he has never ever increased the working weight over time.
nothing substantial
he uses the same weight he did a year ago and same easy movements.
he's basically a lazy 3 time a week chest and arm guy

Genova's training:
pressing: all ego, throwing around weight for low reps, locking out at the top to take long breaks in between reps, free falling on the way down, bouncing etc etc. doing reps like this for a few doesnt stimulate growth of the muscles
squats: quarter squats with 1 plate each side for a few spastic shit reps
most of his other exercises are done the same: shit form, zero muscle mind connection, low ego reps with no negatives and long lockouts in between reps
zero intensity or concentration, just yapping away like a bitch the entire time in the gym while doing a few shit ego reps in between

1. He actually does have the max amount of muscle he would have as a natural for his size, although I do think he has taken pro-hormones which don`t do much anyways. He has plenty of muscle actually.
2. He does move up weights and he has benched 315 for reps and does squat now ass to ground pretty well actually. He is not weak and he does go up in weights at times.
3. He is not lazy and is always at the gym 4-5 days a week minimum with added session with that other trainer.

My take is that his caloric intake has been too high as he does not know how to measure or weigh things properly. He could easily learn, but everyone who has tried to help him has no clue either. His help is always from people who are roided out of their minds who are much bigger so they have no clue how to prescribe anything for someone much smaller with less muscle.
He could easily learn this. This mustard diet is just hurting him in that he will now think this is the way to get lean and that all other foods are bad or off limits. This is setting him up for disaster in the near future the moment he drops this dumbass diet. He will eat whatever is not nailed down and I would not blame him at all for doing so.
This is going to get ugly.

I think it's safe to say he is on some kind of anti-psychotics. He is a very close resemblance in terms of appearance and behavior to a friend of mine who is bi-polar schizo and takes meds.

I am aware that he has learning difficulties of some sort yes. Technically he's not "retarded" but it just a bit simple, low IQ etc, call it what you will. But it's these things which are causing other problems with his training - he doesn't have that "drive" to eat consistently and follow a proper bodybuilding diet - his mind is elsewhere a lot of the time and so the focus isn't on eating a lot of good, clean food. Not to mention finances to buy a lot of food or supplements. He'll likely always remain looking like that. I feel bad for him because he clearly has a lot of passion for bodybuilding.

i think jason looks pretty good for a short fella. he has muscle and strength. has no lower droopy pec fat no gut
he could look dryer if he cut his water but health wise that would be bad
he would look better if he could muster the energy to do 200 pushups a day on top of what he already does but i dont think thats possible.
hes not an intense individual, i think being intense could actually kill the kid

he lacks chest, he needs to be doing pushups at least 3-4 times a day. hes just not pumped up. to look good you need to do bodyweight exercises a few times a day and get in plenty of carbs
and i mean plenty of good carbs like grapes, potatoes, lowfat popcorn, rice cakes, apples, bananas , pears
he needs a variety of carbs. some carbs put you to sleep but are great for taste like pretzels and golden grams both wheat based
carbs that give you nutrtion =all your fruits
food that will give him energy =small amounts of fat all hours of the day and burn it off with pushups=will turn into muscle

IMO it's all diet. like you said he knows how to train and he's got passion like nobodies business
in all honestly he looks like he might have estrogen issues that contribute to the amount of fat he holds and his inability to get lean. the other thing is I think he's fights true depression. with this comes binging. eating disorders. anxiety. a whole can of worms I don't think he even realised he could possibly have.
his first step is to talk to a health care professional. figure that end of it out. if not he won't get better only worse. it compounds never lessens. he's a good kid I wish him the best. if I was going to take him on as a client I'd make his doc a first stop. from there wed work to correct the rest of his issues.

im down about 80 from where I had my health problems, so I feel your pain.
honestly im doing zero cardio, just more intense workouts and on point with diet and its much more tolerable than other diets where I busted my ass doing cardio and ate more/shittied.

He'd look so much better if he lost 10kg. Even at his lightest (for his competitions) he was still too heavy to really see his muscles clearly. As of now, his muscles are so hidden that he may as well not lift at all. The results of his hard work aren't showing, and will never show if he doesn't fix things up with his diet.

I think he keeps his intake high because he's scared of getting light. It's how someone becomes a "permabulker". They're confusing weight (seeing progress on the scales) with muscle (seeing progress in the mirror or photos).

ok fair enough, so I do not know, you are 100% right and I hope he gets shredded but I have been in this field for ever and the reality is I give someone 3 attempts to get shredded and if they do not do it by the third time 99% of the time an unbreakable pattern emerges of dieting over and over and over for years and years and years and nothing changes, they always fall short.

it is so frustrating to watch people like this because Genova has muscle under there and he has more potential then displaying, the only problem with him in my eyes is he falls short on his diet, he lies about what he eats, he says he follows the diet but clearly he does not. Nothing new here, he probably binges every few days not realizing that he just fucked up 3 to 4 days of dieting in one binge.
But like you, I wish him the best and it is possible to break out of the pattern, some do but very few do.

I would put Jason on a diet like this:
Chipotle double meat burrito, a few protein shakes, a few fruits , almonds, salad, cereal postworkout, sandwich with deli meat.. Something like that, with the right amount of calories.
I wouldn't have him cooking (microwaving) anything, lol.

Jason needs constant babysitting to stay on his diet, otherwise he falls off the rails as soon as he has the chance. His trainer (I forget his name) went on vacation or something and came back and Jason was something like 5lbs heavier, started blaming the "testosterone" he started taking. As if he has the balls or the knowledge to properly inject anything into his body. As long as his trainer is there with him 24/7, Jason will keep leaning out. As soon as they reach the desired look and his trainer finally drops Jason and lets him out into the wild, Jason will fall off again and gain every ounce of fat he lost.
He likes the stardom, not the work and discipline that goes with being a bodybuilder at any level.

A lot of people struggle with overeating, even getbig members. Either way Jason has put on muscle. Working at a grocery store, I imagine is bad influence on his diet; seeing food all day.

He's juicing or on a ton of prohormones. I've gone to the same gym as him for 5-6 years. He never had much muscle.

Maybe once a week. Joined a new gym closer to my house. Only see him once and awhile, but if people think its just a diet change that made these changes, they're crazy.
