to protect women's dignity not to 'oppress' women as some westerners think. Especially womenizers like sarkozy that made it punishable with jail time to wear niqab in France.
It's ironic that the west talks about liberation of women through exploitation of women. "Cover girl" makeup, more like 'enhance expose girl', it's an ironic society we live in. Where it's 'liberation' to be exploited for one night stands in clubs and bars. To be a 'model' to be a porn 'star', etc... but then women who cover themselves are 'oppressed' for not showing what some pervs wana see.

I know exactly what you speak of. Many of the women I have spoken to who wear hijabs here in Canada say they do it by choice, and that they find it very liberating. I completely understand this. My skin is extremely sensitive to cold, and sometimes in the winter, I will wear a balaclava to protect my skin from Canadian temperature extremes. Not quite a hijab, but for all intents & purposes accomplishes the same thing.
When you step outside your house, and get hit on 24/7, having to constantly put up with lame lines, and vain attempts to get your attention, constantly forced to smile, and sweetly deflect unwanted attention, ...but then throw a balaclava over your face, ...and nothing, . I found it extremely liberating. And I know how it makes my blood boil when sometimes even my own colleagues urge me to get a webcam because "you're easy on the eyes". ::)
I know they don't mean offense, and I know they're only trying to be complimentary, but they don't understand how it can make a woman feel like a piece of meat amidst a pack of ravenous dogs.
I can see why hijabis find it so liberating, ...not only in preserving modesty, but also in preserving respect for men. It's really hard to maintain respect for men when you see their brains turn to mush over a pretty face, ...and they turn into stupid adolescents trying to impress you with stupid ego driven efforts at alpha-maleness. It seems so much easier to cover up and let the few brain calls they have function again. :'(

The whole premise of a woman covering herself is to be respected and judged on piety, modesty and intellect, rather than physical objectification which western society thrives on.

No, these guys who have been making these comments are both happily married men who would never dream of behaving inappropriately towards me, ...they, just don't get it. One of them cracks jokes about if Judi got a webcam and starting doing some of the webcasts, maybe he could finally get some of his downline to attend. They think it's funny, they think they're being complimentary. I find it demeaning.
There was one time, I was trying to persuade the North American Leadership council to alter the way in which they did a few things. One person in particular who was pretty much in charge, and didn't want to make any changes to the way he was doing it. The subject came up spontaneously on a conference call, and he was laughing saying he wasn't going to change anything. well, one of our colleagues made the statement, "Judi, I'm sure all you have to do is smile at him to get him to change his mind". I was shocked & appalled. I felt demeaned & insulted, ...and I thought he had inadvertently insulted the man whose mind I as trying to change as well. I'm glad his wife wasn't on the conference call. I'm sure she would have really appreciated hearing all about how all I had to do was smile at her husband in order to get my way NOT. And here's the thing, ...he wasn't trying to be sexist, or to insult either one of us, ...he just doesn't get it. In the end, I was able to persuade him as well as the entire leadership council to adopt the changes I had suggested, ...not because I smiled at anyone, but simply because they realized it was so much more effective and far more efficient than what they were doing before.

Respect I do not object to, but I'd personally rather not be judged at all. Not even on piety, modesty or intellect. When you step outside your house, and get hit on 24/7, having to constantly put up with lame lines, and vain attempts to get your attention, constantly forced to smile, and sweetly deflect unwanted attention, ...but then throw a balaclava over your face, ...and nothing, . I found it extremely liberating. And I know how it makes my blood boil when sometimes even my own colleagues urge me to get a webcam because "you're easy on the eyes". ::)
I know they don't mean offense, and I know they're only trying to be complimentary, but they don't understand how it can make a woman feel like a piece of meat amidst a pack of ravenous dogs.
I can see why hijabis find it so liberating, ...not only in preserving modesty, but also in preserving respect for men. It's really hard to maintain respect for men when you see their brains turn to mush over a pretty face, ...and they turn into stupid adolescents trying to impress you with stupid ego driven efforts at alpha-maleness. Jews are not white. Original Jews like the ones that remained acros Africa and the middle-east were brown skin. "White Jews" or euro khazar Jews are converts. Ashkenazi jews.
The majority of Jews today are not semetic at all. They are europeans. They immigrated in the hundreds of thousands to Palestine way before world war 1. From Europe, east-europe, russia, etc...
If you want to see some original Jews still today, well.. look at Ethiopian and Yemeni Jews. Even Persian Jews in Iran. I had a Morrocon friend who's family was a generation ago Jewish but they became Muslim. He is quite brown skin and does have certain Jewish appearance traits but he is not a 'white' european Jew.
Not to say that they were black, there are light skin brown and darker brown skin people.

Ancient Egyptians were known to sometimes have blonde or even red hair. Studies have even shown that half of European men share the same DNA as Pharaoh Tutankhamen.

Ethiopians are Hamatic tribes not Semetic like the Jews, Jews of today can look like any race cause they scattered all over the earth and mixed their race with others, for the most part they would be white or at most light brown. There may be a few descendant of Solomon in Ethiopia cause he married Queen Sheba from Ethiopia and they had a child but we are talking less then 1% of total Jews here.
The Jewish people went through Babylonian and Persian rule for a while but the Persians and the Babylonians did not live in Israel during their reign. In contrast during Roman and Greek rule, both Romans and Greeks lived in Israel. Then of course Germanic tribes and Saxons also lived with the Jews after the fall of Rome but before the Arab invasion. After the Arab invasions in the 7th century, The Eastern Romans (out of Constantinople), also known as the Byzantium Empire came back to Israel/Palestine, also the French and the British.
