It's gonna be a pretty morbid season. Deb started the season off hardcore getting banged from behind while snorting coke. lol
-
How is your tren cut going bro?
-
I'm behind like 2 or 3 seasons.
On a side note, he would make a great Dare Devil now that the rights have reverted to Marvel.
-
Jackson?
-
I think the new season will be great!
-
Wow, that Dr. Vogel character is a really solid addition to the cast. Thimgs got off to a way better start than I expected, based on the past couple of seasons. And hopefully that won't be the last time we get to see Aimee Garcia boning, either.
-
beginning of the end, dexter and deb will be sentenced to death, as they should
-
Awesome start. Heard a rumor it may go another season if ratings are high.

I don't have that channel anymore and haven't seen anything past season 2... Is it on netflix or anything? :-\

I suspect more than a few getbiggers sympathize with Dexter's sentiments regarding life and relations with other people.

Yep, and Aimee's character will get her heart broken, again...Bautista and Quinn are gonna have issues over her, and Quinn is a conflicted individual...strippers are more his thing.

Those were Dexter's drawings from when he was a kid. She reviewed the Bay Harbor Butcher profile, saw that it couldn't have been Dokes. Investigated Dexter and found it to be him.
-
Looks great, I just got Showtime about 3 months ago and watched seasons 4 thru 7! This season looks like it will be the most twisted and bloody of all!
-
Were those Dexter's drawings or were they Harrison's?
Thought they were Harrisons!
-
Thought they were Harrisons!
How would Harrison know what his dad did? When would he have seen it? Wouldn't Dexter have known he drew those and ensured he didn't draw them again to out him?
Hey I could be wrong, I just want clarification. I might have to rewatch the episode.
-
In case anyone missed it.

In the episode Dexter is at Harrisons soccer game, he looks to be about 4 or 5 old enough to do those drawings!

Start at 51:15. I'm still confused at to how this kid could find all this out and how the shrink knows about Harry's code.

There was one drawing of a man on a table with a knife stuck in him and blood as well. And then there was the bloody knife drawing. Now, why would Dexter as a little kid draw a man on a table and him stabbing it unless this was something he mulled over, and subconsciously as an adult this came out.
Now, Harrison on the other hand, unless he got into Dexter's knives, and saw some of the pics that Dexter had laid out from time to time or had on his laptop---which he did see as a kid, then he may piece two and two together.
But, there was a drawing of a dog, and remember Dex had killed a dog...but the only other dog was when Dexter was with the "step kids"---and they had a problem. Maybe it maybe the drawings when that other boy was small, and he knew about what Dexter did.
Which means that there are 3 potential people.

He's so fucked regardless. It'll be a helluva season. Incredible show. I didn't start watching until 4 years in then I was hooked. I thought the concept sucked when I heard about it but Michael C. Hall hit a fucking homerun on this one.

I liked Dokes, because he reminds me of someone I know...acted just like him.
Maria's character, as much as I liked her, it played out. I wish that somehow they made it so that she backed off of Dex, but still had that lingering doubt.
Seems like Dr.Vogel will be pulling the strings and using Dex and Deb as executioners.

You may be right Parker, it may be a stepbrother or sister who came forward!

I thought the same exact thing about the concept, but Michael C. Hall is great! Did you watch Six Feet Under on HBO! Hall is good in that too! Good actor!

Angel looks like an idiot and his speech impediment pisses me off. Learn how to pronounce the letter "R" n***a.
Maria was good but yes, it was time for her to go.
I have no clue what they plan to do with Quinn.
Debra is beyond fucked, she wont recover.
And Dex....I'm getting my popcorn for this one. lol
-

Asher is going thru trying times as a teenager, but she doesn't seem like she would have been drawing pics.
Did those drawings look like the work of a girl--the colors, the lack of emotion (tears, hearts, eyes)? I have never seen macabre or morbid pics from kids in real life, but it looked to me to be drawn by a boy. And looked at the family pic, one kid all alone off to the side with a sad type of face. Loneliness, confusion, abandonment? What does that show?

I like Angel---good natured, means well. Has a old fashioned sense of honor, and likes the ladies and a good brawl once in a while. Quinn, he means well, but he is a spoiled rich kid eff up at heart. Always effing up a good thing.
Deb in the real world, she would have been canned a long time ago. Dating a CI who was working for another cop, therefore compromising herself and the other cop. She acted very unprofessional on many levels. And so did Maria, banging that female detective's man just to make her upset and unstable so that she could get the job. A lot of trifling mess that whole dept was.
-
;D ;D ;D
And that is just the way the person acted. And he was ex-military.
Dokes was funny as hell. "The is something off about you Morgan! I'm on to you!"
In another show, those two could have had a good run. A serial killer with no empathy and lived by a code. A special ops guy who killed many, and wants to put a bullet I everybody's head. Both know martial arts, both have no real feelings towards the people they kill. One has anger issues, and the other is calm as hell. Dex would be a good straight man.

That's what makes the show, none of that shit would fly in the real world!

Doakes was fucking awesome. I loved his in your face Getbig style persona. If he had something to say, he didn't give a fuck, he was saying it. I wish they would have let him stay longer. He was funny as hell.
BTW, if Harrison did draw those pics, there's no doubt in my mind, they will allude to him being a future serial killer like his daddy.

"No, I don't want no damn Donuts! Morgan what the hell is wrong with you? I see your act Morgan, you come in here with Donuts, and try to pretend you're everybody's friend. I see right thru you Morgan. You freak!"
I laughed every time he said something. He and Maria would never have lasted. And he even said it.
Maria was always stopping him from putting a bullet in Dex's head.
"I see you Morgan...I'm watching you"
Dex: "ok, have a nice day...sure you don't want a donut..."
*ad-libbing from what I remember.

That's pretty good Parker. Dex didn't like that shit at all. So we have the Hebrew and the Island Hebrew found out who Dex really was and now they're dead. lol ;D

Yep...but see, Doakes since he had killed people when he was Special Ops, and from what it seemed like, they needed to be killed. I would think that he would understand Dexter killing serial killers, or people that "fell thru the cracks."
And why did the dude that got out on parole look like like a light skinned Huggie Bear or the light skinned dude from Bangbrothers?
-
I thought it was decent. They have been hinting that dexter really isn't a classic psychopath despite what his father believed. He has genuine feelings for his son and sister. I own every season and have read all the books. Books aren't very good.

Haven't read the books. So are you saying that this is a rare case where the books are not better than the show/movie? Which coincides with Dexter being a rare case of not fitting the classic profile.
Yeah, he cared for Rita, Cody, Asher, Deb, Harrison

Yes, I can emphatically say the books aren't as good. The books go in a strange direction. I won't ruin them for you if you choose to read them. You could bang one out in a day or two. Pure popcorn fair. In the books, Dexter is without a doubt a sociopath. There is no uncertainty about it at all.
In the show, there is clearly some ambiguity about that. Harry resigned himself to the belief that Dexter was going to be a serial killer instead of getting him help. Harry nurtured his murderous leanings, essentially creating dexter. Dexter has said as much in a previous season.

I need to watch full seasons 1 thru 3! I loved Doakes too!

I think Harry as a Miami cop, was tired of seeing criminals get away and thought that Dexter would be a perfect tool, like a gun. Unfeeling, unmoved. The code was of course to keep him out of trouble, but served a purpose of keeping him focused and on a path to kill those that the law couldn't, didn't or wouldn't deal with.

Deb was snorting coke but wasn't getting banged from behind, just fidgeting.Seems like the woman psychologist is probably behind the brain murder as she is a psychopath herself.
-
feels kinda weird knowing this is the last season....I started watching that show from season 1
-

She could be...but she seems too "clinical". Meaning, she likes to observe, and have others do the dirty work. She is too frail to physically incapacitate most men, so unless she goes the route of poison...but then she has to drag the body. Too much work and heavy lifting for 60ish yr old woman. So she must have someone do it for her.

I'm gussing she is the sister of the john lithgow character. it'll be like a morrored thing, with dex/deb and lithgow/new doctor lady.
-
Is deb HOT? I'm all confused on this....the face is my stumbling block, especially the tard ears.
PS.....and yes IWHI!
-
Worst show I have ever seen.

Shes dead. His sister died in a bathtub.

Shes dead. His sister died in a bathtub.
ah gotcha. there has to be some INSANE twist to this lady. she knows who dexter is. it's the final season. some shit about "i'm your real mom" or something?
It just has to be some super ironic moment that as dexter takes his last breath on the table, she whispers something about being his real mom and ending the code once and for all, then we see little Harrison giggling at us.
-
The new older lady was dexters shrink when he was a kid. Thats why she has the drawings and knows about the code. At least that is my guess.

This is what I'm thinking. She probably had a very long conversation with Harry about what to do with Dexter.

oh that's a great guess! so she knows going in that he's a killer and she's cool with it, probably because she's a psychopath too? she was dating harry and saw dexter as her own, knowing he was flawed. she's followed him for his entire kiling career. awesome. i'm bummed i dont have showtime!

What I think is that she created the code Harry taught Dexter. She could tell that the bay harbor butcher was killing by a code and knew that it was Dexter immediately.

Hmmm, that would be a good guess. And makes perfect sense.

I missed the first 20 mins of the show....I was pissed off.

I see the last episode ending with Dexter passing on his Serial Killer DNA to Harrison!

do you have on demand or DVR?

I see the last episode ending with Dexter passing on his Serial Killer DNA to Harrison!
I saw that Harrison doesn't know how to sit still, and whirl around in seats and likes to clumsily knock things over.
And that everywhere Dex goes, people end up dead.
-
Hmmm, that would be a good guess. And makes perfect sense.
They are exploring the whole concept of nature versus nurture. Would Dexter have become a serial killer with out the influence of Harry and Dr. Vogel pushing him to it? Harry just assumed Dexter was going to become a killer because Dr. Vogel told him Dexter would. Harry never sought help to counter Dexters urges.
-
the show was good until showrunner left.
then it became a mess.
But after you grow with the character, get addicted to his infectious personality you decide to slowly watch it die.
Just like the first girl who sucked you off in the parking lot who's now dying from cancer. Should not have stayed in touch after she swallowed and tried to kiss you. You never got a second one. You stayed with her for a few months building a false relationship hoping for more knob licking action that never happened. Then you get invited to her wedding. Nothing happens. And then she calls you one night after years and years of longing for her sweet lips around your knob to tell you something. This is season 6. You're thinking wow. That is awesome. She's gonna leave her husband and come and live with me and lick and play with my balls 24/7. It's a real mans dream come true. She tells you she has cancer. That's mid season 6. The conversation that started was very promising. You got yourself a hard-on because her sexy raspy cancerous voice made you think of all the sex lines you called whenever you thought of her.
7th/8th season is being her platonic friend for a few years never getting action. Not even a kiss. Taking her to chemo. 8th season is like that one night you both get drunk after she accepts her faith and realizes she doesn't have that much left. She leans in to kiss you and in one swift move you lean in close for the kiss, unbuckle your pants, remove your underpants and get ready for the knob licking of a life time... and she throws up in your mouth. You can taste the cancer. The pain. The suffering. And after you savour every flavour her stomach had to offer, you think to yourself you need some mouthwash. And then she dies in your arms.
That's dexter.
