Do South Thailand next time.  Any of these islands:  Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Pha Ngan

The beaches are just as if not more beautiful and your money will go much, much, much further.  Not to mention the ridiculously easy availability of females.  Just don't expect the waves that Hawaii has.

This video will give you a good idea of what you could expect (except for the nightlife aspect -- no hookers in this vid).  The beach stuff starts at about 2:45 and was filmed on Koh Samui:

Ive been to Hawaii three times and I loved it.  It would be the perfect place to live except for the Hawaiians themselves.  Ghetto culture and attitudes have infested their mentality.  Not all of them but the young for sure.

The natives were less than welcoming.  I remember wishing briefly that the US gov's free blanket policy had been kept in place.

This is true particularly in many of the rural parts. There is an almost racist animosity that exists towards haoles (white people). The cost of living is very high, but it's not much different than any other big city.  Housing is very expensive.  No getting around that.  But if you can find a place you can afford, the rest isn't "too" unbearable.

In exchange for the high cost of living, you get weather of about 82 to 85 degrees year round, beautiful beaches, mountains, clean air, and terrific people. The way of life is just different. Slower pace.  Friendly.

The violent crime rate is among the lowest in the nation, and most of HI's violent crime is domestic.

The property crime rate, however, is among the highest in the nation.  People will break into to your car and your house.  Usually crack heads.

Taxes are high, which sucks.  It's also a one-party state (Democrats), and the taxes are high. It's not very business friendly because of the high taxes.  Lots of state government regulation too.

Employment wise, it's pretty good.  The unemployment rate is usually lower than the national average.  There are usually a lot of opportunities in the healthcare field.

If you have kids, the public school system sucks.  Most folks who can afford to send their kids to private school do so.

Where are you moving there from? Hawaii is a state. Anyone who is a U.S. citizen can live there if they chose. However, if you are moving from another country, you'd have to meet the same requirements any alien does when they come to the U.S. legally.

I like Hawaii. I've got friends there who have been there for decades. So much for island fever. The weather is unbeatable.

and this could be said of any island, i lived in martinique in the caribeean for 4 years when i was a child. Islands are often populated by racist "natives" who duplicitely  both hate and love the white man who built everything after they came, there is often high unemployment among natives and the whiteys have the best places and rule the whole thing, and colored natives are often cosntantly frustrated of being reminded they re inferior. Some try to flee their condition by mixing with the whiteys tho. Life is slow because of the sea, the sun, the heat, it's cool but sometimes, especially for a sharp white mind, it's getting boring and annoying pretty fast to deal with lazy wankers. And again, every place on earth is worth living at ...if you re rich, from the top of the middle class or from the highest social classes.

I agree that island living is expensive. Decent housing on Oahu is very expensive as would I imagine it being on Maui. The big Island is somewhat less expensive, so I've heard.

..life is too short to not live in a beautiful place.

first you'd have to learn how to get a job and keep it... and learn how to be financially responsible.

$20 says you'll get your ass handed to you twice by some local for running your mouth in the first month you're there.

$50 says you'll be smoking meth within 3 months... lonely and begging your dad to wire you more money.

We rent a nice apartment for $4500 per month in Honolulu. We lived on Maui for two years and had a nice house upcountry for only $2200 for a year and a nice house in South Maui for $3300.

Maui is the place to live if you are a white couple with no kids and have money. They all live in gated communities.

My friend bitches about the pace, too. On the mainland he could get his oil changed in 20 minutes. In HI, plan on leaving your car at the shop for the day. Everyday chores like grocery shopping just seem to take longer.

Also, Hawaii is a very "clique-ish" culture. People tend to stick together and every one is scratching everyone's back. Meaning that it helps if you know people, which is easy if you were born and raised there, but if you don't, things are much harder. Just things like getting a contractor, buying a car; even buying or renting a house or apartment... if you don't know somebody then you're going to get reamed.

My daughter and her husband lived on Oahu for five years. The loved it and would move back in a flash. What someone posted about knowing a native Islander makes fitting in better is probably true. They made friends with a native. He opened a lot of doors for them.

We have all been thinking about buying some property there together and possibly moving there in the near future. Not sure if it will work out, but I am open to the possibility. I love Hawaii.

It is very expensive to buy property is Carmel or Montecito. This is why it is a dream and why I still live in Oregon. I probably couldn't afford to buy kid's playhouse there with the proceeds from the sale of my current home. Still, I like to dream.

Hawaii is great to visit. I lived in Pismo Beach (Cal Central Coast) for one year. Seemed like it was 68 degrees year round. Nice. I now spend winters in the Phoenix valley GREAT and the summer in the White Mountains even BETTER.

Non Hawaiians couldn't even own land here until 1848.

Whites first came 70 years before that.

the issue i have with hawaii is the crime rate

we used to get a documentary series on in the uk called hawai 5-0

every week there would be a murder

luckily the law enforcement were good and usually solved it in about 50 minutes

the issue i have with hawaii is the crime rate

we used to get a documentary series on in the uk called hawai 5-0

every week there would be a murder

luckily the law enforcement were good and usually solved it in about 50 minutes

also if i was a bail jumper i would avoid. they are able to trace bail jumpers and apprehend them in 22 minutes. its impressive. also the mullet goes against everything i would stand for

So you base your views on Hawaii's crime rate on an ancient television drama? Hate to tell you this, but those murders weren't real and the police detectives were actually just actors. -Don't believe the mullet is a popular hairstyle anymore in Hawaii....maybe some places in the deep south or the Ozarks, but not in Hawaii.

guys really...im open to anywhere. I just want to live somewhere cool and try something new while I can. Ill be 21 shortly so now that I can finally get into any bar or club I want my whole life is going to be a milllion times easier.

Like I said I hate LA....Im looking for a relatively quiet place, a good gym, fresh air,  pretty girls, and a town predominately full of white people.

. If anyone has a room or apartment for rent ....I'll give 500 a month. Add to the fact that You will fuck three times the amount of  chicks you usually do just by being associated with me... ;).

$500 a month is alot.... easily enough to cover your food bill.

Ive been to Hawaii three times and I loved it.  It would be the perfect place to live except for the Hawaiians themselves.  Ghetto culture and attitudes have infested their mentality.  Not all of them but the young for sure.

+100

Half the population is on disability, Workmen's Compensation, or some other form of welfare. They are the "entitled".
Get a big gulp for one hand and a joint for the other and you will fit right in!

I'll take Dana Point or Laguna Beach, Cali, any day.

Lift, fuck, make money,
DOC

+1000

Go to Waikiki.  If you are white you will look around and as you see the population and the first thing you will think is "WTF??  If we won the war, how come they got the island?"
Lots of Japs around.  Even true Hawaiians are scarce because of the interracial marriages have become so common they are basically all mutts now.

You can't walk three feet outside a shop or restaurant without running into a homeless person with their hand out.  Beautiful island, fantastic parks except for the small fact that under every shady tree and on every fucking park bench is a group of homeless.  I mean they will literally be occupying every single inch of shade up a tree in the parks.  Fucking shopping buggies filled up and overflowing, blankets and shit hanging off the sides.

The young are nothing but lazy drug addicts.  Scavengers with a typical ghetto mentality.  Would rather earn their drug money by breaking into cars and other shitty theft tactics.   Trying to act all "hard" and "tough" like they will fight you over the slightest thing, real or imagined.  But the little bitches can't fight unless they are with their friends and have the other person(s) out numbered.  9 times out of 10 if you are encountered alone by 2 (maybe 3) people, the entire confrontation is over as soon as you hit the lead shit talker in the mouth.  They will opt to run and fetch either the police or their buddies before returning.  In either case, you won't see them again without someone else there to do their dirty work for them.   The people that do work often work 2 sometimes 3 jobs.  If they can find them.  Domestic violence is high and the way they treat their elderly is absolutely atrocious.

As a whole, they are incredibly bitter and jealous of the "mainland" tribes.  Especially whites.  Because of the jobs, money and opportunities they have back home.  But instead of working to better themselves and their communities, they instead just stew in their own self hate and expect everything to be done for them.

well, considering I've been doing 'this' since he was 4yrs old old?

shit.... you know 'flinstones' is the same age as my little sister and brother... which means i'm old enough to have changed his diapers and made him sit in time-out. and just about the time he learned to go potty in the toilet, i was already lifting weights and drinking ProPerformance 1850 weight gainers, and by the time he was starting kindergarten (for the first time), i was in mexico injecting my first ampule of Sten.... and while he was sipping on his chocolate milk at his baby sitters on a Saturday morning watching cartoons, i was in handcuffs for the first time in Tijuana with some greesy Mexican's pistol to the back of my head.

the internet has ruined an entire generation.

That might take some getting used to, but you got cable or satellite or whatever for your movies, and you can order anything from a department store online. Is there a grocery store nearby?

The nearest movie theaters are only 6 or 7 miles away. We are halfway between two major malls also about 7 miles away. Downtown Portland is about 10 miles from here.

There is a Safeway, Albertson's, Market of Choice and recently a WalMart neighborhood grocery store (not the big box type store).

Actually, I think mixing up the races has a lot of advantages. On the other hand, if everyone does this then there will only be one race someday....the human race. I guess that isn't all bad, huh?

My kids are English and French my family; Irish and Scottish my wife's family. They seem like pretty solid stock. My daughter added in Italian and my son brought German to the mix. If their are any ancient "Hebrews" in the mix, we are not aware of it. Sorry Wiggs there is not a kinky haired one among us.

It doesn't work like that. Colorist comes into effect. Look at Brazil, that is what America will be like...
The mixed---mulattos will be the intermediate/standard, whereas the darker black folk will be considered less than, but with an American twist---they will become more "real", authentic, "the black experience". And the white folk at the top, representing beauty.

yea, but brazil is white Europeans and black Africans with indigenous mixed in towards the west.

American is a lot more diverse... not just old descendants of slaves and black immigrants.... we have south American, Polynesian, Asian, arab, jews, ect... bigger the gene pool, healthier the babys.

Well, not really. The ploys are a small minority...and they tend to carry the fatty genetics, as do the Latinos of Ameridian descent---Which is population with more Indians in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Peru, Chile.
You also have to account that Americans are massively dysfunctional, addicts, single parents, entitled eff ups.
This doesn't bode well for healthiness, especially mental and spiritual health.
The women with best looking bodies---are black and white. White women have shape, boobs, and child bearing hips. Black women (West African-South African) have that hour glass shape, half moon bubble butts, boobs...
Those are the two go to women.

So where does this leave me? I am French and English with a little Cherokee Indian mixed in supposedly somewhere a lot of generations ago. I tan easily. I have olive skin and blond hair (well these days of old it is actually white).

Personally, I believe the future is upon us. The more exotic and yet white identified features one has the more aesthetically appealing they appear to the bulk of the world population. Understanding that there are those who seek too appear more Caucasian and those Caucasians who desire to appear more exotic in order to set themselves apart from the norm. I am particularly Caucasian in every respect. This is not very exciting or exotic, but it is what it is.

Isn't Oceanside mostly jarheads? No disrespect, of course, but isn't that what you'd be moving into?

Doc spent time at Pendleton so he knows O'side and yes there are a lot of Marines. The city had undergone a rebirth and really had been cleaned up. The problem is because of the stigmata of being military town it will never be Newport.
Doc has a second beach house in Dana Point--- ocean views in every room. You are not gonna find that in O'side because it is flat-- unless you live on the strand. Real estate is much more costly in Dana Point and Laguna Beach, but you would never loose on it. Instead of "ocean close" you have ocean view.
10 years ago Laguna Beach was like Palm Springs--Principally All Gay. Now it is very family orientated and some great places to eat.
Only problem-- no Gold's. Got to drive to Rancho Santa Marguerita near Coto de Caza. There are a ton of 'boutique gyms' in DP/LB-- kind of fagotty.

P.S. Love LA man....

If I moved back to California, I'd go for Montecito or Carmel. They seem more removed from the L.A. crazy life.

guys really...im open to anywhere.

Add to the fact that You will fuck three times the amount of  chicks you usually do just by being associated with me... ;).

$500 a month is alot.... easily enough to cover your food bill.

went 4 vacation and loved it.

..life is too short to not live in a beautiful place.

Respectfully, no.  It's too hot and too humid for me.  The roaches and weird white lizards never have a slumber period.  No thanks.

If I'd my druthers, I'd live in a place where the highs were in the high 50s F during the day and below 40 at night year-round.  No obnoxious bugs, no need for air conditioning or much in the way of heating.  And if the nights do make you cold, just jump on some tren, then all will be well :D

It might not be as beautiful as Hawaii, but then, I find mountain vistas very attractive.  The only real downside is that, unless you're very close to a bustling university, you probably won't see much in the way of hot young pussy on a regular basis.  But I'm sure there are plenty of locations with decent-sized schools which meet my other criteria.

Decent vacation spot but I would not want to live there. After 5 days on oahu I was sick of that music that gets played everywhere. Traffic around honolulu was a clusterfuk, just as bad as DC. Property was way overpriced and the food costs were off the charts.

The pacific ocean was nice and some of the scenery was very majestic but after a week I was ready to come home.

I know you weren't asking me, but Kauai is great. Girlfriend's family has a timeshare there, we went two or three years ago. Less developed than Oahu, as you'd probably expect, but that's what I like about it. A lot less crowded and busy. Beautiful, of course, goes without saying. Incredibly green. They filmed much of Jurassic Park there.

Downside: wild fucking roosters everywhere. They won't let you sleep in.

Moreso country than Honolulu, yes, but there are still hotels, restaurants, and bars nearby. At the timeshare, of course, it was mostly vacationing mainlanders and retirees, but get in the car and you'll see plenty of locals, too. It was mixed.

If your parents were so rich you wouldn't think $500 was a fortune
I'm tall enough, good looking enough and financially comfortable yet I still get a laugh arguing with a mentally retarded, lying, dillusionite. You are the new tbomz, an overly opinionated loser boy who will likely also experience the wrath of rec drugs

loan? Your talking to a guy who didn't even finish high school you fucking dunce I wouldn't even know how to take out a loan. :-*

anyways..my dad's giving me the keys  ;D    have fun working your supplement shop while I'm partying in  Malibu...paying no rent, living in a 5,000 square foot home and sleeping till noon nigga.

A loan, as in a lend, someone allowing you to borrow something.
And every day of my life I do what I want, not just 'in December', besides you're making that up
Sleeping til noon is something that excites you? Self-owned

Nope, not all at until I plan to retire with a beach front estate.  The thing about Hawaii is that visiting is sweet when you stay at a posh resort, but living with the locals who are a cross between samoan/Japanese and blacks just sucks.  I live in SD and go to the beach all the time and barely see any homeless or bums at the beach, but in Hawaii there are drunk bums all over the fucking place.

The school system is shit.  A friend of mine was saying grade 9 there is like grade 5 here.  I bet if you looked at all the beach front homes I would guess that 75% of them are rentals or vacation homes.

for blacks or whites?

Either. Do whites there have a problem with blacks and vice versa? I thought Hawaii was pretty liberal. It is very Democratic after all. Probably the most politically Democratic state in the nation. I know Islanders have issues with us haole's. Is this regardless of color?

Pretty soon, we will all be fully integrated. What will there be then to complain about?

U ok in my books, man but, your parents fucked up in raising u ;D

Anyone should be able to graduate HS, it's not Harvard or Stanford

Good luck either way in life, I came from a wealthy family as well, but u shouldn't take that for granted and make something out of yourself... Guess self pride, hard work, somewhat of an education is out the window more so with this generation  :-\

Of all things only one thing GH15 got right.. Generation nothingness  ;D

Seems pathetic and yet it is possibly most kid's dream to be kept by their parents so they don't have to face the real world. I guess you don't have a strong desire to become an adult.

People seem to get along here much better than the Internet seems to think.
