No.  This.  Just by smoking a cigarette, DeNiro lets you know his dastardly plan of offing the crew.  No words even needed.

Fucking awesome.. OK, he does a lot of crappy films now, but ,for me, for at least a decade he was the finest screen actor of all time.

Traning day was a wicked movie. Denzil should play bad guy more often.

I want to say that I read somewhere this scene went way off script and ended up being more improvisation.

Also, there is so much about Training Day that makes that movie.  Ethan Hawke did great but was so overly shadowed by Denzel it was ridiculous.  Just the way he was saying "Jake" has such contempt to it.

absolutely. ive never seen such chemistry and spark between 2 actors, playing their roles perfectly of course. that flick is amazing on so many levels, deep, deep stuff.

and the uss Indianapolis scene from Jaws always gave me goosbumps. when i first watched that scene it moved me, enough for me to research what really happened those 3 days they spent out there fearing for their lives.

This movie has numerous scenes that are legendary but this one here is very important because though it as made 36 years ago, it predicted how media would be today and they were on the money.  I'll create a thread about later, I wanted to for a while.  Sit back, open your mind, watch and more importantly, listen.

From one of the best movies of all time from some damn fine actors.  If you've neve seen it,  highly suggest you do.  It won four Oscars.  Made in 1976.

Without a doubt, Daniel Day Lewis wins for greatest performance.   A scene from the movie There Will Be Blood.
