What's really funny is that more than half the members of this board walk into a gym each day, load a bar with that exact amount of weight, grind out 3-4 grueling reps, add a 10lb plate, grind out 2 more reps while there friends spot and yell at em, then they move onto the the butterfly machine for 2 sets, finishing with a Carbo Force they purchased from behind the main gym counter and then they call it a day.

from what ive gathered, shawn preferred to "pump" the muscle as opposed to killing it with 4-500lbs. I cant recall seeing a pic of him with 3 plates or more each side but then he never needed it did he

i guess that's why he was never more than 218 on stage.

C'mon use your brain a little man. Everyone knows why he didn't win. And he couldn't do a thing about it either.
the reason he never won is because he looked smooth and small next to Yates the beast and just plain too tiny next to Coleman and Haney................... ....next!!!!!!!!!!

EVERY TIME! --If you don't like him personally fine, but you can NEVER question what he was as a competitor. Shawn was David who slew all but a few Goliaths. He was an An Olympian top 5 for almost a decade. What does the amount of weight he uses now, several years after he stopped competing have to do with anything??

                  Relevance?

Looks like a muscle camp.  I'm no detective, but I gathered that from the t-shirts that say "muscle camp".  I woiuld also assume that the bar is light so that he can show a functional/interactive example of the correct way of bench pressing.  But I'm sure all of you are correct in assuming that Shawn can only bench 100 lbs.
