sometimes the bible cant do it because of the astronomy in the bible veiled with names and numbers that makes you feel like it will take 200 years to fully grasp, in a world that doesnt allow for too much learning on top of all the working you do

there are great morals to be learned in the bible but beyond the wonderful morals to be learned from the bible, the reader can get confused when reading the bible because of the numbers and the names wich seemingly have no real significance to the reader or anything
a true christian would have to agree alot of the stories dont make sense with the numbers and all that. WHy? because the numbers and names are not literall but describing light or planetary movement
there are added stories of morality to the bible for good reason, because if you look at the world we are so far off the wagon in the moral sense.

The Biblical stories are real historical accounts so of course they are meant to be taken literally. Reading the Bible isn't enough; you've to read it properly and glorify God/the Lord.

Yes there's incest but the Bible was speaking the truth (to show the negative effects of immorality). There are no lies in the Bible; it's all truth (the word of God is faithful and true so for your own good think twice about insulting the GREAT GOD who created all things for His own pleasure). God also had to kill many people because of their wickedness and will rightfully condemn many evil souls at the day of judgment. You don't know just how depraved folk (monsters were more like what they were) were in those days. Please don't misunderstand the Bible for God is good though 'the whole world lieth in wickedness'! You're misunderstanding everything. They weren't created as wicked for God created everything good! Man fell from grace and sin entered the bloodstream so to speak. Blame Satan for lying to and tempting Eve who then tempted Adam. Don't lash out at a God who loves you beyond measure and that incidentally is the same great God who created all things (including the heaven and all that dwell therein, the earth and all that dwell therein and the sea and all that dwell therein).

Of course all things were created including Satan but Satan wasn't created that way (as a fallen being). He was created good as Lucifer the covering cherub. And how does Satan's existence mean that God the Creator isn't the most powerful force in the universe? Satan's existence is upheld by God and Jesus as Satan is just a creation like you and me and Satan, though a powerful angel, isn't even the mightiest angel. God allowed Satan to tempt Eve to test her and Adam as He had already given them clear instructions.

its not that "god" is an asshole its that the bible isnt meant to be taken literally , it is charting the heavens when its saying it killed something it means a planetary collision or something of that nature. the key is knowing root words that is the missing puzzle peices

God doesn't derive relief from torturing us; in fact He is pained to see us suffer. He is testing us and not tormenting us. Satan's activities are greatly restricted by God anyway. God gave Lucifer free will but Lucifer failed the test and instead of doing what he was supposed to do and glorifying God of his own volition (God is glorified when you have free will and CHOOSE to glorify Him!), he rebelled against God. God exterminated those people and not Satan despite both being wicked as keeping them alive served no more purpose. When a child dies of bone cancer, he goes to heaven. Of such (little children)is the kingdom of God. Where's the sadness in that? God and Jesus have given me a nice life and I communicate (pray) regularly with them. We humans are commanded to pray ALWAYS. Women don't fill the void in our heart; only God does.

There are different types of grace. When I say man fell from grace I mean man fell from his perfection/sinlessness and communion with God.

When a child dies of bone cancer he gets to leave the pain/imperfection of this life and go to PARADISE (not just a better place!). When you understand that how can there be any room for sadness? You should be overjoyed rather. God is not testing us with torment but rather giving us a choice between good and evil. That's all there is to it so don't put nonsense into the water please. If there's any torment we bring it upon ourselves by our own sinful proclivities and decisions. God has the power to end Satan's evil but that evil is necessary for the time being and since God has mercy upon us, that evil is severely immured. What is the significance of that minute evil when for all eternity (for ever and ever) there will be no more evil or sin after Satan and his angels and all wicked humans are cast into the lake of fire? That's where you're headed to also unless you turn from your evil way and repent and seek God. The only thing skewed here is the way your brain sees things.

Heaven is not a non-existent place. You can't see it but it's there. The child suffers (if he suffers at all) only for a short time and don't forget that that child is not perfect either yet God allows Him into His kingdom. The friends and family should be relieved that the child's pain is over and that he is in a better place.

God doesn't need to talk about the cosmos or the sun as they are utterly insignificant to Him and to man. God is not experimenting but rather testing because while He is perfect and cannot sin His creation is limited and CAN do ill unlike Him.

JUDGED for what, being a human being. What a joke, God creates man knowing all the sins that he will commit throughout his life and yet still judges him. What a disturbed creator, that's like a programmer, deliberately creating software that is frustrating, full of bugs and doesn't work very well and then when the program fails to work the way the programmer wants, blames the very program he created. It would have been nice if GOD was an all powerful being who took RESPONSIBILITY for his actions, unfortunately he is NOT! So he is all powerful but doesn't have enough power to take responsibility for his actions. HHHMMM, Interesting paradox. The sad things is, I know a lot of human beings who are far less judgemental and way more merciful than the GOD you describe. How sad that is.

Why does GOD feel a NEED to test HUMANS, that doesn't make any sense, is GOD a SADIST?. If I genetically engineered an animal, then beat it with a stick just to see how it reacted and then punished it when it showed obvious behavioural issues as the result of the trauma, people would describe me as EVIL, not as GOOD. Why do people let GOD of the hook when he is such an overt arsehole?

We are judged not for being human beings but for being FLAWED human beings who DELIBERATELY make the wrong choice and sin/do evil. That strikes out against God's holiness so of course God has to judge us for that. Otherwise there would be no justice in His universe; you can't expect to do evil (murder, rob, rape o whatever) with impunity. God resolves the problem of evil neatly at the end. JUst read the Book of Revelation to find out just how He powerfully does it. God created man with free will which means that the responsibility lies with man ot God. How can the Creator be judged for what His creation does on his own? God wasn't responsible for the blasphemy you wrote against Him; the culprit's none other than you! Nobody forced you or anything as you (and you alone) made that choice.

How does God testing humans make him a sadist? The testing (and suffering) is to purify people so that they can improve as humans and attain a standard of morality closer to perfection.
